However, PR to the stars Mayah Riaz believes this will soon change. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, she said: “It’s no doubt when Meghan re-joins Instagram she will overtake Kate in terms of popularity.

Mayah pointed out how it’s likely Kate has staff posting to social media on her behalf. The PR expert added: “Therefore, it paints a picture perfect life which the Royal Family are keen to portray.”

Meghan stepped down from the Royal Family three years ago, before moving to America with her husband Prince Harry. Mayah said this will allow Meghan to “post what she wishes”.

Prince Harry appears to be feeling festive, as the Duke of Sussex has sent out invitations to a Christmas party taking place on December 10. Much like Harry’s recent appearances, the holiday event will be a solo engagement for the Prince, and Meghan Markle is unlikely to be in attendance.

According to the Express, Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity that works with the bereaved children of military personnel, sent out an email revealing Prince Harry’s forthcoming event.

“Prince Harry would like to jump on a call with as many of our members as possible to wish them all a Merry Christmas,” the email explained. “He appreciates that the festive season can be hard for our members and wants them to know he is thinking of them.”

The email also revealed that five lucky people will get the chance to speak to Harry directly, and that he will answer some pre-vetted questions. The invitation concluded, “This is your chance to get to know the Duke loads better and find out what Christmas is like for a Prince!”

As the charity’s global ambassador, Prince Harry has already supported Scotty’s Little Soldiers in a multitude of ways. Earlier this year, the Prince wrote a heartfelt letter ahead of Remembrance Day 2024, in which he discussed the extreme difficulties one faces when they lose a parent.

Harry shared that he understands, “perhaps more than most, the weight of losing a parent at a young age.” The Prince was just 12 years old when his own mother, Princess Diana, died suddenly in a car accident.

The 33-year-old’s meetings with Ms Markle, 36, suggest a close friendship blossoming at the same time as the critical first date in July last year.

At the same time as Prince Harry, 33, was trying to “make sure I’ve got good chat” in his first two rendezvous with the Suits actress, Ms von Westenholz had an opportunity to big up her childhood friend while working with Ms Markle.

Loved-up Instagram photos in the week following the shoot suggest an intertwining of their fates, as Ms Markle posted tantalising pictures of the successful wooing by the Prince with pictures of heart-shaped matches, stunning bouquets and “Kiss me” love hearts.

The American, who will seek to gain British citizenship after marrying the Prince, was wowed by the lawn tennis tournament, posting on Instagram a selfie of the smiling friends on July 4 with the caption: “How much more could I adore this gem thank you Violet von Westenholz”.

Yesterday, Miss Westenholz did not deny that she had been responsible for setting up their first date.

She told the Daily Telegraph: “I might leave that for other people to say [who it is].

“It’s a great story and I am sure they are going to be very happy together. I am just happy they are really happy. They are great together.”

The royal Cilla Black may be keeping a low profile for now. But whoever was responsible for shooting this arrow of love can be happy with their smitten targets – and hold out, perhaps, for an invite to 2018’s wedding of the year.

The Duchess of Sussex chose a $6,600 hand-crocheted Chloé dress while on vacation with her husband in the Caribbean over the weekend.

In a series of photos obtained by the Mail , the former royal couple are seen leaving a gourmet food store hand in hand. The area they were walking in is part of the Sandy Lane Yacht Club and Marina in Glossy Bay, south of Canouan Island – an island known as “the billionaires’ paradise”.

In keeping with Canouan’s famously lavish lifestyle, the Suits star opted for a full-blown ensemble. She wore an off-white sleeveless dress from the French fashion house. Speaking about the dress, Chloé said: “The design is hand-crocheted from various shaped pieces of wool and silk. It’s very soft, ankle-length, and has a very feminine charm to it.”

She writes that the recipe will serve two people, and it’s quite straightforward – all it takes is 10 minutes to prep and 30 minutes in the oven.

To jazz up the chicken, the recipe called mostly for greens and garnishes like leeks, chopped thyme and chopped parsley.

‘Mushrooms have been shown to boost vitamin D levels, heighten immunity and make a delicious gravy when combined with sautéed leeks and fragrant herbs,’ Meghan wrote about the delicious main course.

‘This would make a great meal anytime of the year, but it’s also a wonderful alternative to a traditional Thanksgiving turkey, in case you didn’t get a free-range turkey this year,’ she added.

And, interestingly enough, Meghan was roasting a chicken when Prince Harry proposed to her in 2017.

Next up on the menu was a roasted acorn squash wedge salad, which was made with a sunflower sauce.

This salad also served two, and took a whopping 45 minutes total time to prep and cook.

However, Meghan assured readers that it was a ‘great way to enjoy some of the last fall greens.’

But if you can’t get fresh lettuce, you could also use ‘healthier mixed greens’ or even the squash and sauce by itself.

‘Sunflowers are high in vitamin E (the body’s primary fat-soluble antioxidant), magnesium and selenium, and this delicious sauce has many uses, so don’t be surprised if it becomes a regular in your kitchen,’ she explained.

And of course, you can’t skip dessert on Thanksgiving, so the ‘Clean Team’ gave a recipe for almond butter bites.

‘These protein packed little treats are not only delicious and taste like dessert, but they’re easy to whip up,’ Meghan wrote.

‘They keep for a long time and are great to take with you on all of your adventures. Nourishing and hunger satiating, these truffles make a great breakfast, post-workout snack, mid-afternoon pick-me-up, or dessert,’ she continued.

The American Riviera Orchard founder admitted that they were better than eating ‘processed candy.’

‘You can even dip them in chocolate and give them as a beautiful gift,’ she typed at the time.

‘And instead of snacking on processed candy this Thanksgiving, use these goodies as a yummy, clean alternative.’

Royal commentator Duncan Larcombe suggests that Prince Harry is “heartbroken” over his children’s potential detachment from the Royal Family, insinuating that whereas Meghan Markle has realised her aspirations, Prince Harry has fulfilled only some of his, detailed in Woman magazine. Notwithstanding his contented role as a “loving father and husband” Mr. Larcombe believes Harry has not gained much else.

The continuing debate over Harry’s security arrangements fuels conjecture about his possible return to the UK with kids Archie and Lilibet, given added impetus by the Sussexes’ reported purchase of a property in Portugal.

Mr. Larcombe stresses: “Meghan’s dreams have all come true, but what about Harry’s? He is now richer than he was, even more famous and surrounded by celebrity hangers-on rather than the group of trusted people who called friends.”

Additionally, he notes: “The major change for Harry is having two children in his life and being able to play the role of loving father and husband, something he has always wanted. Though aside from that dream achieved, there is arguably little else he has really gained.”

Ultimately Mr. Larcombe emphasises Harry’s poignant dilemma: “No matter how he might try to protest, Harry will be missing his family and friends back in Britain and will be heartbroken that his children are being brought up without knowing the relatives he left behind.”

Reports and comments throughout 2024 have been rife with speculation about Prince Harry’s yearning for the UK and his attempts to mend fences with the Royal Family.

In an interview with The Mirror, Royal biographer Tom Quinn weighed in on what he describes as the end of Harry’s “honeymoon period” in America, reports AberdeenLive.

Mr Quinn remarked: “As time goes by, Harry misses some aspects of his old life in the UK.”

He went on to add: “Inevitably, the honeymoon period where everything in the States is new and exciting is coming to an end and Harry is looking back at the past through rose-tinted spectacles. He misses his Old Etonian and army friends, many of whom have not visited as they don’t get on with Meghan.”

Furthermore, Quinn suggests Harry’s ongoing legal battle to have his security costs covered by the British taxpayer is part of a wider plan to establish a permanent residence in the UK.

This sentiment has been echoed among Royal experts, who speculate that the Sussexes’ property in Portugal might symbolically and physically bring Harry closer to his roots and family members like Princess Eugenie.

CambridgeLive has reported that Princess Eugenie is thrilled about the idea of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moving closer. An insider revealed: “Eugenie is immensely fond of Harry and Meghan, as is Jack. They’ve always been incredibly close and it’s extremely heartening to them that a wider (peace for the Sussexes) with the royals is finally in sight.”
