Jenny McCarthy has opened up about seeing ‘so much sex going on’ in the Playboy mansion in the early 1990s, but confessed it was ‘gross.’

The 51-year-old is now a major star these days on The Masked Singer but before finding TV fame, the pinup was a nude model for Hugh Hefner’s Playboy magazine.

And this week the blonde bombshell dished on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen about what it was really like at the famed Playboy mansion back in the early 1990s.

‘There was still so much sex going on with like gross celebrities in the grotto area, stuff like that,’ the wife of singer Donnie Wahlberg revealed.

‘I went to the parties, so I got to see a lot of that action,’ she continued, before being asked whether there was a ‘sexy vibe’ at those events.

‘Unfortunately, they would invite like… for every 20 guys, there was one girl. The guys were just in heaven. But also, the guys were also 70 years old,’ added the cousin of movie star Melissa McCarthy.

‘There was only hot women and the ugliest dudes. They were like really, really old. It was like Viagra central.’

Pauly Shore and Jack Nicholson were regulars at the mansion.

Jenny also revealed how she became a Playboy model.

McCarthy said she used to work at a Polish grocery store which sold Playboy.

She noticed the Anna Nicole Smith cover and felt she could do the same.

‘I decided to just go to the Playboy building and ask, in Chicago. I said, “How do people become Playmates?” They said, “They don’t walk in. You have to send a photo,”‘ McCarthy shared.

When she was waiting for the elevator to make her exit, an editor walked by and asked if she just wanted ‘to throw on a bikini’ and be a part of a photoshoot they were doing.

At the time, Hefner was married to Kimberly and they had kids; seen at the premiere of Star Wars: Special Edition in 1997 in LA

‘I said, “Okay.” I thought, “I didn’t shave, this is bad.” I went and put on my bathing suit and went to the photographer and literally, they’re like, “Pose,”‘ she recalled.

‘I did like a mug shot [pose], then I took the bus home. By the time I got home, there was a voicemail on my answering machine that said, we want to test you for Miss October. By the next year, I was Playmate of the Year.’

Her mom was mad but then forgave her when Jenny paid off all their bills with the money.

This comes after Jenny showed off her killer fashion sense during a press day in New York City last week.

The 51-year-old blonde bombshell was clad in a plunging black dress that showed off her busty chest.

The frock boasted a solid material layered over lace and included a fringed skirt.

McCarthy added black fishnet tights and rounded out the sleeveless number with a pair of chunky black lace-up boots.

Her bright locks were parted down the center and cut in a sleek, straight, shoulder-grazing bob.

She also took to Instagram.

Sharing outtakes from the latest episode of The Masked Singer, she wrote in the caption: ‘Don’t miss tonight’s episode of @maskedsingerfox #wizardofoz theme night. It’s SO much fun.

‘If you have kids, it’s a must watch! Promise.’

She added a red heart emoji, plus the hashtags ‘#themaskedsinger #gamenight #familynight.’

McCarthy is married to Mark Wahlberg’s brother Donnie Wahlberg, 51.

Sparks first flew between the television personality and the New Kids On The Block star during a joint appearance on Watch What Happens Live in 2012.

The following year, Wahlberg appeared on McCarthy’s eponymous VH1 talk show in March 2013.

A few months later, they were officially dating and making red carpet appearances together, and in April 2014, Wahlberg proposed.

They tied the knot in August in a ceremony featured on their A&E reality show: Donnie Loves Jenny.
