David Beckham is joined by son Cruz as they watch his MLS league leaders Inter Miami suffer an unexpected 3-1 home defeat to Atlanta United

It got messy in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday evening, for reasons that had nothing to do with the talismanic Argentinian footballer many fans had paid good money to see.

With club co-owner David Beckham watching from the Chase Stadium stands, Inter Miami suffered a chastening 3-1 defeat at the hands of MLS rivals Atlanta United.

Worse still, Beckham’s youngest son Cruz, 19, was also in attendance as the Florida-based football franchise left with red-faces after the unexpected battering in their own back yard.

Beckham, 49, was dressed smartly in the blue two-piece he usually favours while watching the team he founded in 2018.

But the former Manchester United and England footballer’s expression was notably sour as Atlanta enjoyed a comprehensive win over Miami, whose single goal came – unsurprisingly – from Argentina star Lionel Messi.

Despite Thursday’s setback, Messi and his Miami teammates remain perched at the top of the MLS Eastern Conference – but only a single point separates them from second placed Cincinnati.

Beckham and Messi were recently praised for their humility after stopping to pose for countless selfies after a recent win against Vancouver Whitecaps.

Messi, who missed Miami’s 2-1 win over the Canadian side on May 25, looked to be leaving a dinner when fans approached him for a photo, including one who put his arm around him.

In a video posted by Instagram account Only in Dade, he could be seen posing for several fans before taking off, and his actions were apparently well-received.

‘These are two of the most humble Superstars out there, and seem to never say NO! [to a photo],’ Only in Dade said afterwards.

‘Met Messi about a month ago… cant lie, the nicest guy and super humble,’ one fan added.

Beckham, meanwhile, was spotted by several fans as he left a Miami Target store with several shopping bags in hand.

The Inter Miami co-owner smiled as he posed with several fans and even signed an autograph for one fan as well.

Another added, ‘Great to have [Messi and Beckham] as neighbors in Miami! They have gratitude and kindness. What more can you ask for!?’

It’s been a great season thus far for the Herons, who are top of MLS with 34 points through 16 games.

Messi has started just nine of those, as he suffered a leg injury in March and has been rested on occasion by manager Tata Martino as well.

Victoria Beckham makes her Kardashians debut as she reacts to Kim and family showing up LATE to her Paris Fashion Week show

She’s the matriarch of one of Britain’s most famous families.

And Victoria Beckham came face to face with one of America’s most notable ménages as she appeared in The Kardashians on Thursday.

The season five premiere documented the Kardashian clan’s trip to Paris for Fashion Week, where they had been invited to Victoria Beckham’s runway show.

Victoria, 50, has known the family since 2019 and enlisted model Kendall Jenner to close her show.

Yet disaster struck when Kim Kardashian, mother Kris Jenner and partner Corey Gamble got stuck in traffic on their way to the show, resulting in them being 20 minutes late.

The faux pas didn’t go down well with longtime Vogue Editor in Chief, Anna Wintour, who was sitting next to Victoria’s husband David Beckham.

Yet once the show kicked off, everyone was able to settle down, with Kendall closing out the show in a black suit and boxy black glasses.

While her family somehow didn’t recognise her striding past them, Victoria was clearly pleased with Kendall.

Seemingly taking no issue with the Kardashians holding up her show, she rushed to greet them after the runway presentation and said of Kendall: ‘she closed, she was the last one, she was the final girl.’

A producer then told Kim in confession: ‘I feel like you should get a big pair of glasses,’ as Kim agreed: ‘I should, I need them.’

Victoria continued: ‘She is so sweet and kind to everyone,’ with Kim responding: ‘She’s the best.’

Kim added in confession: ‘I came to support Victoria, I came to support Kendall, I love seeing my mum…’

She then posed for snaps with Victoria, with all the drama of her late arrival put firmly behind them.

Victoria Beckham talks about her look for Vogue World Show

Kim has long been a fan of Victoria’s, having grown up admiring The Spice Girls and claimed on the last season of Kardashians that she was once asked to fill in for Posh Spice on tour.

She told how bandmate Mel C asked her to help out after recalling how she once performed as Posh for a talent show.

‘They asked me if I would be her part. Mel C asked me,’ Kim told a group of friends while attending a footbal game with their kids in London.

‘Can you imagine? North is like, ‘Do it, mum!’ Kim added.

Kim elaborated on Mel C’s invitation in a confessional, stating: ‘Sporty Spice wrote a book and she signed it inside and she sent it to me.

‘It said they were going on tour and they needed a Posh and would I be the Posh? I am sure she was joking but when I was in high school would I ever have thought that this was like a thing?

‘I am just a girl from high school who loves the Spice Girls and now they are asking me?’

KATIE HIND: Why I know David Beckham HAD to be a proud monarchist: he told me his beloved Granddad put on a suit and tie when the Queen came on TV!

There’s been plenty said about how David Beckham would like to be ‘Sir David’ one day.

And when it emerged that King Charles wants to meet him to talk about how David might use his vast popularity to help Charles’s charity, The Prince’s Foundation, we heard more of it again.

Perhaps it’s true. But the David I know is driven by genuine affection for the royals – and he is already friendly with a surprising number of them.

His family are proud monarchists. And so is he.

‘I was at home when I first heard that the Queen had been taken ill,’ Beckham told me recently. ‘Listening to the news and talking to people, you could feel the whole country hold its breath.

‘When the announcement came we all felt like we wanted to get together with family and friends’.

If he was deeply saddened by the death of Queen Elizabeth last year, it was his late grandfather, Joe, who taught him to hold the royal family in such high esteem.

(Joe, his mother’s father, is remembered in Beckham’s full name – David Robert Joseph Beckham.)

As a child, the former England captain would see his grandfather put on a suit when there were big royal moments – watch on the television at his East London home.

It was those moments which began the footballing legend’s love affair with the royals.

As his career grew, he got to know Princes William and Harry well and today he counts the future King as a good friend.

One source says: ‘David and William’s friendship has grown and grown over the years, they have worked on some great projects together.’

Beckham and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer close however. ‘He and Harry are no longer friends,’ confirms the source.

There are other royal friends, too, however, including Sarah Ferguson. The Duchess of York, ex-wife of Prince Andrew,  was introduced to the footballer by David Gardner, Beckham’s best friend.

He also knows Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, daughters of Fergie and Andrew.

It was with those friendships in mind – and, of course, the memory of his grandfather –  that Beckham knew he had to get suited and booted and queue up to see the late Queen when she was lying in state at Westminster Hall.

The full 13-hour queue that is, not a celebrity short cut.

‘Speaking more of his fondness for the Monarch, who died in September 2022, Beckham said: ‘You could feel the waves of sympathy for the Royal Family from around the world and how loved our Queen was.

‘I thought about my mum and dad and my late grandparents and how they brought us up to respect the Royal family. That was what made me join the queue for the lying in state.

‘I was in that queue a few hours longer than I thought I would be but it was an experience I’ll never forget. I met some great people and we all kept each other going.

‘People from all walks of life there just to show their respect and be part of a moment in history. A long night but I felt lucky to be there.’

David Beckham paid his respects to The Queen after waiting 13 hours in the queue – despite being offered the chance to jump ahead by an MP

Hidden among the throng, David Beckham waited for more than 13 hours to pay his respects to the Queen yesterday despite being offered the chance to jump the queue by an MP.

Dressed in a suit that hid his famous tattoos, a cap and a Covid mask, the former England captain, 47, joined mourners in the ‘Elizabeth line’ at 2am, going unnoticed by the masses for hours as he shuffled his way from Southwark Park to Westminster Hall.

Along with those around him, who helped keep his secret initially, Beckham said he survived on the very unfootballer-like diet of ‘Pringles, sherbet lemons, sandwiches, coffee and doughnuts’.

‘We all want to be here together. We all want to experience something where we celebrate the amazing life of our Queen and I think something like this today is meant to be shared together,’ he told BBC News.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder saw his cover finally blown shortly after midday, with members of the public taking to social media to share the news he was there.

The Daily Mail can reveal Beckham had been invited to view Her Majesty’s coffin by an MP, who is allowed to take up to four guests, to jump the queue. But he declined the offer, saying that his grandfather Joseph West – a staunch royalist and the man the footballer has called his ‘real-life hero’ – would have been disappointed.

Emotional David Beckham bows head for Queen at her lying-in-state

A source said: ‘David could have avoided all of the queuing but he wanted to be like everyone else. He said his grandad wouldn’t have [jumped the queue] so neither would he. He had been wondering all week when the best time was to go and finally he went for this morning.

‘David was brought up in an East End family who were real royalists – the kind who would stand to attention when the national anthem came on. He wanted to go to see the Queen like any other member of the public.’

Beckham also opted to dress in a suit because he said that’s what his grandfather, who died in 2009 aged 83, would have done.

After queuing for 13 hours, Beckham looked emotional as he moved past the coffin to pay his respects appearing at one point to wipe a tear from the corner of his eye. As England captain, he met the Queen several times and received his OBE from her in 2003.

‘Every time we stood there when we wore those Three Lion shirts and I had my armband, and we sang God save our Queen, that was something that meant so much to us. Every time we did it, it was something special,’ Beckham told reporters.

‘So this day was always going to be difficult. It’s difficult for the nation, it’s difficult for everyone around the world, because I think everyone is feeling it, and our thoughts are with the family and obviously with everybody here today. Because it’s special to be here, to celebrate and to hear the different stories that people have to say. I thought by coming at 2am, it was going to be a little bit quieter – I was wrong.

‘Probably the most special moment for me was when I received my OBE. I took my grandparents with me, who were the ones that really brought me up to be a huge royalist and a fan of the Royal Family, and obviously I had my wife there as well.

‘To step up, to get my honour but then also Her Majesty, to ask questions, to talk, I was so lucky that I was able to have a few moments like that in my life.

‘Because we can all see with the love that has been shown, how special she was and the legacy she leaves behind. It’s a sad day, but it’s a day for us to remember the incredible legacy that she’s left.’

He has regularly told of his fondness for her on his Instagram and when she passed away last week he wrote: ‘I’m truly saddened by the death of Her Majesty, the Queen. What an outpouring of love and respect we saw for the Platinum Jubilee for her life of service.

‘How devastated we all feel today shows what she has meant to people in this country and around the world. How much she inspired us with her leadership. How she comforted us when times were tough.’

When asked how the queuing had been on his knees, he replied: ‘The knees are OK, it’s the back and the feet.’

One woman who had queued next to Beckham told BBC News: ‘Big respect to him. He’s stood with us and he’s paid his respects how he wants to and I think that’s amazing.’

Other celebrities who queued included Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid who waited for more than seven hours with her mother to see the Queen’s coffin lying in state.

The 51-year-old broadcaster wrote on Twitter: ‘I have just experienced a moment in history… at once majestic and peaceful.’

David Beckham used to stand for the Queen’s Speech as a boy in the tiny living room of his childhood home in East London. Now he stands and chuckles with her son King Charles…

Sitting in the tiny living room of his childhood home in Leytonstone, East London, few occasions would bring a young David Beckham to his feet beyond a goal being scored on TV.

But such was his love of the Royal Family that every Christmas, dressed in his Sunday best, he would stand up for the Queen’s Speech.

It was as much a fixture of his Royal calendar as Trooping the Colour. Every June, David’s grandparents Peggy and Joseph took him and his two sisters 13 miles across London to Horse Guards Parade, hoping to glimpse the Queen.

So how thrilled David is now, some 40 years later, to be allowed behind the velvet rope and into the royal fold as the first ambassador for the renamed King’s Foundation.

And what sweetened David’s aristocratic rise was, it can be revealed, a jar of honey.

David has kept bees on his country estate in Oxfordshire since lockdown, and handed a pot of his homemade honey – inimitably named DBee’z Sticky Stuff – to the King at the British Fashion Council awards in London last May.

The monarch was apparently ‘stunned’ at the gift, not least because he realised that the football icon – who hails from a very different world and is known better for free-kicks, high fashion and changing haircuts – was a fellow apiarist.

A friend of the star tells me: ‘A strong bond has forged between them. When David handed over the honey, the King looked surprised – perhaps he didn’t expect that the footballer from East London would be into beekeeping, and he was intrigued by David’s love for the countryside.’

And it was that curiosity that prompted the King to invite David to his Highgrove residence in Gloucestershire.

But what does one wear to meet the King? For David, it was head-to-toe Purdey, a label favoured for the country gent look. He wore a £2,995 estate evening duke jacket, merino wool flannel trousers costing £560 and the Purdey grain leather shoes, available for £595.

Green-fingered Charles proudly gave him a tour of his beloved gardens and introduced him to stone carvers on the estate and craftspeople making furniture and textiles.

The ex-England captain is no stranger to the countryside since buying his Grade II-listed Cotswolds home an hour’s drive away near Chipping Norton in 2016.

In his recent eponymous documentary on Netflix, David explained how lucky he felt to be able to escape there, tending to his bees and chickens, taking strolls around his lake and planting trees – as he did with his daughter Harper during lockdown.

Now, having a role at a royal foundation that promotes the natural world and a sustainable future, particularly to the young, has left David ‘honoured and delighted’.

A friend of his explains: ‘David comes from a working class family, and like many with that background, he holds the monarchy in high esteem.

‘He absolutely adored Queen Elizabeth, which surely won’t be lost on King Charles.’

His courtship of the royals has been decades in the making.

In 2003, it was the Queen who presented an ‘overjoyed’ Beckham with an OBE for his services to football at Buckingham Palace.

In 2010, David worked with Prince William, then-president of the FA, to bring stardust to prime minister David Cameron’s ultimately unsuccessful bid for England to host the 2018 World Cup.

The pair have engaged on several projects together since, including a mental health campaign in 2020.

But it was when the Queen died in September 2022 that David wore his affection for the monarchy so publicly.

Together with some 250,000 mourners who saw her lying in state at Westminster Hall, David queued for 12 hours through the night, wearing his Sunday best as if he were back in his Leytonstone living room on Christmas Day. Speaking to the Mail a year later, he said: ‘I was at home when I heard that the Queen had been taken ill. You could feel the whole country was holding its breath. When the announcement came, we all felt like we wanted to get together with family and friends.

‘You could sense the waves of sympathy for the Royal Family coming from around the world. They showed how loved she was. I thought of my mum and dad and my late grandparents, and how they brought us up to respect the Royal Family.

‘That was what made me join the queue for the Lying in State.’

David’s new bond with the King will, of course, prompt questions over whether his next honour will be a knighthood. He was previously turned down for one over a past association with a tax avoidance scheme, and emails leaked in 2017 revealed he was furious.

But time is a remarkable healer. He has long since settled his tax issues with HM Revenue and Customs, and his dream of becoming Sir David could yet come true.

But his supporters will argue that the trust Charles has shown in David as ambassador to the Kings Foundation, and the personal bond the pair have created, is rehabilitation enough.

The star has been, of course, no stranger to public scrutiny. Who can forget the death threats after his red card against Argentina in the 1998 World Cup?

Or the accusations made by Rebecca Loos that he cheated on wife Victoria while he was living in Madrid? And only two years ago, he was paid millions to be the face of the controversial Qatar World Cup.

Undoubtedly he has come a long way, not least as the child who stood to attention during the Queen’s Speech to now standing shoulder to shoulder with her son.

The bee’s knees! How Becks charmed King… and now he’s been made the first ambassador for King Charles’s key charity, could he be a step closer to becoming Sir David?

As a footballer, his artistry on the pitch elevated him to sporting royalty. Now David Beckham has won official recognition from King Charles by becoming an ambassador for his charity.

As his appointment was announced tonight, the former England captain said he was ‘excited’ to have been chosen for the prestigious role at the King’s Foundation, following a meeting with Charles at his beloved Highgrove Estate.

He is the first ambassador to be named by the charity since Charles was crowned, and the move is certain to increase speculation that Beckham’s long-held dream of a knighthood could finally become reality.

Speaking about his new role, Beckham said: ‘I’m excited to be working with the King’s Foundation and to have the opportunity to help raise awareness of the charity’s work.

‘I’ve always been keen to help young people to expand their horizons and I’m particularly looking forward to supporting the foundation’s education programmes and its efforts to ensure young people have greater access to nature.’

The former England captain said he was ‘excited’ to have been chosen for the prestigious role at the King’s Foundation, following a meeting with Charles at his beloved Highgrove Estate

The foundation, established in 1986 when Charles was Prince of Wales, is run from Dumfries House in Scotland. It aims to support ‘sustainable communities’ and spearheads education courses for young people, often with a focus on rural skills.

Beckham, 49, was invited to the King’s Gloucestershire estate last month to meet the monarch, 75, and enjoy a tour of the luxuriant gardens, which span 15 acres and are cared for by the foundation. Highgrove is a treasured personal home for the King, but is also the base for educational workshops funded by the charity, whose students live and study at Highgrove.

Charming pictures from their meeting show Beckham laughing and smiling with an equally relaxed and cheerful King.

The tete-a-tete was one of Charles’s first duties back at work after his cancer diagnosis, underlining the meeting’s importance to the King.

It is understood that a number of other VIPs are in discussions about becoming ambassadors.

But while the appointment is a boost for Beckham and the foundation, the cheerful images of the Highgrove meeting on May 3 might make painful viewing for Prince Harry, who was unable to see his father during his UK visit around that time.

Staff at the charity are thrilled to welcome Beckham and view it as a ‘big moment’. Aides said the footballer was approached by the foundation to be an ambassador due to his and the King’s shared interests in nature and opportunities for young people.

Beckham was first invited to see the charity’s work last October, as reported by this newspaper, and lives just an hour down the road from Highgrove, in the Cotswolds. Insiders revealed that the King and Beckham had ‘a great time’ during the visit, with the footballer leaving ‘enthusiastic and inspired’.

Beckham is known to have a good relationship with the King, and appeared to sweeten the friendship last year when he gave Charles a jar of his homemade honey. The King, who has kept beehives at his royal estates, joked: ‘We shall have to do a swap.’

Speaking about his new role, Beckham referenced his own surprising passion for beekeeping that developed during lockdown.

He said: ‘It was inspiring to hear from the King about His Majesty’s foundation during my visit to Highgrove Gardens and compare beekeeping tips!

‘Having developed a love for the countryside, I’m also on a personal mission to learn more about rural skills which are so central to the foundation’s work.’

As ambassador, Beckham will promote awareness of the charity by supporting campaigns and attending events, including the upcoming King’s Foundation Awards.

He will also likely share updates about the foundation’s work to his 87.8 million Instagram followers.

The King’s Foundation, renamed to reflect Charles’s accession, is reshaping its image after its former chief executive, the King’s long-time aide Michael Fawcett, was forced to step down over a scandal involving donations from a foreign tycoon.

Two staff members were questioned by police after The Mail on Sunday exposed the scandal, but last year the investigation was closed with no charges brought.

During his Highgrove visit, the football star, who received the OBE in 2003, was also introduced to students at Highgrove, whose tuition fees and materials are covered by foundation scholarships.

He met pupils studying woodwork, furniture-making and embroidery, the latter funded by the King’s Foundation in partnership with Chanel, whose students are taught traditional hand-sewing techniques that are highly coveted by haute couture designers.

Brooklyn was spotted in a pair of Calvin Klein shorts as hopped on board a luxury yacht with pals.

The star – who is the son of footballer David Beckham and Spice Girl Victoria – put his huge collection of inkings on display, including a tattoo of his wife Nicola Peltz on his shoulder and a rose on his torso.

The photographer looked like he was having a great time as he cooled off with some water sports.

He was seen making a splash as he dived into the sea, before enjoying a paddleboard session.

It comes just days after Brooklyn’s sister Harper showed off her “matching tattoo” with Brooklyn’s wife Nicola.

The Beckham family are known for their love of body art, but luckily 12-year-old Harper’s was just a stick on.

The youngster’s sister-in-law Nicola shared the sweet throwback snap to celebrate Harper’s birthday.

In the picture the pair are seen showing off their butterfly transfer tattoos courtesy of INKED By Dani.

Brooklyn often shows off his tattoos, many of which are linked to special people or moments in his life.

In 2020, he revealed his tattoo tribute to wife Nicola as he got her name inked on his neck.

From the cryptic numbers on his arm to the touching nod to his parents, few parts of his body have remained untouched.

Across the top of his back, he has a love letter written to him by Nicola.

It reads: “My forever boy. Read this anytime you feel anxious. I want you to know how deeply loved you are.

“You have the kindest heart I’ve ever met and hope I never go a day without your love.

“I think you are so incredible. Just we can get through it all together if you breathe slow and trust. I love you beyond.

    “Love always, your future wifey.”

He previously showed off another tattoo tribute to Nicola on his arm.

“My life, my love, my truth, my breath, my reason, my beauty, my precious,” the tattoo read.

Brooklyn also had Nicola’s late grandmother’s name tattooed onto his arm in a sweet birthday gift.

Back in 2018 he made a special trip to celebrity favourite Bang Bang Tattoos in New York where he added to his extensive leg tattoos.

The tattoo is believed to be a dedication to his younger sister Harper Seven who is a budding dancer herself.

In 2019 body art fan Brooklyn proudly displayed yet another tribute to Victoria Beckham with “mama’s boy” standing out on his left pec.

And the list goes on with an array of other meaningful tatts on his body.

“I love you more than you even know! (Can we always match forever??) 🥰”

It comes as her mum and dad, Victoria and David Beckham, pulled out all the stops for a Prada inspired birthday party for her – including a designer dress made by her mum.

Harper, who turned 12 today, celebrated in style at the fashion house’s Prade Caffè in Harrods with her nearest and dearest.

The only daughter of the couple wore a silk dusty purple slip dress from Victoria’s label which is unavailable on her website.

She teamed the elegant gown with a pair of white trainers with bright pink laces and high Nike socks.

Slung over her shoulder was her birthday present, a Prada Re-Edition handbag worth £950.

Victoria, 49, was bursting with pride as she shared a selection of snaps from the family’s day out.

She wrote in the caption: “Harper Seven is 12!! (almost) Prada party for Harper Seven CHIC!”

In one of the photos, Harper beamed as she sat beside the former football ace in the luxurious cafe.

Harper’s brothers Romeo, 20 and Cruz, 18 also joined her for the fancy trip.

Romeo showed off his arm tattoos in a white graphic t-shirt and his trademark silver chains around his neck.

Cruz, who has become known for his quirky dress sense, wore a pair of hot pink sunglasses and a purple shirt.

BECK AT IT David and Victoria Beckham in new row as neighbour slams ‘pointless’ plans for £12m Cotswolds mansion

FOOTBALL legend David Beckham has been slammed by a neighbour over his plans for a giant greenhouse and allotment.

Becks has been granted planning permission for a glasshouse and raised kitchen garden so he and his wife Victoria can grow their own fruit and veg.

And he’s now asked for planning permission to construct another road into his Cotswolds pad while the greenhouse is built.

    But a neighbour has objected.

She told the local council: “Hi, I object to this because it is a needless use of materials. There is already an access road to the property so what is the point of laying another road just to build a fancy greenhouse? That seems pointless and a waste of resources.”

And he’s asked planners if he can build a new access road to link his rural retreat to an existing farm track away from the original road into his home.

He wants to divert building traffic down the new route and has asked the council for permission to lay a 250 m road.

A planning application to the local council revealed: “This homeowner application seeks planning permission to create a kitchen garden with raised beds, together with a traditional glasshouse.

“The proposed kitchen garden is laid out in a formal style, with raised beds arranged in a symmetrical format around a central path.

“The glasshouse is traditional in style and faces south, overlooking the kitchen garden, framed by fruit trees, and set against the backdrop of a formal hedge and an established mixed native hedge.”

The Sun has contacted a Beckham representative for comment.

It’s certainly not the first time Posh and Becks have been embroiled in a planning row with their neighbours.

Back in 2020, the power couple found themselves in a dispute with one of their London acquaintances – with the council even suggesting they meet up to resolve their differences.

David and Victoria won the battle against the neighbour, who bought a property near their posh £31 million townhouse in west London and submitted plans to overhaul it including drastic internal alterations, a slate roof with roof light and a completely new outdoor space.

The application was refused after strong complaints from the famous pair – but the neighbour didn’t give up and resubmitted further plans to the council.

The A-listers were worried that the neighbour’s architect was creating a whole new patio area including a balcony on the first floor, which may have overlooked their back garden.

They were also concerned that a new large roof light would be seen from their house and spoil their ambience.

The neighbour then sought pre-planning advice from the council and a Senior Planning Officer.

In a blow to the Beckhams, the council recommended that the new plans were approved, but also suggested mediation.

They said: “I encourage you to discuss your proposals with all neighbours with a boundary with your site, as we will advise them of any application. The proposed rear terrace would not give rise to overlooking to the rear.

“It also appears likely that it would not allow for overlooking of the mews properties either side… in all other respects there are no concerns with the impact of the proposal on the living conditions of neighbouring occupiers in terms of light, sense of enclosure, noise or privacy.”

Lionel Messi and David Beckham are praised for their ‘humbleness’ as Inter Miami duo pose for countless selfies with fans while out in Florida

Lionel Messi and David Beckham took time to pose for pictures with fans during recent outings in South Florida – and fans praised their ‘humbleness’ afterwards on social media.

Messi, who missed Miami’s 2-1 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps on May 25, looked to be leaving a dinner when a slew of fans approached him for a photo, including one who put his arm around him.

‘I met him once at a dollar store,’ one fan said of Beckham. ‘Class act. Guy knows how to save.

Still, he’s having an MVP-caliber campaign with 10 goals and 10 assists so far.

The video of Messi taking pictures with fans comes as he was heard speaking English publicly for the first time ever in an ad for Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s new Bad Boys movie.

In the short clip, which was posted to the Bad Boys Instagram page, Messi walks up to Smith and Lawrence’s doorstep before uttering just two words.

‘Bad boys?’ he asks the pair, which left some fans stunned.

Messi will look to add to his goals tally on Wednesday night.

The Herons will host Atlanta United at Chase Stadium as they look for their 11th league win of the season.
