Annabel Giles passed away last year, and a court decided to leave her estate to her two children in the absence of a will from the TV star

Annabel Giles, who died on November 20 last year at the age of 64, has left an astonishing amount of money to her two children, despite not writing a will.

The former I’m a Celebrity star was diagnosed with stage four Glioblastoma in July 2023, a fast-growing and malignant brain tumour, and underwent “countless radiotherapies” as well as brain surgery. Unfortunately, Annabel passed, survived by her daughter and son.

Annabel’s daughter, Molly, was born in March 1987. The actress shared Molly with her ex-husband – Ultravox lead singer Midge Ure – to whom she was married from 1985 and 1989. Alongside Molly, Annabel had a younger son, Ted, who was born in 1998, and whose father wasn’t publicly revealed by Annabel.

Following Annabel’s death, Molly and Ted received more than £400,000 from the mum’s estate, according to The Sun. Decided in court, documents revealed Annabel’s estate at the time of her death was worth £769,000. After deductions, the remaining funds – an enormous £430,320 – went to her kids.
