Linda Robson’s ‘boobs are down to her knees’ as co-star says she’d breastfeed grandkids

Loose Women star Linda Robson admitted that she would never breastfeed her grandchildren during a controversial chat as she “doesn’t have any milk left” after giving birth

Loose Women star Linda Robson joked that her “boobs are down to her knees” as co-star Nadia Sawalha admitted that she would breastfeed her grandchildren.

During Thursday’s (July 18) episode of the ITV hit daytime show, viewers watching at home and the live studio audience were joined by Charlene White, Judi Love, Nadia Sawalha and Linda Robson.

During the first segment the panellist discussed if they would ever breastfeed. Linda strongly disagreed with the idea as she said that she struggled feeding her own children.

Charlene started off by saying: “Would you do that for your grandchildren?” Linda, 66, went on to say: “I’ve got no milk there and mine are practically on my knees now as well so no I can’t see how it’s going to work.”

Judi continued: “My first initial thing is as soon as you think about someone else having their breast in your baby’s month, that’s the first thing that makes you have the ick but if it’s something medical or I had to do it for my grandchild then yeah because who else would best.”

Co-star Nadia was onboard with the idea and said she would “definitely do it” as she admitted she grew up seeing her family members feed each other’s babies.

She said: “I think in this country we are really scared around breastfeeding because my father is Jewish and I grew up seeing my cousins feed each other babies.

Nadia continued: “If they were babysitting they would feed the other one’s baby and I didn’t think anything of it but then the rest of the world that’s the most disgusting thing ever so I do understand.”

““I would definitely do it If my grandchild is hungry,” Nadia admitted. “I do understand why people feel funny about it because you know when a baby cries and a mum might put their finger in their mouth.”

Before she could finish her sentence, Charlene said: “I’m good with that, If it’s a family member then I’m good with them teething my child. She added: “But I think we have become a bit icky about the breastfeeding thing and yet we are not icky about giving children cow’s milk but we feel funny about giving them someone else.”
