Prince Harry is set to attend another solo engagement in New York next week, however, the event is set to clash with a key event in the Royal Family’s calendar.

It has been confirmed Prince Harry will return to New York on December 4, at the New York Times DealBook Conference to speak at the event.

On the same day, Meghan Markle is expected to attend the 2024 Paley Honors Fall Gala, where the couple’s friend, Tyler Perry is being bestowed with The Paley Honors Award, according to the Mirror.

The timing of the events has been questioned yet again, as the two royals are conducting engagements on the same day King Charles will receive The Amir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, for a two-day state visit from December 3 to December 4.

It is also be the first engagement of its kind in which Princess Kate will participate in, since her cancer diagnosis, as she is set to greet Emir and Her Highness, Sheikha Jawaher, at their residence, on behalf of The King when they arrive.

Prince Harry was last in New York in September conducting solo engagements to support various charities and businesses including African Parks, The HALO Trust, and The Diana Award. Meghan Markle meanwhile, was spotted at a gala supporting LA Children’s Hospital and she also separately attended a digital wellness event.

It comes as the pair have set tongues wagging with a string of increasingly separate public appearances over recent months since they embarked on a joint tour of Colombia in the summer.

Despite the pair’s recent solo appearances, the couple plan to both host the Winter Invictus Games in February 2025 and Meghan Markle has been an avid supporter of her husband’s charity initiative since they began dating.
