Love Island winner Millie Court has exposed one of the best kept secrets when it comes to avoiding bikini rash during her time on the ITV2 dating show

Watching the ladies saunter around the Love Island villa in barely there bikinis, it perhaps understandable to wonder how they cope with the trials and tribulations of female beauty routines.

But during a recent TikTok Q&A, Millie Court, 27, has finally exposed one secret – and that was how she managed to avoid a bikini shaving rash. The winner of the 2021 series was being interviewed for Grazia’s 10 Hot Questions on TikTok and her step by step guide is sure to have many rushing to the beauty stores.

When asked what hair removal method she used during her time on the ITV2 show, she replied: “Do you know what? I have a little trick that I use when I shave to get a very nice, clean bikini line – no shaving rash.” She went on to explain that she washed, then shaved with warm water. Put there is a lot more to it, it seems.

She continued: “Put on – I use conditioner, so I was using Boots conditioner (in the villa)- put that down there…And then as soon as you’ve shaved, run over with cold water so that your pores close… at the end of the shower.” She then added: “Then the trick is to put on aloe vera. So I had a big tub of aloe vera and told all the girls about it. You put it on, and it’s just like a cooling, soothing product, and didn’t have any bikini rash! So that’s my little tip for you guys.”

Series after series, viewers see the hopefuls looking their absolute best and for Millie she was not prepared to take any chances and so brought her entire make-up bag with her. She told fans: “So, I took my whole make-up bag- obviously! And my favourite products that I bought with me were the Two Faced Born This Way Foundation, NARS Creamy Concealer, with NARS blush, MAC bronzer and then my lip. My staple lip was the MAC lip liner in Spice, Fenty Gloss Bomb and finished it off with Urban Decay All Nighter.”

While on the show, Millie found love with hottie Liam Reardon. But not long after leaving the villa, the couple’s relationship failed to stand the test of time and the pair split in July 2022. But by August the following year they confirmed they were back together.

Millie confirmed their reunion after posting a picture of them at the Victorious Festival in Portsmouth. She captioned the post: “Before and after my attempted disguise…” And their followers and close pals were quick to comment. One person said: “”YAYYYYYYY BACK TOGETHER!!!!!! Soooooo happy to see this post!!!!!!!” Another added: “Love this, so glad you two are back together.”

And Millie’s flatmate Chloe Burrows, who appeared alongside them on the series, simply said : “Mum and Dad.” And within seconds, her post sparked speculation that Millie was expecting the couple’s first child. But this was soon proved to not be true.

Recently, however, engagement rumours have been rife over the last few months. And during an interview with OK magazine, she said that an engagement has been discussed but their next step is to buy a house – in Cardiff. She told the publication: ” We need to get a house together before we get engaged. It’s a discussion we’re having at the moment and I think it’s leaning more towards me moving into Cardiff with Liam. I don’t know yet, but he’s done Essex already so I think it’s only right that it’s my turn to move to Wales.”
