Meghan Markle made an impressive return to the spotlight on Monday, following weeks of absence.

The 41-year-old made a surprise appearance in a video tribute to her close friend Misan Harriman, and all eyes were on her new look.

Meghan unveiled a sleek new look by styling her long hair poker straight. Fans were quick to note her strong resemblance to her royal sister-in-law, Princess Kate.

The Duchess appeared to have lightened her hair with a warm honey tint akin to Kate’s, and she wore radiant natural makeup, which the Princess also loved.

“She looks like Kate Middleton! Wow!” one royal fan remarked. A second added: “She’s beginning to look a lot like the Princess of Wales…”

Since Meghan’s engagement to Prince Harry was announced in November 2017, comparisons have been made between the two women.

And their style appears to be very similar, with matching plaid jackets, sheer necklines, color-block dresses, and royal blue cocktail dresses.

While relations between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family remain difficult, Meghan did speak highly of Kate shortly after her engagement to Harry.

The couple chatted with the BBC immediately after he proposed, and they were asked about Meghan’s introduction to members of the royal family.

“It was exciting, I mean I’ve – you know I’d been seeing her for a period of time when I – literally didn’t tell anybody at all,” Harry replied. “And then William was longing to meet her and so was Catherine.

“So, you know, being our neighbours, we managed to get that in a couple of – well quite a few times now and Catherine has been absolutely…

“She’s been wonderful,” Meghan interjected. “… amazing,” the Prince agreed. “As has William as well, you know, fantastic support.”
