Loose Women star sparks exit fears as she warns ‘three strikes and I’m out’

Loose Women star Charlene White got a stern telling off from her co-star Coleen Nolan as she admitted she turned up late for the daily ITV daytime show briefing

Loose Women head panelist Charlene White left fans worried for her future on the show as she was warned live on-air about being late.

The panel – which included Brenda Edwards, Coleen Nolan and EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy – were discussing what time is the best time to show up to things, with Natalie confessing she’s an early bird.

Charlene kicked things off by saying: “First – Natalie, apparently, was early for our morning meeting today. I say ‘apparently’ because I was late! But you’re always on time for everything, right?”

Natalie confessed: “On time for me is early,” prompting giggles from the studio audience and her fellow stars. But a snappy Coleen Nolan was quick to say: “If you’re late for work, for me, that’s really unprofessional.”

Charlene insisted: “It was out of my control, just saying!” but Coleen went on to warn her: “Well I’m going to take a note. That’s your first warning, live on-air.”

But she wasn’t the only one at risk, as Charlene later snapped at Brenda for giggling her way through a segment about her “mystery man”. Teasing that his identity would finally be exposed, she snapped at Brenda: “I’m actually gonna ban Brenda from this programme if she doesn’t stop giggling. I love you though.”

It turned out Brenda’s man wasn’t even real – she’d “manifested” him so she can bring a real gentleman into her life. Brenda argued that good men only come around when she’s dating someone, so she’s invented her own boyfriend in the meantime.

“I’m going to end it there, because I really don’t know where else I can go with that one,” Charlene told her – drawing an abrupt end to the ITV daytime show.

Elsewhere on the show, Natalie was keen to explain the advice the late Dame Barbara Windsor gave her while working on EastEnders. But things went awry as Charlene exposed a “private” chat they’d had in the green room.

Charlene said: “She could be tough with you without saying a word. Like, if you’d had a night out when you were working the next day?”

Natalie fired back: “Thank you for that! It was a private conversation in the green room! But I remember going out with H from Steps one night – it was early 2000s, maybe very late 90s.

“I came into work and it was in the days when EastEnders stars were on the front of papers, it was a big thing back then. I remember walking in and me and H from Steps were on the front of The Sun. I remember walking past and seeing Barbara with a paper.

“I was like, ‘I have been out but I am on time!’ but I don’t think I ever did it again!” she confessed.
