The footballing legend, 49, made his debut as the face of the snack brand earlier this year along with fellow Premier League star Thierry, 46.

But now, in a new skit, the sportsmen realise they are out of Walkers crisps just before sitting down in front of the television to watch a game and David sends his friend to go knocking on strangers’ doors instead.

A series of shocked women answer the door and try to appease him with several other brands of crisps, but to no avail.

One women shrieks in surprise, whilst another beams and two women look stunned on the doorstep.

Thierry is left unimpressed with some of the blurred-out other branded options, as the French footballer proclaims: ‘There is no substitute for Walkers!’

One woman screeches: ‘You can’t go!’ before he leaves and finally lands upon a house with the correct brand.

All this time, David has been left in the house keeping a watchful eye on Thierry with binoculars.

Thierry is delighted to see he has landed on the ‘real deal’ and he takes her and a teenage boy back to watch the Champions League Final – sponsored by Walkers – with them.

Upon opening the door, the woman giggles ‘Hello’  but can only be allowed in if she has the crisps.

David asks ‘Got the Walkers?’ and the delighted quartet are soon settled on the sofa together just in time for the match.

The famed snack brand – which is known as Lays internationally – featured Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker in its ads for more than 25 years, but he has not been seen in one since 2021.

David Beckham jokes Man United fans will ‘kill’ him over Jurgen Klopp comments as England icon heaps praise on departed Liverpool boss

David Beckham hilariously claimed he is going to ‘get killed’ by Manchester United fans after heaping praise on departed Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

The Inter Miami owner is a United legend following his glamorous trophy-laden years at Old Trafford where Sir Alex Ferguson‘s team shared an intense rivalry with Liverpool.

United eviscerated Liverpool’s title ambitions during Beckham’s career at the club before Klopp took the Reds back to the top of English and European football during nine years at Anfield.

The German said his final farewell to Liverpool on Sunday, with the club later confirming Feyenoord chief Arne Slot would replace him.

Beckham has since given his verdict on Klopp and admitted his ‘love’ for the now-former Liverpool manager who delivered seven major honours across nine-years.

Speaking on the Smartless podcast, Beckham hailed Klopp’s approach to football and labelled his effect on football as ‘incredible’.

‘Even as a Man United fan I love Jurgen. I love his character, his personality and what he brings to the sport,’ said Beckham.

‘I am going to get killed by some of my Man United friends, I am sad to see him leave. What he has done for the club and the sport has been incredible,’ he added.

It was also put to Beckham that he should consider appointing Klopp at Inter Miami, but the former England captain rejected that notion, quipping: ‘We’ve not got much money left.’

Klopp shocked football in January when he announced he didn’t have the ‘energy’ to continue as Liverpool manager and would be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Fans pleaded with the 56-year-old to reverse his decision only for him to stick with his initial announcement and complete his final game by beating Wolves on the final day of the season.

Meanwhile, Mail Sport now revealed Klopp is set to begin his break from football at a luxury hotel in Majorca where he will be placed to keep updated on the developments of his luxury mansion on the Balearic Islands.

His nearby neighbours will include another ex-Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers, and his old Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski.

Jake Paul tried his best to intimidate Mike Tyson during the pair’s face-off.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul takes on former World Champion Tyson at the AT&T Arena in Texas on July 20.

And in a press conference to promote the fight, Tyson and Paul traded insults and expletives before doing a face-off, which didn’t quite go to plan for the latter party.

Paul attempted to intimidate Tyson through piercing eye contact and by assuming various strange stances. At one point he adopted a fighter’s stance, while another moment saw him point gun fingers at the former unified WBA, WBC and IBF titles holder.

Tyson, however, appeared relaxed and completely unmoved, with fans on social media quick to label the interaction “embarrassing”.

On X, formally Twitter, one person said: “This just feels embarrassing. There’s no win in this for Jake.”

Another added: “How is he not embarrassed lol this dude damn near 60.”

A third said: “Mike seems unbothered.”

A fourth wrote: “Mike sees him as a child that needs a good whooping.”

Elsewhere, the press conference took a bizarre turn after Paul announced that he wanted to “kiss Mike’s big juicy lips.”

Tyson responded: “He wanted to kiss me? That’s so ironic that he said that because I saw pictures of him dancing at 16, doing that little dance on YouTube and for some reason I had an erection.”

Tyson’s peculiar announcement prompted a very lukewarm response from the audience.

Despite the fact Tyson will be 58 by the time of the encounter, with Paul still only 27, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has sanctioned the fight as a professional bout.

However, it will only feature eight two-minute rounds rather than the traditional 10 or 12 rounds lasting three minutes each.

Moreover, the gloves will be 14 ounces rather than 10 in a bid to reduce the power of punches.

Tyson returns to action on July 20 as he meets Paul in a fight that has been sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR) in a major U-turn.

Tyson vs. Paul will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with outrageous $2 million VIP ticket packages being made available.

The duo recently embarked on a media tour, where they had a face off as fans think the contest is already done.

Holyfield, who had an epic rivalry with Tyson during his legendary career, sees it differently.

He reckons the outcome depends on Paul and even suggested that the former world heavyweight champion could ‘quit’ in the ring.

Asked for a prediction, Holyfield replied: “I don’t know, it all depends on how Jake fights.

“The point of the matter is whether Jake Paul takes a good shot.

“I have never seen him get hit by anybody.

“But you never know, Mike might just quit in the ring and sit down and say, ‘I’m done’.”

Tyson has not been involved in a pro fight since June 2005 when he suffered a defeat to Ireland’s Kevin McBride.

But he came out of retirement he face fellow boxing great Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition back in November 2020.

The boxing icon, who will be 58 by the time he enters the ring against the 27-year-old, has documented his training camp on social media and appears to be in amazing condition, having showed off his legendary hand speed and power.

Paul, on the other hand, beat Ryan Bourland in his last outing as he improved his pro record to 9-1.

He boasts victories over Nate Diaz and Anderson Silva as he seeks to earn the biggest scalp of his career.

Jake Paul will face Mike Tyson in a professional bout on July 20.

Carl Froch makes huge claim about Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul contract details that would change everything

Former British boxer Carl Froch has made a significant claim about Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul when discussing the contract details behind this summer’s much-anticipated fight.

Tyson, 57, will go head-to-head with YouTube personality Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday, July 20, with the event being streamed exclusively on Netflix.

Paul extended his professional record to 9-1 with a first-round victory over Ryan Bourland in March, while Tyson’s last bout was a six-round exhibition against Roy Jones Jr in 2020.

Since the initial announcement was made earlier this year, it has been confirmed that the fight will be contested over eight, two-minute rounds with each fighter using 14-ounce gloves.

Tyson requested two-minute rounds to the board as he believes shorter rounds will command more in-ring action. “If we have shorter rounds, we’ll fight more,” he said.

The contract details surrounding Tyson vs Paul continue to be of interest. And in a recent interview, former four-time world super-middleweight champion Carl Froch made a bold claim.

The 45-year-old says Mike Tyson will be paid less if he KO’s his opponent on July 20.

“From what I’m hearing with the contracts, allegedly, he gets paid less if he wins in round one, Tyson, or if he gets a knockout he gets paid even less,” he told Safebettingsites.

“There’s restrictions in his contract based on how he wins.”

Froch added: “I don’t know if it’s been confirmed, but I’ve read somewhere that there’s a clause in his contract that means he’s going to earn less money if he goes out there and destroys Jake Paul.”

Evander Holyfield, who infamously had his ear bitten off by Tyson, made a bold claim about the former heavyweight champion ahead of his first professional bout since 2005.

When asked for a prediction, Holyfield told Fight Hub TV: “I don’t know, it all depends on how Jake fights. The point of the matter is whether Jake Paul takes a good shot.

“I have never seen him get hit by anybody. But you never know, Mike might just quit in the ring and sit down and say, ‘I’m done’.”

Jake Paul, meanwhile, has predicted he will be “too fast” for the 57-year-old, who last competed in a professional fight aged 38.

“I think he’s underestimating me, I truly, truly think that,” Paul said.

“It’s a heavyweight fight, he’s the bigger man but I’m the faster man. He’s the much stronger man but I’m fresh. He’s experienced. I’m smart but in the ring he may be smarter. It’s are really interesting match-up and people see the training videos and think he’s a beast.

“But I know I have what it takes to beat him. It’s an honour to be in the ring with him but I’m confident I’ll have my hand raised. It’s going to be tough, he’s going to be getting inside but I believe I have the faster feet and faster hands and I’m going to be finding the angles.”

On Monday, it was reported that Tyson suffered a “medical emergency” while on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles.

According to representatives,Tyson required medical attention became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare but is now “doing great”.

Mike Tyson suffered a ‘medical emergency’ while boarding a plane last night in a huge scare ahead of his fight against Jake Paul.

Tyson returns to the ring on July 20 when he faces Paul in a pro fight that is scheduled to take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

It will be the 57-year-old’s first appearance in a pro bout since 2005 when he lost to Ireland’s Kevin McBride, who now lives a very different life.

And ahead of meeting Paul in a pro contest, the boxing legend had an almighty scare on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday.

According to his representatives, Tyson became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare and received medical attention.

But he is now doing ‘great’, per his team.

“Thankfully Mr. Tyson is doing great,” the boxer’s representatives said. “He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing. He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”

A source said: “Mike had some kind of medical emergency on the plane and paramedics boarded.

“Before the paramedics arrived the flight issued an announcement asking for a doctor – the message even came on everyone’s screens.”

In Touch Weekly did not know whether the former world heavyweight champion was removed from the flight, which had been delayed by two hours in Miami.

His representatives, however, clarified that the delay was down to an air conditioning issue and not Tyson’s medical incident.

Before the plane landed in Los Angeles, passengers heard an announcement asking for medical professionals, per the report.

The reported medical scare stopped passengers leaving the plane for 25 minutes.

“He was in first class, but we were in an exit row and the stewardess was very chatty. They asked us to stay on the plane and landed so paramedics could enter,” a source revealed. “She said something like, ‘He’s a really important passenger so we wanna make sure he’s OK’. I knew it was him, but I just mouthed the words ‘Mike Tyson’ and she nodded her head yes.”

A former boxing world champion is ‘on standby’ to replace Mike Tyson if he is forced to withdraw from his fight against Jake Paul.

Tyson and Paul are due to face off at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 17, with the fight part of Netflix’s first-ever live-streamed boxing card.

‘Iron Mike’, 57, is to come out of retirement for the event, with the bout classified under professional rules.

Tyson hasn’t fought professionally since his 2005 defeat to Kevin McBride, although has had two exhibitions – most recently his 2020 clash against Roy Jones Jr – since then.

On Sunday, Tyson suffered a ‘medical emergency’ during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles.

His representatives stated that he became ‘nauseous and dizzy’ due to an ulcer flare and received medical attention.

The 57-year-old is now ‘doing great’, with a source stating: “Mike had some kind of medical emergency on the plane and paramedics boarded.

“Before the paramedics arrived, the flight issued an announcement asking for a doctor – the message even came on everyone’s screens.”

Speaking to World Boxing News, former WBC super-middleweight champion Sakio Bika, 45, has offered to step in if Tyson is forced to withdraw from the bout at any stage.

The Australian fighter, who was born in Cameroon, won 35 of his 45 professional fights, but has only fought once since 2017.

He said: “At the moment, I am staying in shape and ready if the right offer comes my way.

“I have reached the top of the sport, becoming a multiple-time world champion and winning the prestigious Contender series.

“I have nothing more to prove to anyone, but I would like to have one more big fight.

“If someone like Jake Paul or his brother would really like to test himself against a recent world champion, I am always ready to fight.

“Mike Tyson is an all time great boxer; he was hero of mine growing up, and even though he looks in great shape, he is almost 60 years of age!

“If Jake Paul is serious about fighting a former champion, look for someone a lot younger or active within the last decade. I can fight Jake Paul at any weight he wants.”

Tyson had a scare on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday as he required urgent medical attention.

The 57-year-old became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare and was treated on the plane.

His representatives state he’s now ‘doing great’ ahead of returning to action on July 20.

Paul, who will welcome the boxing icon back to the ring this summer, has issued an update on the status of their upcoming pro bout.

On X, he wrote: “You love to make sh*t up before knowing the facts for clicks / likes. Nothing changed.”

An ex-world champion boxer is ‘on standby’ should Tyson be forced to pull out of the showdown.

The former world heavyweight champion, meanwhile, is set to be involved in his first pro content since June 2005 when he suffered a defeat to Ireland’s Kevin McBride.

But he returned to action in November 2020 as he faced fellow boxing legend Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition.

Mike Tyson’s fight against Jake Paul could be cancelled if ‘Iron Mike’ fails some unusual tests.

Boxing legend Tyson and YouTuber-turned-fighter Paul are set to meet in an eagerly anticipated bout on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The fight will be a pro bout, Tyson’s first since 2005 when he lost to Ireland’s Kevin McBride, who now lives a very different life.

However, fresh doubts were cast over the fight after the 57-year-old suffered a medical emergency on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday.

“Before the paramedics arrived the flight issued an announcement asking for a doctor – the message even came on everyone’s screens.”

Given the age difference between the two fighters – Tyson will be 31 years older than 27-year-old Paul come fight night – there were already concerns about the former heavyweight world champion’s health.

Even when taking the recent scare out of the equation, the fight will be cancelled if Tyson fails a health test written into the fight rules by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Speaking to USA Today Sports, TDLR communications manager Tela Mange explained that fighters over the age of 36 must submit favourable results from an electroencephalogram (EEG) and an electrocardiogram (EKG).

An EEG is used to evaluate brain disorders whilst an EKG is used to detect heart problems.

“We can also request additional testing if we think it’s appropriate,” Mange said.

Though the fight will be classified as a pro bout, the two fighters will contest eight round of two minutes rather than three, and will wear 14-ounce gloves that are heavier than usual.

Fans are very concerned for Mike Tyson as training footage has resurfaced ahead of his fight against Jake Paul amid his ‘medical emergency’.

Tyson suffered a scare on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles as he suffered a ‘medical emergency’.

He received urgent medical treatment for an ulcer flare as he became nauseous and dizzy on the plane.

According to his representatives, he’s now ‘doing great’ as he looks to return to action against Paul on July 20.

But fight fans have expressed their concerns for the boxing legend after footage of him on a treadmill has resurfaced amid his medical incident.

Footage shows Tyson struggling on a treadmill, albeit not a normal machine.

People on social media made their feelings clear about his pro fight against Paul as they slammed the YouTuber-turned-boxer for facing the 57-year-old.

One X user wrote: “He is an old man and I hope he don’t get hurt. Against Roy jones they was both old but he’s about to fight a young strong man. Even if it is an exhibition the punches still hit.”

A second pleaded: “Oh my goodness… please cancel the fight.”

A third added: “Please stop this fight. I don’t want to see it anymore.”

A fifth argued: “These aren’t normal treadmills. I looked just like Mike, my first time on one of these! They are very different and difficult. If you don’t train, you wouldn’t know.”
