Meghan and Harry’s Plan To Destroy the British Monarchy Didn’t Count on This Happening

After months of uncertainty, Prince Harry has decided to attend the coronation of his father, King Charles III, at Westminster Abbey on May 6th. However, his wife, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, will not be present and will remain in Montecito, California. Harry’s visit to London is expected to be brief, and it comes amid increasing tensions with his brother, Prince William, and his wife, the Princess of Wales. Reports from London suggest that many members of the royal family will be keeping their distance from Harry, who has been increasingly critical of the royals following the release of his controversial memoir, “Spare.”

Both Harry and Meghan have seen a significant decline in popularity in the United Kingdom since the release of “Spare” and their highly publicized Netflix documentary, which debuted last November. In fact, they have become two of the most disliked celebrity figures in the UK today. Their standing has also taken a hit in the United States, where the satirical show “South Park” delivered a scathing parody of the royal couple in a recent episode.

The decision by Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, not to attend the coronation of King Charles III can be attributed to several factors. One significant consideration was the potential risk of facing public backlash or negative reactions on the streets of London, which could have had a detrimental impact on her public image and brand. Additionally, the prospect of being relegated to a secondary status as “non-working royals” during the coronation celebrations, which would have denied them the privilege of appearing on the Buckingham Palace balcony, likely played a role in her decision.

It is worth noting that the relationship between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the British monarchy has experienced a significant strain over the past year. Their criticisms and allegations against the royal family have faced substantial backlash and negative reactions from both the British and American public. Furthermore, their increasing involvement in political activism has alienated a significant portion of the American population.

The situation surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has taken a significant turn, with growing calls in London, including from some members of Parliament, to strip them of their royal titles. While King Charles III has not publicly addressed this issue, reports suggest that discussions have taken place at the highest levels of the palace.

The rift between the Sussexes and the royal family can be traced back to their controversial 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, which was perceived as a declaration of war against the monarchy. Their unproven allegations of racism within the royal household have been harmful to the institution and have resulted in significant tensions between them and other royals.

Consequently, Harry and Meghan find themselves almost completely isolated from the larger royal family and are viewed as pariahs by a significant portion of the British public. While the king has extended an olive branch by including Harry in the coronation, there is no sign of reconciliation between him and his brother, Prince William.

The situation highlights the ongoing challenges and complexities surrounding the royal family’s dynamics and public perception.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have effectively severed ties with the British royal family and their future involvement appears highly unlikely. Despite retaining their royal titles and the associated prestige, they have essentially become exiles residing in California. Their primary focus now seems to be on building substantial personal wealth through various media deals and production ventures, potentially becoming part of the Montecito elite.

However, their standing within the British monarchy is expected to be negligible. Any aspirations they may have had to undermine the thousand-year-old institution of the monarchy have proven unsuccessful, and are unlikely to succeed in the future. The Harry and Meghan saga can be viewed as a modern-day tragedy, a narrative characterized by narcissism, hubris, and greed. It represents the unfortunate downfall of a once-beloved couple who have burned bridges on both sides of the Atlantic in pursuit of a contentious vendetta.
