Linda Robson attended a screening of Disney’s Wish with her granddaughter, just days after the ITV Loose Women star confirmed her 34-year marriage to Mark Dunford is over

Linda Robson has made her first public appearance since announcing she has split from her husband of 34 years, Mark Dunford.

The Loose Women star was snapped attending a screening of the new Disney kids’ flick, Wish, on Sunday (November 19) with her six-year-old granddaughter, Betsy. Linda, 65, dazzled in a hot pink maxi dress featuring an irregular leopard-print pattern and completed her look with a black leather jacket and matching sandals.

Following months of speculation, the former Birds of a Feather actress confirmed the break-up with window-cleaning company owner, Mark, 63, earlier this week. The couple share two children – Louis, 31, and Roberta, 27.

Speaking to Woman magazine, Linda admitted: “He’s a really good dad and we had some good years, but enough is enough.” Adding that she won’t be dating again any time soon, she continued: “I’m not interested honestly. I can’t be a***d with all that.”

Instead, the star is keeping busy by spending time with family and friends and embarking on her travels. Reassuring fans of her well-being, Linda explained: “I’ve got my family and my kids around me. And I’m going on a cruise with [former co-star] Lesley Joseph in November. I’m keeping busy. I feel fine. I’m just going away on trips all the time.”

Prior to the split, meanwhile, a source told the Sun: “Linda has been quite open behind the scenes about problems in her marriage. They hit a bit of a rough patch before Christmas but they’ve managed to work through it. Linda turned to her family and close friends who supported her through it all.”

Linda previously sparked speculation of marriage woes with several comments on Loose Women – one of which saw her discuss her sex life as she revealed she and Mark had not been intimate for two years. She confessed on the daytime show: “Can I just say I’ve been celibate for two years?” before Denise Welch chimed in to add: “I know, but you’ve got to get with it.”

It came after Linda had dismissed concerns in June – insisting rumours she and Mark were no longer together were “rubbish”. Discussing the speculation, Linda said: “We’re still living together. We both love our kids more than anything else in the world, obviously, you have a few hiccups in every marriage. We’ve been married 33 years so it’s not going to be all plain sailing, but we’re still together at the moment.”

Two months later, however, Linda made a cryptic comment suggesting nuptial struggles were in fact an issue as she discussed how she spent her weekend. Speaking to her fellow Loose ladies, Linda revealed she took herself out for dinner as all the kids had flown the nest and the only people she was home with was her dog and her husband.

“Notice the order!” she joked, as the panel broke out into hysterics.
