ITV viewers said the Loose Women stars didn’t look too happy at This Morning’s win at the National Television Awards, as the shows were vying for the same award
Loose Women host Kaye Adams insisted the panelliss were cheering on This Morning after viewers described their ‘shady’ reaction to being beaten at the National Television Awards.
During the crossover between This Morning and Loose Women, Kaye congratulated hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on the win for Best Daytime.
She said: “Congratulations by the way, we were cheering for you!” before promising viewers a behind the scenes special in the midday show.
However, during the live televised event, the camera panned to the Loose Women panellists, including Kaye, and viewers thought the stars looked less than impressed as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield headed to the stage with their fellow presenters and crew.
Both shows were up for best daytime, which This Morning won last year as well and during the crossover a number of viewers remarked on the moment.

One took to Twitter to write: “No you weren’t Kaye, you had a look that would turn fresh milk sour when This Morning was announced as the winner.”
A second tweeted: “‘Congratulations btw we were cheering for ya’ Your faces told a different story Kaye,” alongside a string of crying laughing emojis.

There has been huge speculation surrounding the This Morning pair since their apparent queue jump while the country mourned the Queen – but that didn’t stop the pair from bagging yet another NTA.
However, the moment couldn’t pass without a glimmer of controversy and as Phil and Holly embraced after winning the NTA for the fifth year, the cameras panned across the group and Linda was clear in her thoughts.
The former Birds of a Feather star isn’t one to hide her emotions and clearly wasn’t impressed by their win as she sat stone faced and still while others around her applauded the accolade.
And her reaction was quickly picked up by viewers watching from home as fans flocked to Twitter to discuss the moment.
One user wrote: “Yes. Loved that Linda Robson didn’t bother to clap she looked quite p**sed off.”
Another noted: “Even the Loose Women weren’t impressed when This Morning won,” while another added to the post: “It’s Linda Robson’s face,” followed by a grimacing face emoji.
