Victoria Beckham looked in great spirits as she enjoyed a night out with her girlfriends in Miami on Monday.

The former Spice Girls singer, 49, took to her Instagram Story as she shared a snap with a group of pals enjoying dinner and drinks as they let their hair down on a girls’ night out in the Florida city.

The mother-of-four and her friends were also joined by Harper, 12, with the youngest of the Beckham brood attending the fun evening.

Victoria looked stylish in a black denim jacket as she sat beside her daughter and model Isabel Grutman.

She was also joined by pals Sarah Blundell, Jasmine Hollowday and Mariel.

The pair enjoyed some quality time together as they joined the women at Vogue magazine for a lunch and talk last week.

Victoria looked sensational for the event as she donned a chic white suit from her upcoming Spring/Summer collection.

Pairing the suit with a simple black leather belt, she and Harper perfectly complemented each other, as her daughter donned an all black floor-length dress.

The youngest of the Beckham brood smiled in the snap with her mum, while Victoria also shared it on her story with the caption: ‘Love u so much #Harper Seven!!!’

Victoria and husband David have been busy lately after four sixths of the Beckham clan joined former President Barack Obama at a charity event last week.

The couple took their youngest children Cruz, 18, and Harper to meet Obama while throwing their support behind his charity, The Obama Foundation, where they shared sweet snaps from the meeting.

The couple posed for the images alongside the former POTUS alongside gushing captions lauding him for his work with the charity.

David took to Instagram to pen: ‘I was Honoured to spend time with @BarackObama in support of the incredible work the @ObamaFoundation is doing to empower the next generation of leaders around the world…

Lewis Hamilton believes a switch to Mercedes ‘wouldn’t make sense’ for Max Verstappen but conceded ‘anything is possible’ in Formula One.

The Dutchman has won the last three world titles with Red Bull but his future is in question after his father Jos told Mail Sport that the title-winning team would ‘explode’ unless Christian Horner stands down as boss.

The 50-year-old was exonerated of charges of ‘coercive behaviour’ towards a female colleague last week, before a leaked email produced evidence purporting to show Horner sending suggestive WhatsApp messages to his colleague.

Verstappen Snr and Horner were involved in a heated argument with Horner in Red Bull’s hospitality area in Bahrain last week.

The former also held talks – and a dinner – with Mercedes boss Toto Wolff during the opening weekend of the season, fuelling speculation his son would consider a move elsewhere if the situation at Red Bull didn’t clear up.

With Hamilton set to join Ferrari, a vacancy will be available at Mercedes next season.

But while the Briton was not surprised by rumours linking Verstappen to his seat, he suggested the move would not make sense for his rival.

‘I wouldn’t say I am surprised that he is being considered. He is a great driver,’ Hamilton told reporters in Saudi Arabia, where the second race of the season takes place in Jeddah.

‘And Max in that moment did what he had to do. It was nothing on him. It was the sport that let us down and that wasn’t his fault.

‘If I was in his position I would have done the same thing, so there are no issues there.

‘If you run a team you want the best driver and a driver that brings in the eyeballs and brings in the sponsorship and he is one of those.

‘I understand it but it wouldn’t make sense for him, but it will be interesting to see.’

Hamilton pulled off a shock move of his own last month, when he announced he would leave Mercedes to join Ferrari less than a year after denying talks with the Italian marque over a huge £40million deal.

The seven-time world champion said his split from the Silver Arrows showed nothing can ever be ruled out in Formula One.

‘I think my move has shown that anything is possible, and it’s going to be a really interesting next six months or so. I don’t have any extra scoop,’ he said.

Asked of the impact Verstappen Snr’s comments would have on Red Bull, Hamilton said: ‘He is not a part of the team, he is a parent. So that’s just an opinion but it’s definitely not helpful.

‘I think it is a very thin line to walk. […] I think Max is a grown man, he’s a champion and I’m sure he can make his own decisions.’

Tyson Fury has revealed how much his younger brother Tommy earned from his fight against KSI earlier this month – and claimed how much money he has in the bank.

While on-track success continues to elude Lewis Hamilton since 2021, his off-track exploits have had much better results. Known throughout the world for his initiatives, the 7-time world champion has recently become a recipient of a special award. Per an update from GQ Magazine on their official website, Hamilton has won GQ’s ‘F1 – Transcending Powerhouse’ award. Last year, GQ launched a new award series called ‘Global Creativity Awards.’

Taking place for the second year in a row, the awards shall now honor Ferrari-bound Hamilton. Also on the list are Hunter Schafer (Hollywood Star), Danny McBride (Renaissance funnyman), Trent Reznor, and Atticus Ross (both Rock musicians turned Oscar-winning composers). American multimedia artist Lauren Halsey, Marni’s surrealistic creative director Francesco Risso, and ground-shaking Afrobeats innovator Asake also make the list of winners.

All honorees will join GQ for their “big bash” on 11th April 2024. The evening will be hosted by Emmy-winning comedy ace JB Smoove. Hamilton’s initiatives are extremely close to him, and he continues to work hard on them. Moving to Ferrari in 2025, the Briton made it a priority for Ferrari to ensure he continues working on them. As such, he had clauses around his initiatives blanketed into the deal. Ferrari Chairman John Elkann committed to embarking on a joint investment fund with Exor to contribute a little over $270 million to Hamilton’s Mission 44. Given the investment, Hamilton’s total annual earnings with Ferrari shall sit around the $400 million mark.

There is little surprise that Hamilton found the offer very lucrative. A report from GP Fans claimed Ferrari and Elkann were more than willing to join Hamilton’s initiatives. Elkann promises to embrace Hamilton’s initiatives and is excited to work on Hamilton’s mission. Meanwhile, the report also claims that the Maranello outfit was more keen on supporting Hamilton than Mercedes, which also played a role in the Briton opting to switch sides.

With Lewis Hamilton moving to Ferrari in 2025, there will soon be a vacancy in Mercedes. Many drivers are lining up to snatch the empty seat and become a member of the F1 grid. Various experts have also chimed in with their opinions over who should take the seat. While some argue in favor of youth, others claim an experienced driver should take up the seat. Speaking exclusively to The SportsRush‘s Tanish Chachra, former McLaren team member Marc Priestley believes Fernando Alonso is a good prospect.

“I personally hope that he inherits Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes. I mean, I’m not predicting it. I think it would be a very wise choice for Toto Wolff to make. I think it would be a very good move for Fernando Alonso. And I think fans worldwide would be extraordinarily excited if they knew that in 2025 there would be Max Verstappen in a Red Bull, Lewis Hamilton in a Ferrari and Fernando Alonso in a Mercedes-Benz. How exciting would that be?”

As the most experienced driver on the grid, Alonso could be a valuable asset for Mercedes. The Silver Arrows continue to struggle with the concept of their car, and Alonso could provide crucial insights into the concept and make it work much better. Additionally, with Andrea Kimi Antonelli soon to take over the reins, Alonso’s presence could also help hone the young driver’s talents and create a future world champion. The succession plan for Antonelli could stand to gain a lot from the expertise of someone like Alonso.

Since the interview, a lot has changed in the F1 scene. There have been a series of controversies at Red Bull, and various reports indicate potential key departures from the team. Max Verstappen has also become a probable departure, allowing new rumors to pop up. Some even claim the Dutchman might soon be headed to Brackley to fill Hamilton’s vacant seat.

Toto Wolff could partner up with Max Verstappen instead of Fernando Alonso

In light of recent controversies at Red Bull, it is no surprise that many people might want to move away from the team. Given his global popularity, Max Verstappen would certainly not want his name attached to any controversy, and should things implode at Red Bull, the Dutchman would want a quick way out. Given the same, chances are that he may switch to Mercedes, especially after his father and manager were spotted chatting with Toto Wolff in Bahrain this year.

Rumors of Carlos Sainz’s move to Mercedes are also gaining momentum, weakening Fernando Alonso’s case. People saw Sainz’s father coming out of the Mercedes hospitality box in Jeddah, sparking rumors of contract talks between them. Sainz’s cousin was also in the mix, as Toto Wolff walked alongside them as they made their way out.

Given that F1 will see regulation changes in 2026, many believe Mercedes will be the team to beat. After struggling with the current regulations, resurgence will be the Silver Arrows’ only goal. Their understanding of the regulations in 2026 might take them back to the top of the F1 mound.

Max Verstappen has achieved prominence by capitalizing on Red Bull’s dominance, evident via his 56 Grands Prix victories and three world championships so far. Moreover, the Austrian outfit has started their 2024 campaign with back-to-back 1-2 finishes. While doing so, Verstappen remained at the top step of the podium, claiming victories in both Sakhir and Jeddah by a margin of over 22 and 13 seconds, respectively. Interestingly, amid his continued dominance, McLaren driver Lando Norris has come up to discuss the implications of the Dutchman’s performance in Bahrain on his team.

According to Motorsportweek.com, the Briton said that Verstappen’s dominance wasn’t a matter of concern for him. This is because, according to Norris, Red Bull invested a lot of effort in developing this year’s car. Therefore, they certainly would’ve been this fast. What Norris found interesting, though, was that he was rather happy with how close McLaren could come to Red Bull.

The #4 driver said, “Even in qualifying, you know it wasn’t like he had an easy one and was that convincing. You know they started their development on that car a long time before everyone else so you’re not surprised at all. But actually you’re surprised at how close you were and how close a lot of teams were.”

Norris subsequently provided an instance to support his thoughts. He said that the difference between Red Bull and Ferrari would have been far smaller if Carlos Sainz did not get stuck trailing Sergio Perez during the middle stint in Bahrain. According to the McLaren driver, this is a major sign of hope for his squad and other teams.

Andrea Stella boosts Lando Norris’s aspirations with early development plans

Red Bull continues to be the fastest team on the grid and now that they are starting to gain an advantage even on the street circuits, the team is looking much more formidable. Ferrari and McLaren, on the other hand, are still trying to catch up to the Austrian squad. Interestingly, while Ferrari has gotten closer to Red Bull the most, McLaren appeared to be feeling the limits of their car in some areas during the Saudi weekend.

Considering this, McLaren team boss Andrea Stella recently spoke about the difficulties the team faced in maximizing the car’s strengths on various tracks. According to Motorsportweek.com, the Italian said that whoever had trailed McLaren in the first sector had lost ground. This happened because the MCL38 responds well to the fast-moving corner, where it is sufficient to execute the initial steer input.

However, according to Stella, the car begins to falter a ‘little bit’ when there are lengthy turns, like the final one. As a result, this prompts the team to lose time, which is exactly where teams like Ferrari are very strong.

Later, Stella added that keeping these issues aside, the battle remains about the development. While detailing it, he said that this development becomes very visible after your team comes with an aerodynamic upgrade.

While wrapping up, Stella mentioned that in terms of other things, a team can deliver from a mechanical or aerodynamical point of view, and, notably at the moment, McLaren has both in the pipeline. Therefore, McLaren will be delivering a few milliseconds’ worth of minor upgrades for the Australian and Japanese GP.

Contrary to the hopes of the Mercedes fans, the team’s struggles continue to haunt them. The first two races of the season were far from optimal for the Silver Arrows since the car got slower as the weekends progressed. In Jeddah, however, there was a chance for Mercedes to optimize their performance by double stacking their cars during the Safety car period. However, they opted to only bring in George Russell, raising eyebrows among the fans.

Addressing the same in a post-race debrief on the official YouTube channel of Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team, Andrew Shovlin analyzed the team strategy. He claimed uncertainty over the rest of the race hindered their thought process. Per Shovlin, the potential of a penalty for choking the pit lane was not worth the risk that early in the race.

“Well, with the benefit of hindsight, yes. We would have done that. Now, what we did not know at the time was whether there would be another incident. And the other thing we didn’t know, which is how durable the tires were going to be.”, said Shovlin.

Shovlin also detailed that had there been another safety car period, Hamilton would have benefitted most. He would have pitted accordingly and driven on optimum strategy. Meanwhile, other drivers would have been on off-set strategies, making the race more difficult for them.

However, with the luxury of hindsight, Shovlin conceded that a double-stacking strategy would have been much better. They could have gained a couple of positions through it. But there was no way of knowing this at the moment, and Hamilton ended up suffering.

‘Ifs and Buts’ surround Mercedes’ outing in Jeddah

Aside from the choice to not double stack Hamilton, one other decision had the fans scratching their heads. The 7-time world champion started on Medium tires instead of Softs. He started the race in P8, and softer tires would have aided him in gaining places. However, Mercedes decided against it. Per Shovlin, the Medium compound showed promising results in the early laps and carried a good pace.

Meanwhile, softer tires would have led to Hamilton having to pit early and lose time. Shovlin once again asserted that had they known about a safety car, they would have started Hamilton on the Softs and adjusted their strategy accordingly. It was yet again a matter of uncertainties around the race. Hence, the ‘ifs and buts’ that arise after a race all stem from the luxury of hindsight.

Tire strategies remain a pivotal point in dictating the outcome of a race. A botched strategy can lead to a driver losing race pace despite carrying the potential for a high finish. Hamilton suffered a similar fate, as he finished P9, paling in comparison to his teammate.

They might have returned home to the UK to enjoy Christmas together as a family.

But that didn’t stop Victoria Beckham from sharing pictures of her recent holiday on social media on Boxing Day.

Victoria Beckham put on a very loved-up display with her husband David as they enjoyed a meal out with their family.

The fashion designer, 49, took to Instagram on Saturday to give an insight into their festive evening out as she shared a gallery of snaps.

Victoria was joined by David, 48, their son Romeo, 21, and his girlfriend Mia, their other kids Cruz, 18, and Harper, 12, and the Spice Girl’s parents Tony and Jackie Adams.

In one snap, Victoria put on a glamorous display in a black ensemble as she cuddled up to David, who looked equally suave in a black turtleneck and blazer.

The couple, who tied the knot back in 1999, looked as smitten as ever as they sat arm-in-arm during the lavish meal.
