Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘clown show’ leaves Firm ‘hanging on’
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were described as a “clown show” by a royal commentator.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were branded a “clown show” by a royal commentator who claimed they have left the British monarchy “hanging by a thread”.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made various headlines over the years with their explosive claims against the Firm ever since they quit their royal duties and moved to the US in 2020.
The pair have been estranged from the Royal Family, with their rift deepening even more in recent years following the release of their Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, and the duke’s memoir, Spare.
Now journalist and author Tina Brown has claimed the monarchy “hangs by a thread” and that thread is Catherine, the Princess of Wales after the departure of the “whole Sussex clown show”.
She told Times Radio: “The monarchy hangs by a thread and that thread is Catherine. Because she is the most beloved of the next generation. And with the departure of Harry and the whole kind of Sussex clown show, the Waleses are it.”
