EXCLUSIVE: Prince Harry is briefly back in the UK to attend an awards ceremony for the charity WellChild, of which he is a patron.

Prince Harry has adopted his brother Prince William’s “signature pose” after he touched down in the UK, a body language expert has exclusively told Express.co.uk.

The Duke of Sussex has been pictured in London without his wife Meghan Markle, 43, while attending an awards ceremony for the charity Wellchild, which aims to help seriously ill children and their families access the support they need.

Despite no longer being a working member of the Royal Family, the prince remains a patron of the charity and attended the ceremony this year in person.

Body language expert Judi James said Harry appears to be full of “happiness” at the ceremony as he gives off a “royal demeanour”.

Judi exclusively told Express.co.uk: “This is a very royal-looking appearance from Harry, whose body language use of pace, energy, and relaxed-looking charm makes him appear delighted to be back in the UK, even for a fleeting visit.”

She continued: “He walks in with a keen smile, smoothing his tie with one hand before offering some firm handshakes, leaning forward to suggest an enthusiasm to meet and engage with his hosts.

“His smile in the official photo reaches both his mouth and his eyes, making it look like a congruent expression of authentic happiness.”

The body language expert also told Express.co.uk that Harry has developed a similar pose to the one used by his brother Prince William at royal engagements.

Judi continued: “And one last royal touch: as he poses in the line-up he adopts a signature pose of his brother William, standing with his hands clasped in front of his torso in the fig-leaf position.

“It would be clutching at some very, very flimsy straws to suggest this might be a sign of any thawing between the brothers but as a subliminal signal, this mirroring plus his regal demeanour could suggest he’s not unhappy to be back in his princely role again.”

The UK visit comes after Prince Harry’s recent solo engagements in New York City, which saw the prince leave his home in California just days after his 40th birthday celebrations.
