Prince Harry ‘furious’ and blames Prince William for failing to keep Princess Diana’s house after receiving news that Althorp Estate officially belongs to another royal

Prince Harry Expresses Frustration Over Althorp Estate Inheritance Issue

Recent reports have surfaced revealing Prince Harry’s disappointment and criticism directed at Prince William for failing to secure Princess Diana’s ancestral home, the Althorp Estate, for their family. The estate, located in Northampton, UK, holds significant sentimental value as it serves as both Princess Diana’s childhood home and her final resting place.

Prince Harry’s frustration stems from the deep emotional connection he has with Althorp Estate, where Princess Diana spent her formative years and where she is buried. The estate, owned by the Spencer family for over five centuries, is more than just a piece of property for Harry; it represents a tangible link to his mother and her legacy.

According to sources close to the Duke of Sussex, he had always hoped that the estate would remain within the immediate family, possibly as a shared legacy between him and Prince William. However, recent developments have dashed those hopes. The estate is reportedly set to be transferred to another royal, which has left Harry feeling betrayed and let down by his brother. The decision, which was ultimately beyond William’s control, has nonetheless fueled Harry’s sense of alienation from the royal family.

This latest episode adds another layer to the ongoing tensions between the two brothers. Harry’s frustration is not just about the loss of Althorp but also about what it symbolizes—another missed opportunity to honor their mother’s memory in a meaningful way. Friends of the Duke have indicated that Harry believes William could have done more to secure the estate, which has only deepened the rift between them.

The emotional weight of losing Althorp is compounded by the fact that Harry sees it as part of Diana’s enduring legacy. For him, the estate represents more than just a physical location; it’s a place where the memory of his mother is most alive, and where her influence can be felt most strongly. The news that Althorp will pass into the hands of another royal has left Harry feeling not only disappointed but also further distanced from his royal roots.

As the rift between the brothers continues to widen, the issue of Althorp Estate serves as yet another painful reminder of the complicated dynamics within the royal family. For Prince Harry, the loss of the estate is not just a matter of inheritance but a personal loss that resonates deeply, adding to the ongoing struggles he faces in reconciling his past with his present.

Prince Harry and Prince William seemingly avoided each other at a family event as the feud between the two royal brothers carries on.

Harry, 39, and William, 42, both attended a memorial service for their mother’s brother-in-law, Lord Robert Fellowes, on Thursday, according to the BBC.

The Duke of Sussex departed from his home in Montecito, California, to join his family, including the Prince of Wales, at St. Mary’s Church in Snettisham, England.
