Travis Kelce’s post-season trainer plans to see the player in Florida soon and hopes he’ll bring Taylor Swift with him

Travis Kelce‘s trainer is hoping to see his famous client post season, and he’s hoping the NFL star will bring his even more-famous girlfriend with him.

In an interview with the Palm Beach Post, Andrew Spruill, who has worked with Travis, 34, off and on since the 2013 NFL Combine, said he expects to see the tight end again in 2024.

‘According to him, he’s coming back,’ the sports performance coach said who conducts his training at Johnny O’s gym in Boca Raton, Florida.

Travis usually rents a house in the tony town for two months for his sessions with Andrew.

‘I went up for two games to go see him. I trust he’ll be back, especially if he wants to keep playing at the age he is. He needs to get in the gym and make sure he’s ready.’

The trainer posted a photo of himself, Travis and lady-love Taylor Swift, 34, from a post game party Andrew attended after going up to watch his famous client play.

The Game Speed Trainer founder revealed he’s expecting the Cruel Summer singer to accompany Travis to South Florida.

‘I’ll see her next month,’ he said.

‘I met her twice. Maybe I can talk to her about her workout routine and see if she needs help.’

Referring to Taylor’s interview with Time magazine for its Person of the Year article with her, he said, ‘I read where she talked about it, the different things she does to work out. She has a workout routine where she runs on a treadmill and sprints while trying to sing her songs.’

The Grammy winner is an elite athlete in her own right.

Explaining her training for her Eras tour three-and-a-half-hour performance, she told Time she began training six months before kicking it off in the tour opened in March.

‘Every day I would run on the treadmill, singing the entire setlist out loud,’ the Love Story artist explained. ‘Fast for fast songs, and a jog or a fast walk for slow songs.’

The trainer is well aware of Taylor’s intense workout to keep her in shape for her 3.5 hour concerts, but thinks he may be able to offer her some tweaks. ‘Maybe I can talk to her about her workout routine and see if she needs help’ (Pictured in Foxborough, MA in July 2018)

She also put in three months of dance training with famed choreographer Mandy Moore.

‘I wanted to get it in my bones,’ she explained about the dance routines.

‘I wanted to be so over-rehearsed that I could be silly with the fans, and not lose my train of thought.’

The hitmaker has also changed her backstage persona. Instead of touring like a ‘frat boy,’ she has cut back on drinking. ‘Doing that show with a hangover, I don’t want to know that world.’

Taylor is heading to Tokyo, Australia and Singapore in February, before making her way to Europe, and will be traveling on the Eras tour for much of 2024 and it’s unclear if Travis will be able to join her on the road

Travis, who has suffered from some injuries in the 2023 season, always approaches training with humility, according to his coach.

‘A lot of guys like him are so good, but when they’re training, they’re still in the, “I-don’t-know-anything” mode,’ Andrew explained. ‘They never think they already know it all.’

‘As good as he is, guys like him are still in the gym, listening, taking notes and getting coached. Being so coachable, on top of their athletic ability, it’s a perfect recipe for great players.’
