Too cute! Everything the McFly lads have said about Danny Jones’ I’m A Celeb victory

Our lives are now considerably more boring after I’m A Celeb came to an end on Sunday with the crowning of 2024’s king of the jungle, McFly’s Danny Jones.

Today feels a lot darker without the yearly embrace of I’m A Celeb to keep us busy in the evenings. Sure, we can look back at tear-inducing moments like editing errors and Rebekah Vardy’s ongoing statements, but there’s just no beating a live bushtucker trial or Danny Jones’ face on our TV.

Of course, long before he touched down in Australia Danny was one part of McFly and later a member of supergroup McBusted, releasing absolute bangers such as Star Girl, Obviously, and Five Colours In Her Hair. Naturally, Tom, Harry and Dougie have shared their congratulations with their bestie who is undoubtedly cramming his face with carbs and catching up on his Instagram notifications.

1. Tom Fletcher

Tom Fletcher, Danny’s fellow judge on The Voice, took to Instagram on Monday to point out Danny’s insane 2024 winning streak. In this year alone, he arose victorious as Piranha on The Masked Singer, won with Ava Mannings on The Voice, and is now the king of the jungle in I’m A Celeb. He’s got a lot to live up to in 2025!

“What a year @dannyjonesofficial,” Tom wrote alongside some celebratory emojis.

As the final was running live on Sunday night, Tom was posting Instagram story after Instagram story calling for people at home to vote. He even posted a best bits reel after Danny’s victory and has continued to post throughout much of Monday. 20 friend points to Tom!

2. Dougie Poynter

Dougie Pynter

Not to be outdone by Tom, Dougie Poynter, who is an I’m A Celeb winner himself, posted consistently about Danny during his I’m A Celeb tenure.

“I was actually really disappointed because I was voting for Coleen,” he joked on his Instagram story after Danny’s victory. “Whatever, I think she was the deserving winner.”

He added in another story: “I’m joking. Of course, I’m f*****g stoked.”

Poking fun at Busted, the official McFly Instagram posted a meme that suggested they were better than their counterparts because of their two I’m A Celeb wins. All of the McFly boys have since reposted it, messy messy men.

3. Harry Judd

Harry Judd

After Danny Jones beat Coleen Rooney for the crown, McFly’s Harry Judd posted a similar meme as Tom’s alongside the caption: “2024 is @dannyjonesofficial year!! LONG LIVE KING MUSH.”

Though he should have been sound asleep because of morning plans, a shirtless Harry streamed the final from his bed as he celebrated on his Instagram story. Yes, you read that right. The following celebrations were unfortunately silent as his wife Izzy was asleep next to him. Nonetheless, he seemed very much overjoyed to have another of the McFly lads in the Australian royal family.
