“F*ck the Rock”: Dwayne Johnson’s Feud with Cody Rhodes’ Family Reaches a Boiling Point Ahead of WrestleMania Showdown
It’s about to go down in the squared circle, and we can’t wait to see how it all unfolds at WrestleMania!
Well, it seems the families are now also involved. There is a lot of tension between the family of WWE superstar Dwayne Johnson and Cody Rhodes as WrestleMania season gets closer. Okay, now that the two competitors are getting ready to square off in the ring, the long-simmering rivalry has reached a fever pitch.
Dustin Rhodes had a big night on Sunday, March 24. Rhodes Wrestling Academy, his wrestling school, held its tenth Student Showcase, which featured trainees from his facility and his nephews Wayne and Wyatt Rhodes in their first appearances.

In his opening remarks, Dustin Rhodes, 54, discussed the impending event before turning his attention to The Rock and saying, in a succinct but impactful manner, “F*** The Rock”. His attack on Johnson came after The Rock promised to punish Dustin Rhodes’ younger brother extra harshly.
The Rock’s ‘Not so sweet’ Words for ‘Mama Rhodes’ Ahead of WrestleMania
Dwayne Johnson, 51, is currently enjoying a phenomenal heel run in the WWE. Once again, the Brahma Bull is making some incredible promos while sporting his a*s-kicking avatar. On the opening night of WrestleMania 40, The Rock is expected to compete in a Tag Team match against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
Thus, he is cruelly exchanging his firearms with Rhodes. The Rock intensified his rivalry when he ridiculed “Mama Rhodes”, the mother of Cody Rhodes, for claiming that her son would give her “The Rock’s belt” at WrestleMania 40 instead of the WWE Universal Championship belt.

Not too long before his last WWE Monday Night Show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, the actor wrote a creepy message for Mama Rhodes on his X account:
He concluded, saying, Mama Rhodes, “I will see you soon”.
Cody Rhodes’ brother, Dustin Rhodes, has now attacked the Hollywood star in reaction to The Rock’s actions.
Dustin Rhodes Sparks Controversy with Bold Comments About The Rock
It was a significant evening for Dustin Rhodes on Sunday, March 24. His wrestling school, Rhodes Wrestling Academy, hosted its tenth Student Showcase, in which his nephews Wyatt and Wayne Rhodes made their debuts alongside trainees from his facility.
Before turning his attention to The Rock, Rhodes spoke about the impending event at the start of the show. As earlier explained, Dwayne Johnson has vowed to exact a particular punishment on Dustin Rhodes’ younger brother as Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins prepare to take on The Rock and the Bloodline at WrestleMania.

Now, Dustin Rhodes (via Cageside Seats) gave a not-so-charming yet brief response, in contrast to the Hollywood megastar.
“F*** The Rock.”
His nephews, who are not at odds with The Bloodline, demonstrated their strength by interacting verbally with the RWA Outlaws, their rivals. Wayne Rhodes stated:
“Y’all throwing all these words around, talking all this talk, but let me tell you, matches are not won outside the ring, they’re won inside the ring. That’s where me and Wyatt are going to show you where the real work is done, especially in Texas. Y’all are sitting on y’all’s a*s doing nothing while me and Wyatt are on our Ranch, getting our hands dirty suplexing cows, working our as* off to prepare for this match.”
When the bell rang, Wayne and Wyatt, the Texas Outlaws, honored their family legacy by putting on a show of hard work. Cutting the ring in half, the brothers displayed excellent teamwork by performing double-team moves like dropkicks, Russian takeovers, and stereo Stinger splashes. They gave it their all, but in the end, the RWA Outlaws outmaneuvered them and won the next two falls to capture the RWA Tag Team Championships for the first time.
The Rhodes brothers are not a threat to the Bloodline at this time, but in the future, they might become fierce competitors for both the Samoan dynasty and the industry at large.
The 40th edition of WrestleMania, dubbed WrestleMania XL, will happen over two nights on April 6 and 7, 2024, at Pennsylvania’s Lincoln Financial Field.
