She has been married to her current partner for over two decades, but it was her first partner that broke her heart when he cheated on her while pregnant

Linda Robson has been happily married to her current husband for 26 years but still regrets being cheated on for so long in her first relationship.

The Birds of a Feather star spoke candidly on Loose Women about how her first partner of 11 years was a “serial cheat” and she wished she had ended it sooner

Sharing her heartbreak over her first love, who she had daughter Lauren with, Linda said: “I caught him lots and lots of times, probably my biggest regret is that I didn’t finish it earlier.

“The strange thing was there was a family do not too long ago, and he actually blamed me for the break-up.”

The 58-year-old explained that Lauren’s dad had told members of her family the reason he cheated was “because I was always away working

A furious Linda said this was the opposite: “That was such a lie, I was always there. I think he was just trying to make up an excuse to make himself feel better by trying to blame me for working.”

Despite blasting her ex for “cheating on me while I was pregnant”, she defended him and says that he has always been a “good dad” to Lauren.

She added: “Times have moved on, I’m very happily married. I was like ‘How have you made that up?'”
