Watch: Travis Kelce Opens Up to Admit He’s Happy with Taylor Swift Admits Rising Fame Brings Challenges

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has recently opened up about the challenges of fame and

his relationship with global superstar Taylor Swift amidst criticism surrounding their romance.

The tight end, who has been dating Swift since the summer, insists that they block out the noise and focus on their happiness.

In a press conference on Friday, Kelce, who has been making headlines both on and off the field, acknowledged the challenges that come with rising fame. “I mean the only thing we’ve talked about is as long as we’re happy we can’t listen to anything that’s outside noise,” he said, addressing the media.

Kelce’s rise to fame reached new heights in 2023 after winning his second Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs and making appearances on shows like Saturday Night Live. His relationship with Taylor Swift has also been in the spotlight, with the pop star attending several of his games.

However, their romance has faced scrutiny, with some fans and analysts suggesting that it has affected Kelce’s performance on the field. Kelce addressed these criticisms, admitting that the attention surrounding their relationship does come with its challenges.

“It’s just the outside noise and dealing with everyone else’s perspective of things,” Kelce said. “You hear it through the media throughout the season when I haven’t had success or things aren’t going well that perhaps we aren’t focused.”

Despite the criticism, Kelce insists that he and Swift block out the noise and focus on their relationship. “As long as we’re happy, we can’t listen to the outside noise,” he added.

Swift’s presence at Kelce’s games has garnered attention, with some referring to her as a distraction. However, Kelce’s teammates, including Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, have shown support for the couple.

“Travis has always been Travis,” Mahomes said. “It’s been cool to watch for me because he has all that attention but he’s just been himself the whole time.”

As Kelce prepares for Sunday’s AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens, speculation about his future in the NFL has arisen. While some suggest that this season could be his last, Kelce shows no signs of slowing down.

“I don’t feel like getting off the roller coaster anytime soon,” Kelce said. “I want to win Sunday’s AFC Championship more than anyone I’ve ever wanted in my life.”

As Kelce focuses on the game, all eyes will be on him and his relationship with Swift, both on and off the field.
