I’m A Celeb’s Paul Burrell furiously slams ‘annoying’ Janet Street Porter amid brutal feud

Former Royal butler Paul Burrell has hit back at former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star Janet Street Porter after she claimed that the pair were never friends

I’m A Celebrity… South Africa star Paul Burrell has slammed Loose Women panellist Janet Street Porter amid their ongoing feud.

Janet, 76, mocked Princess Diana’s former Royal butler on the ITV programme after he claimed that they are still friends after appearing on I’m A Celebrity together back in 2004.

Earlier this month, the opinionated Loose Women star claimed Paul had annoyed ITV producers when he appeared on the iconic show.

When host Ruth Langsford asked if Janet and Paul they were still friends, Janet cryptically claimed that she was never friends with him, and merely tolerated him.

In a savage response, she said: “When I say the words, myth versus reality. It was more a question of tolerating him. They thing about Paul is they [the producers] wanted him to talk about being a Royal butler. But he didn’t want to talk about it.”

“I kept getting someone to go to the diary room and saying ‘get him to talk about the corgis,” she added.

After hearing Janet’s response, Paul has now hit back at her claims, calling the Loose Women star ‘annoying’.

“Had Janet Street Porter come down that tunnel, and I’d say this to her face, I might’ve gone out the back door, I might’ve screamed ‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of here’, I think there might’ve been sparks,” Paul clapped back.

“She’s an anti-monarchist, I’m a monarchist and I think there’s a huge gap between myself and Janet Street-Porter. Is she my nemesis? Only if I let her.”

“I think she’d like to wrap her hands around my neck, but there you go, it’s a love-hate relationship.”

The former royal butler and Janet took part back in the ITV jungle series in 2004, both providing some of the most entertaining scenes ever on the show hosted by Ant and Dec.
