BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans up in arms over final fix row involving major star

Strictly Come Dancing fans have claimed one finalist’s win is ‘in jeopardy’ amid a fix row ahead of the final of the BBC show on Saturday night

Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts are up in arms over what they perceive as a potential “fix” that could threaten one star of the show’s shot at victory.

The remaining duos are gearing up for an epic two-and-a-half-hour showdown to snatch the much-coveted Glitterball Trophy this weekend.

JLS sensation JB Gill and his partner Lauren Oakley, thespian Sarah Hadland dancing with Vito Coppola, visually impaired comic Chris McCausland paired with Dianne Buswell, and Love Island alum Tasha Ghouri alongside Ajaz Skorjanec will all strut their stuff on the dance floor one final time.

Chart-topper JB is set to dazzle with a Show Dance to a Motown Medley, glide through a Viennese Waltz to the tune of Let’s Go Fly A Kite from Mary Poppins, and then heat things up with a Samba to Mas Que Nada by Sergio Mendes.

However, some viewers have cried foul, claiming it’s “unfair” that JB is the only contestant tackling two technical dances that previously scored perfect 10s.

One fan remarked: “Bit unfair JB is the only one doing two technical 10 dances and some of the hardest ones for beginners at that. I will forgive the judges for giving him a dance that scored highly but not for giving us two 10s and an American smooth.”

Another echoed: “Why has JB been given the technical dances. It seems a bit unfair.” While someone else moaned: “I do not think its fair that one person is expected to do a complex ballroom dance versus a couples do whatever you want we’re going to score you on vibes bonanza. It makes a mockery of the show. The couples choices have been a load of tosh and incredibly watered down post 2018.”

Meanwhile, Miranda’s very own Sarah Hadland is preparing to enchant with her Show Dance to Cabaret by Metropole Orkest, sweep across the floor with an American Smooth to Proud by Heather Small, and get down with a Cha Cha to Madonna’s Like A Prayer.

Tasha is set to hit the dance floor with a Show Dance to Benny Goodman’s Sing, Sing, Sing, express herself with a Couple’s Choice to What About Us by P!nk, and deliver an American Smooth to Lewis Capaldi’s Someone You Loved.

It comes after former TOWIE star Pete Wicks became the latest star to be booted off the BBC show. Pete, 36, and his dance partner Jowita Przystal missed out on a place in the final during Sunday night’s Results Show as they lost the dreaded dance-off for the first time.

While many will miss Pete on their screens, some Strictly fans feel the Celebs Go Dating star lasted longer in the competition than he should of and accused the judges of showing favouritism.
