Lorraine Kelly demands ITV ‘bring back’ Coleen Rooney reality series as she ‘stands to make millions’

Lorraine Kelly has had her say on Coleen Rooney’s next career move after the mum of four finished in second place on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

Lorraine Kelly is all for ITV reviving the reality TV gem Coleen’s Real Women, following Coleen Rooney’s impressive run on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, where she was pipped to the post by McFly’s Danny Jones. Chatting on her show, Lorraine, aged 65, pondered over what’s next for the 38-year-old mother of four.

She chatted with a pro about Coleen’s prospects, including whispers of a ‘bidding war’ between streaming heavyweights eager to snap up a deal with her.

The expert told Lorraine: “I think it’s going to be Coleen Rooney. She came across really well in the jungle. There’s rumours that Amazon and Disney are in a bit of a bidding war. Offering up to maybe five million pounds, for a fly-on-the-wall style, behind-the-scenes look at her super Cheshire mansion. Life at home with the Rooneys.”

Lorraine joked: “Like the Osbournes, but maybe not like the Osbournes.”

The expert replied: “Four kids as well. I think we saw a little bit of what she’s like at home in the jungle. But, in terms of the Rooneys, it won’t be the first time we see them on TV. Coleen did an ITV series called Coleen’s Real Women.”

“I don’t remember that! ” Lorraine exclaimed, surprised. “Could always re-run it now. Why not?! Why not indeed.”

Coleen’s Real Women, which aired on ITV in January 2008, saw Coleen on a quest to find natural, beautiful women for modelling gigs, reports the Daily Record.

The buzz around Coleen’s potential TV career has grown after it was reported that she was offered over £1.5 million for her stint in the Australian jungle, making her the highest paid I’m A Celebrity contestant ever. Her appearance on the ITV show won her a legion of fans at home, and it appears she could be ready to capitalise on her newfound popularity.

Coleen, who is married to former footballer Wayne Rooney, already has her next move planned. It’s been revealed that she is set to launch a personal product line with Applied Nutrition in January.

The mother-of-four signed a profitable contract with the wellness company before her jungle journey, having frequently promoted the company’s products on her Instagram account. Sources have suggested Rooney cleverly brought the brand’s hair, skin, and nails supplements into the jungle as part of the deal.

Lorraine airs weekdays from 9am on ITV and ITVX.
