Their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey last year where they accused an unnamed royal of racist remarks really seemed to damage ties. They’ve since moved to California and settled into life outside of the Firm.

However, according to inside sources, King Charles is not at all pleased with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s ongoing commentary about the royals from across the pond. While they say they want privacy, they certainly don’t keep a low profile! Harry’s upcoming memoir also has the palace on edge, with fears it may contain damaging allegations.

So in a surprising move, King Charles has issued a royal directive that effectively replaces Harry and Meghan as the public faces of the younger generation of the monarchy. Taking over their prior roles and responsibilities will be none other than the King’s own nephew, Viscount Severn James Wessex, and his wife Lady Louise.
