Kate Middleton revealed Prince William’s bad habit in brutal five-word slip-up
The Princess of Wales once let slip one of her husband William‘s bad habits – and many of us can relate.
At the time, the royal couple were on a visit to an RAF base in Cyprus in 2018. During their time there, they opened up a new recreation facility and it was then that Kate revealed her pet peeve. As William warned the recruits “Keep the pizza off the sofas”, Kate quickly retorted: “You’re a nightmare with that.”
It’s no secret that the parents-of-three enjoy the occasional takeaway. During an interview with BBC Radio 1 in 2017, Kate was asked if the family ever ordered takeaways – and if so, what was her favourite.
The Princess replied: “Absolutely, and curry, definitely!” She further added: “It doesn’t usually get ordered to the palace, we tend to go and pick it up,” before jokingly adding “not ourselves!”
Kate also revealed that, while she likes spicy dishes, William doesn’t share her love of hot curries. And William told ex-football star Peter Crouch on his podcast in 2020 that he is “not a vindaloo man put it that way” and prefers a chicken masala.
It’s also known that the late Queen was partial to a very British takeaway – and would send her footman to pick up her £10 order. An insider previously confirmed to Fabulous: “She very occasionally treated herself to fish and chips when at Balmoral. A footman is dispatched to get it from the local town of Ballater.”
