McFly star Danny Jones, 38, smiled as he arrived at Brisbane airport on Sunday after flying in from London

Danny Jones is the first I’m A Celebrity 2024 contestant to land down under in Australia ready to head into the jungle.

The McFly star, 38, smiled as he arrived at Brisbane airport on Sunday after flying in from London. The famous face will spend up to three weeks in camp starting next weekend. He will be spending the next month apart from wife Georgia and son Cooper, as well as his bandmates. But he had a guitar amongst his luggage meaning he may have time to write some new songs as the show does not kick off until next weekend.

The full line up has already been reported and will be made official by ITV in the next few days. The camp will include Coleen Rooney, 38, wife of footballer Wayne and also famous for the Wagatha Christie trial with Rebekah Vardy over leaked stories about her family.

Love Island bombshell Maura Higgins is thought to be adding another reality TV show to her belt with an appearance on I’m A Celebrity.
