Loose Women star strips to her underwear live on TV leaving panel in hysterics

Skinny jeans are making a comeback and on Friday, Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha tried her own pair. But the trousers left her in a tough spot and her co-stars in hysterics.

Nadia Sawalha was out of control after trying to get into a pair of skinny jeans during a chaotic moment on Friday’s instalment of Loose Women.After learning that the skinny jean revival was due for autumn and winter 2024, the panellist was challenged to try her own pair. Nadia was initially hesitant but eventually obliged, openly flashing her underwear as she stripped off her trousers to the amazement of the studio audience.

The 59-year-old was then handed over a pair of skinny jeans but she encountered great difficulty when she tried to make herself comfortable in the trousers. Things went from bad to worse when Nadia was unable to adjust the fit of the garment or even close the jeans.

Desperate for a solution, after almost bearing it all on live television, Nadia lied down flat on her back, right in front of the Loose Women table, in a bid to button up her jeans, with Jane Moore’s help.

Just as Nadia and Jane were battling the jeans, while audience members were either speechless or lost in a fit of laughter, Kaye Adams and Kelly Holmes joined the pair – and a clothes hanger was hilariously thrown into the mix.

In another chaotic segment, the four ladies then cheered unanimously, along with the audience, when Nadia finally stood up, punching the air and wearing the black skinny jeans.

However, her ordeal was far from over – Nadia earned herself more chuckling and laughter as she made her way back to her spot around the Loose Women table, as she was clearly uncomfortable in the trousers.

The panellist bit her tongue and struggled to walk before finding her seat where she sat slumped, exhausted by her efforts. “Is the show over yet?”, she asked, only minutes before her time to sign off alongside her three co-stars, leaving both the panel and audience members in hysterics again.

Earlier this year, in February, 2024, Nadia lifted the lid on a health scare which left her “panic-stricken”, terrified for her life. The presenter was rushed to hospital after spotting a troubling symptom in her eye, moments before going on air.

“I did the morning meeting, and rang the optician and said I’ve got this, this, this and they said leave now and go straight to A&E. It was really dramatic; I was really panic stricken actually because I thought I’d just go after the show. And then Gloria (Hunniford) came in, because I was going to have to leave the show and there’s never been three Loose Women”, she remembered.

Nadia then revealed what she had been diagnosed with following her ordeal, explaining that she had simply witnessed the effects of aging. “The long and short of it is, I’ve got an ageing eye. They’re both ageing, the jelly’s coming off the back. I’ve got a microscopic haemorrhage. I know it’s microscopic but I don’t want a haemorrhage”, she’d said.
