The best part of I’m A Celeb is getting a spinoff TV show and I couldn’t be more excited

The best part is anyone can apply!

If you’re a lifelong I’m A Celeb fan, you may want to sit down when I tell you this – the Celebrity Cyclone is getting its OWN SPINOFF TV SHOW. Are you kidding me?!

One of the best parts of watching I’m A Celeb is towards the end when the remaining celebrities get stuck into the iconic Celebrity Cyclone trial. If you’re unfamiliar with the cyclone, it’s basically a massive slope blasted with water and wind machines that the contestants have to work their way through while picking up huge stars. Ant and Dec have even done it themselves!

This year, ITV producers will, for the first time, use the set to test out some ideas for a spinoff TV series – including a show which could cast members of the public.

According to an ITV insider who spoke to The Sun, hosts Ant and Dec will not be involved in the spinoff.

A TV insider said: “A spin-off show for the Cyclone makes absolute sense and across the industry, it has always been considered a TV hit in waiting. Cyclone could evolve and use the core basis of the water slide to become a wider show. If the testing proves successful there is every intention to look at a full series in the future.” OMG!

The source continued: “Cyclone is such a hugely popular part of I’m A Celeb that show bosses felt it was worth exploring ideas to see if anything might work as a stand-alone show. They’ll be looking at all aspects of the game.”

If you’ve ever angrily waved your arms in front of your TV screen and said “I could do better than that,” now is your chance to prove it. However, it may be more lethal than it looks on TV. Dec spoke out about his 2012 Celebrity Cyclone attempt in 2022 and said the challenge left him with a serious shoulder injury taking part which took six months of physiotherapy to recover from. Although he still described it as “fun times though guys, fun times.”
