Kate Middleton reveals she’s tired of leaving at the palace after being treated poorly by william
William, Prince of Wales, shared a brief update on Catherine, Princess of Wales’ health during a visit to St.

Mary’s Community Hospital in the UK on May 10th. He spoke with hospital director Tracy Smith, who relayed to journalists, according to the Associated Press, that William mentioned, “She’s getting along admirably, much appreciated.”

Catherine, who was previously known as Kate Middleton, revealed in late March that she had been diagnosed with cancer and has since remained mostly out of the public eye.

She is currently undergoing preventative chemotherapy after being diagnosed with cancer, following a major abdominal surgery in January.

Initially, her condition was thought to be non-cancerous, but post-surgery tests revealed the presence of cancer.

In her March 22, 2024, video statement, Catherine explained that the cancer diagnosis came as a significant shock to her and her family. She noted the importance of managing the situation privately for the sake of their young children, George, Charlotte, and Louis. Catherine reassured viewers that she is well and getting stronger every day, but she also requested time, space, and privacy as she undergoes treatment, focusing on making a full recovery.

Buckingham Palace announced on February 5th that King Charles III had also been diagnosed with cancer after undergoing a procedure for benign prostate enlargement. While the specific type of cancer was not disclosed, it was clarified that it was not prostate cancer.

Kensington Palace’s statement on Catherine indicated that her surgery was successful and that she would stay in the hospital for 10 to 14 days before returning home to continue her recovery. Based on current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter. The palace emphasized that it would only provide significant updates and apologized for any upcoming commitments that the Princess had to defer.

After returning to Windsor on January 29th to continue her recovery, Catherine has been making good progress. A palace source informed NBC News in mid-January that William would also defer appearances and official duties while his wife was in the hospital and during her initial recovery at home. Following the surgery and before the public announcement of her cancer diagnosis, there was widespread speculation and rumors about Catherine’s health.

In her video statement, Catherine did not specify the type of cancer she is being treated for but mentioned it was discovered after abdominal surgery in January. The most common types of cancer detected through such surgery are typically gastrointestinal or related to the genitourinary system, according to Dr. Ben Ho, head of precision oncology.

The royal family’s transparency and updates about Catherine’s condition have been met with public support and sympathy as they navigate this challenging period.
