Kylie Kelce speaks out against being labeled a WAG in the NFL "Put some respect on my name"

The couple got married in 2018 and have three daughters: Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett. However, there’s something that bothers Kylie when people talk about her. She doesn’t like it when she and other women are referred to by a common nickname – WAG, which stands for wives and girlfriends. She feels that it brings along a lot of negative stereotypes that she doesn’t want to be associated with. It’s something that really bothers her.

Kylie explained, “I think, for the most part, there’s a stereotype of WAGs… That everything is designer. That they are with their significant others for reasons other than that they truly love them-honestly, that’s the part that deeply bothers me.” The issue came up during a resurfaced New Heights podcast episode that was shared on Reddit. Her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce, asked her how she felt about being called a WAG. Kylie didn’t hold back and simply said, “I don’t like it.” Travis assured her, “We’re not calling you that,” while Jason jokingly added, “I am,” and they all had a good laugh about it.

Kylie stands out from the typical image of wives and girlfriends in the NFL. You won’t catch her sporting designer outfits like many others do. The only time she’s been seen in fancy suites is when she and Jason met Taylor Swift. Otherwise, she prefers to be with the fans in the stands, proudly wearing her Eagles gear.

The recent buzz on social media was about Kylie’s stunning outfit at a fashion show, which had everyone talking. In summary, Kylie Kelce isn’t your typical NFL spouse. She’s not into the glitz and glamour often associated with being a WAG. Instead, she prefers to keep it real and be right there with the fans, showing her support for the Eagles.
