BROKEN: Harry causes a stir in Colombia in several photos. HIGHLIGHTS ARE THE MOMENTS when he leans on the back of a chair of another woman, not Meghan

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle embarked on their much-anticipated tour of Colombia, where their contrasting styles and relaxed demeanor took center stage during one of the tour’s opening events. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a vibrant tribal dance performance at the Delia Zapata National Centre for the Arts in Bogotá, the nation’s capital, where they showcased distinct body language that captured the attention of both the audience and royal watchers.

As the couple watched the colorful “Kiss of the Hummingbird” performance, Meghan, 43, maintained a poised and elegant posture, sitting upright and fully engaged with the spectacle. Her husband, Prince Harry, 39, on the other hand, appeared more at ease, leaning back in his chair and even resting his arm casually on the back of the translator’s chair seated beside him. This relaxed gesture didn’t go unnoticed, with royal fans quickly taking to social media to humorously speculate that the Duke might be risking a gentle rebuke from his wife.

At one point, Harry seemed momentarily distracted, turning to gesture to someone off-camera before engaging in a brief exchange with a woman who approached him. Despite these distractions, Meghan remained unfazed, maintaining her focus on the performance and engaging in conversation with Colombia’s Vice President, Francia Márquez. Meghan was also seen pointing out elements of the dancers’ costumes and warmly shaking hands with the performers at the conclusion of the event.

Meghan’s sartorial choices during the tour have also garnered significant attention. For this particular event, she opted for a $2,150 burgundy Navajo Weaver Metallic Tweed Maxi Dress by Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz. The dress, featuring a thigh-high slit and a stylish cut-out at the waist, was both fashionable and practical, reflecting the local culture while being suitable for Colombia’s warm climate. This isn’t Meghan’s first time donning Ortiz’s designs; she wore a similar dress by the same designer during her tour of Africa earlier this year. Meghan complemented her ensemble with her $12,800 Cartier ‘Juste un Clou’ necklace, a staple in her jewelry collection, and styled her hair in loose waves.

Earlier in the day, Meghan had proven her fashion prowess with another chic outfit as the Sussexes began their four-day tour of Colombia. She stepped out in a tailored £596 collared vest from New York-based brand Veronica Beard, paired with matching navy trousers priced at £349.33. The look was completed with black Manolo Blahnik heels and a cream handbag from Italian company Loro Piana, valued at $4,700.

Upon their arrival in Bogotá, Harry and Meghan were warmly welcomed by Vice President Francia Márquez and her husband, Rafael Yerney Pinillo. The couple spent approximately 30 minutes at the vice president’s residence, where they exchanged gifts and sampled traditional Colombian refreshments, including tea, coffee, and pandebono, a popular cheese bread. The Sussexes were provided with a full security detail throughout their visit, which has been described as a DIY royal tour, organized by the couple’s Archewell Foundation and the Colombian government.

As the couple continues their tour of Colombia, their contrasting styles and relaxed approach have provided a fascinating glimpse into how they navigate their public engagements, blending royal tradition with their own unique flair.
