Donna Summer’s estate is suing Kanye West for allegedly ripping off her hit song “I Feel Love” after they denied his request to sample the track.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ Tuesday, the rapper allegedly asked to use part of the song on his “album “Vultures 1” album in January 2024 but was ultimately shot down.

The estate, which still controls a portion of the copyright, claims that they denied West’s request because of his past controversies, per the outlet.

Despite being denied clearance just a week before the album’s release, West still added an interpolation of Summer’s song in his “Good (Don’t Die)” track.

They claim his attempt to work around the copyright infringement was unsuccessful and that the unauthorized soundalike is nearly identical to the late singer’s hit.

The estate — who has also gone after West’s label, as well as his “Vultures 1” collaborator Ty Dolla $ign — is seeking major damages and an injunction blocking further distribution of the song.

The song has since been removed from several streaming services despite being originally included in the “Vultures” tracklist and being available in physical copies of the album.

Reps for the Yeezy designer, 46, did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

This isn’t the first time that West has decided to sample a fellow singer’s song without their permission. He was recently slammed for sampling one of Ozzy Osbourne’s songs on the album despite the rocker rejecting his request.

The former Black Sabbath frontman, 75, told his Instagram followers earlier this month that West was denied from using a sample of a 1983 live performance of “War Pig[s]” “because he is an antisemite and has caused untold heartache to many.”

However, Osbourne said the rapper “went ahead and used the sample anyway at his album listening party” the night prior.

“I want no association with this man!” the rock legend pointed out.

The Grammy-winning rapper released the album on Feb. 9 and has been traveling around Europe in recent weeks to promote the record.

His 10-year-old daughter North joined him in Paris over the weekend at his “Vultures” release party, where she took the stage to perform their song “Talking / Once Again.”

Several attendees posted videos of the father-daughter duo dancing and pointing at the crowd as North’s verse came on.

Both the “Gold Digger” rapper and his mini-me wore all black with North adding a massive trapper hat to her outfit.

Just a few days prior, West was seen at another release party in Milan with his wife, Bianca Censori — who, of course, left little to the imagination.

Censori wore a completely see-through outfit consisting of a sheer black tank top and stockings.

The architect was every bit a supportive wife as she took videos of the rapper on stage and sang along to his hit songs.
