ITV Loose Women star applauded after strong six-word message to bullies

Youtube sensation and TikTok star GK Barry failed to mince her words regarding her turbulent childhood as she spoke openly about being disliked at school while on Loose Women

GK Barry recently shared a poignant message to her school bullies as she reflected on her childhood on ITV’s Loose Women.

The YouTube star, whose full name is Grace Keeling, appeared on the award-winning daytime show as a panellist on Thursday afternoon. Sitting alongside TV veterans Kaye Adams, Denise Welch and Frankie Bridge, the ladies discussed whether popular kids have a better time at school.

Sharing her experience Grace told the women that she wasn’t the popular kid but tried to fit in with the in-crowd at her school. The star went on to explain that despite her best efforts she never really blended in with the more popular crowd but relied on her sense of humour to get her through.

Sharing how people often feel that school is the “be all and end all”, GK Barry shared a strong message. She said: “The people that were ever horrible to me, I don’t know what they’re doing now, they’re so irrelevant to me now. And that’s amazing.”

As the audience applauded her stance, the 24-year-old added: “I think the only reason that I became- some would argue- funny, was because I thought ‘I’ve got to have something here. I need something!”

After seeing Grace on the daytime show, fans were loving the fresh change. One viewer said: “I’m actually liking Grace, she’s funny, relaxed and doesn’t seem to take herself too seriously.”

Grace skyrocketed e to fame during the first UK lockdown in 2020, cultivating over a million followers on TikTok in just over a year.
