Loose Women’s Kaye Adams forced to apologise live on-air after swearing blunder

Presenter Kaye Adams was forced to step in during the latest instalment of Loose Women after Comedian Ruby Wax said a rude word live on air while discussing her daughters’ show

Loose Women star Kaye Adams was quick to issue an apology to viewers after guest Ruby Wax said a rude word on air.

The talkative ladies were back for another instalment on Thursday (June 27) with panellists Kaye, Frankie Bridge, Brenda Edwards and Kelle Bryan in the driving seat. Later on in the show, the women were joined on the show by comedy legend, Ruby.

Discussing her UK tour called, I’m Not As Well As I Thought I Was, Ruby divulged into the details about her on stage production which provides audience members with further insight into her mental health. As the conversation continued, Ruby also spoke openly about her two daughters, Marina and Madeline Bye, who are also a comedic double act.

Talking about their show, Ruby revealed that her daughters often ban her from helping them put their act together. The 71-year-old also said she was so “worried about them being funny” and that her daughters sometimes don’t allow her to watch their performances.

Kaye then asked: “How does it feel to see them up there, even if you’re only allowed for two minutes before you get booted out?” Ruby replied: “I don’t know!

“They’re more talented than I am so I get, p****d off. Yeah really p*****d off, none of this ‘go girl!'”

As the audience roared with laughter at the frank remark, Kaye quickly apologised. She said: “Well, I mean I take great pleasure in having to apologise for Ruby Wax’s language. It will go down in my CV!”

She said: “The original idea behind this show was based on the extreme journeys that I wanted to take in order to find an antidote to living a frazzled life. Along the way I wanted to find meaning, peace, happiness – the stuff we’re all chasing. However, after some transcendent experiences, I ended up in a mental institution. Obviously, I didn’t find what I was looking for.”
