Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have now become a “joke in the United States”, a royal commentator claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently in Nigeria on tour. It has been likened to a royal tour, but received backlash as the pair are no longer working members of the Royal Family.
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield told GB News that Meghan and Harry need to work on their image as they have “become a joke”.
She accused the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of “still cashing in on the Royal Family name and titles”.

“I think in general, yes, the objective of this trip is to appear like they are still on the level of the real working royals,” she explained.
“They’ve become a joke in the States specifically, but also in the UK, and they need to improve their image for the Sussex brand as a whole.”
Before visiting Nigeria, Prince Harry made a brief stop in the UK to attend an event to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

However, he did meet his father King Charles, who revealed he was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
Schofield told GB News: “I do think that the King should engage in peace talks once Prince Harry does some maturing.”
