Following the announcement of Queen Elizabeth II’s death last week, TV channels have disrupted their usual schedule to allow for rolling coverage ahead of the late monarch’s state funeral later this month

ITV have confirmed their schedule for Tuesday [September 13] amid the ongoing period of mourning for Queen Elizabeth II.

Following the death of Britain’s longest reigning monarch last week, popular daytime TV shows like Lorraine and Loose Women were pulled from ITV’s schedule in the wake of Buckingham Palace’s announcement on September 8 confirmed the Queen had passed away at the age of 96.

Although This Morning with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield aired as usual on Monday morning, Loose Women was shelved once again, as ITV – alongside other broadcasters – continued to focus on the death of the Queen and show special news segments remembering the late monarch.
