It would be a “smart move” for Meghan Markle to return to acting, an expert has claimed.
It has been long been speculated that Meghan Markle could be set to make a return to the acting world, with one PR expert stating that it is something “she’s good at”.
The Duchess of Sussex, who is best known for previously portraying Rachel Zane in the US drama Suits, made the decision to step away from her long-standing career around the same time that her engagement to Prince Harry was announced.
The late Queen is said to have granted Meghan the chance to continue her acting career, but Meghan herself claimed in their engagements interview that she not “giving anything up, I just see it as a change”.
GoUp’s Edward Coram-James has told Express.co.uk: “Getting back into acting could be a smart move for Meghan. It’s something she’s proven she’s good at, and it would allow her to reconnect with the hardworking, talented persona she had before becoming a royal. While it might seem like a step back, with the right roles, it could set her up for a lasting career in entertainment.”
He added: “But Meghan’s also got the entrepreneurial drive and passion for causes she cares about, so she could carve out a unique space that blends both. She might also dive deeper into charity work, especially around women’s empowerment, education, and social justice — issues she’s deeply passionate about. This wouldn’t just show her authenticity but would allow her to make a real difference. Whether it’s acting, advocacy, or a combination of both, Meghan has the chance to shape her legacy on her terms – and that’s a win for everyone.”
