Una Healy’s possible three-way relationship was discussed on today’s edition of Loose Women – with panelist Katie Piper even joking she’s up for becoming David Haye’s third girlfriend and making things a quadruple

Katie Piper has shown Una Healy some support as David Haye seemingly confirms he is in a throuple with The Saturdays singer and Sian Osborne.

Discussing Una’s relationship status on Loose Women today, Katie explained how she ‘really admires’ the mum-of-two and her unorthodox love-life – even joking she wants to join in on the fun and “make things a quadruple”.

While Dame Kelly Holmes can’t quite get her head around the idea of a throuple, Katie thinks Una’s current situation may actually be more suited to her lifestyle after a painful marriage split – adding how the trio are obviously having a great time and not hurting anyone.

Throuple speculation began at the start of this year, when Una shared a picture of herself, David and Sian, 30, all holding hands at a restaurant in Morocco on Instagram and told her fans: “I’ve started 2023 in a comfortable place, feeling genuinely happy and at peace. Here’s to this year being ours x.”

David seemingly confirmed the three-way relationship on Valentine’s Day, as the boxer paid tribute to his “two beautiful Queens” over on his Instagram page.

Discussing the trio’s setup on today’s Loose Women, panelist Kelly admitted she doesn’t judge the three stars but it’s not her cup of tea and she can’t quite understand how the relationship could work.

But Katie was much more supportive, telling her co-stars and the live audience: “I totally get the concept. I really admire Una.

“She’s been through quite a painful breakup in her marriage and, you know, I would see an arrangement like this, where everything is laid out on the table…. I would rather be in a throuple than lied to and cheated on.”

The presenter went on to add: “They’re obviously having a great time and not hurting anyone. Maybe if you’ve already had children and you don’t want a long-term relationship and more kids, it suits where you’re at in your life.”

After welcoming two children – Aoife, nine, and Tadgh, six – into the world together, Una’s marriage with ex-husband Ben came to an end amid speculation the sports star was unfaithful.

Following their split, Ben moved on with current wife Jackie and in 2020, welcomed his third child into the world – a daughter named Farrah.

“Obviously, what I did was very selfish in regards to Una. I think it was a shock to her, me getting married so quickly,” Ben confessed to OK! magazine when discussing his 2019 wedding with Jackie.

“Una and I hadn’t been together for a year and a half but I think what made it bad was it was such a big thing in the media and it was everywhere, so, I did owe her an apology for that and should probably have let her know a bit more about what was going on.”
