William First Gives Latest Update on Catherine’s Health After Three Months Of Treatment

Prince William has shared an update on Princess Catherine’s health status after more than three months of treatment at their home in Adelaide Cottage.

During an extended Royal Duty trip in Cornwall, the Prince of Wales visited the site of a new housing project for homeless people in Newquay, which was announced earlier this year.

This is William’s first long-term business trip since Katherine was diagnosed with cancer. For his outing on Thursday, William sported a crisp navy suit with a pale blue button-down shirt.

He smiled widely as he met with coordinators of the innovative housing project.

Princess Katherine and Prince William inherited the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cornwall in September 2022 following the death of Queen Elizabeth. Thursday marked the first time William has visited Cornwall since taking on the new role. In a rare public statement, the Prince of Wales provided reassurance regarding the Princess of Wales’s well-being, indicating that her health is steadily improving following her prolonged period of treatment. ‘May I ask how Princess Kate is doing?’ the project administrator asked in a video shared by Sky News. ‘She’s doing well, thank you,’ Prince William replied. ‘Lovely, and the children as well?’ Smith asked. ‘The children are very jealous that I’m here and that they’re not here as well,’ the prince admitted.

Princess Katherine has been under medical care at Adelaide Cottage since early this year, necessitating a break from public engagements and Royal duties. The nature of her condition has not been disclosed in line with the couple’s desire for privacy regarding personal health matters. Prince William’s disclosure came during a visit to Cornwall as part of his ongoing Royal engagements. Royal fans also believe his time away from his family, especially an overnight stay away from home, can only mean Kate is in good hands and is making progress in her treatment.

In addition, according to a royal expert, Princess Katherine’s recovery appears to be on track as she continues with her treatment and recuperation at home in Windsor following her cancer diagnosis in March. Since the start of the year, Prince William has modified his diary to help support his wife, the Princess of Wales, and their three young children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and six-year-old Prince Louis. In a telling sign that Princess Katherine is making progress with her health, Kensington Palace recently confirmed Prince William will engage in two public engagements which will see him leave Windsor for one night.

Along with visiting Newquay, William is set to spend his first night away from London amid Katherine’s recovery, traveling to the Isles of Scilly on Friday. Wearing a pair of stylish sunglasses to protect his eyes from the Cornish sun, the prince paired a brown blazer with matching brogues and his favorite navy chino trousers as he made his way along the water’s edge. On May 10th, the Prince of Wales will travel to the Isles of Scilly to St. Mary’s Harbor, which is run by the Duchy and handles passengers and vessels. He will spend time with harbor operators before paying a visit to St. Mary’s Community Hospital.

The Princess of Wales revealed in March that she’d been diagnosed with cancer after being hospitalized for an abdominal surgery several months prior. Her last official Royal Engagement was in December 2023. Throughout Katherine’s health woes, William briefly took a step back from his own duties. Adelaide Cottage, located within the grounds of Windsor Castle, allows them the space and tranquility needed for Catherine’s recovery. The Royal couple’s dedication to maintaining a semblance of normalcy amidst health challenges reflects their commitment to duty and family.

Throughout Catherine’s treatment, Prince William has continued to fulfill his Royal responsibilities while also ensuring he is present to support his wife during her recovery journey. As the Duchess continues her recuperation, the royal family and well-wishers alike remain hopeful for her swift and complete recovery. While the specific timeline for the Princess of Wales’s return to public engagements remains uncertain, the latest update from Prince William provides a reassuring glimpse into her progress and the positive direction of her recovery journey.”
