Kelsey Parker reveals how Tom’s parents reacted to pregnancy news in emotional admission

Kelsey Parker has opened up about the reaction of Tom Parker’s pregnancy with her new boyfriend on an interview with the Loose Women on the ITV panel show today

Kelsey Parker has opened up on her late husband Tom Parker’s parents’ reaction to her pregnancy with her new partner.

Speaking on the Loose Women panel Kelsey said she speaks to Tom’s parents every weekend via FaceTime. “Noreen is just happy for me. She even messaged me the other day and asked if they’d find out what I’m having. I said I still don’t know,” she said. She added that Tom’s mum Noreed told her: “As long as you and the baby are healthy and happy that’s all that matters.”

Asked how her boyfriend Will is feeling about the whole pregnancy, Kelsey said: “I feel like he’s skipped a stage. He’s had to come in and have the 4/5 year old and now he’s going to have a newborn.”

Kelsey is a proud mum to daughter Aurelia, who is now five, and Bodhi, four, who she shares with her late husband, The Wanted star Tom Parker. Kelsey found out she was pregnant with youngest Bodhi during lockdown, shortly before finding out about Tom’s brain tumour.

During her Loose Women interview, the mother of two revealed that her children were “over the moon” they were gaining a little sibling. Aurelia wants a little sister, whereas Bodhi wants a little brother. However, Kelsey refuses to find out. “We have actually got an email with the result but we’ve not actually opened it,” she shockingly announced.

Speaking on her children, Kelsey said: “They deserve the happiness, because so much has been taken away from them, and I just want them to be happy, and they’re over the moon.

“We’re taking every moment and lapping it up because life has been so tough for us. Life can change like that. I went through hell and back, and now I’m trying to find the joys through life.”

Tom tragically passed away in March 2022 after a battle with terminal brain cancer glioblastoma. At the time, his daughter Aurelia was two years old and his son Bodhi was one

Revealing her third pregnancy in an interview with The Mirror, Kelsey shared: “Tom and I always said we wanted four – but life had other plans. So yes, this is amazing but also bittersweet.

“The joys of finding out I’m pregnant and moving forward with my life, while thinking, “My life could have been so different.” I’ve felt every emotion under the sun. I’m still getting my head around it but I’m so excited.”
