Prince William’s reaction to flying an RAF helicopter as Colonel of the regiment once held by Prince Harry

His Majesty King Charles appointed his eldest son as the Colonel-in-Chief of The Army Air Corps, the combat aviation arm of the British Army, at a ceremony held at the Army Aviation Centre in Hampshire.

Following the ceremony, Prince William departed the army base in a black helicopter, accompanied by his new unit.

Kensington Palace put out this tweet to mark the occasion today
