Is Nicola Peltz Beckham morphing into Victoria Beckham? Budding director’s wardrobe has become increasingly ‘Posh’ – from her sleek brunette locks to her love of monochrome, leather and flared suits

Nicola Peltz Beckham first started dating Brooklyn Beckham in late 2019, with the couple officially announcing their relationship on the ‘gram in early 2020.

In those early days relationship snaps, Peltz, who’s just made her directorial debut with the upcoming drama Lola, was a vision of American style – casual tees, hoodies and thanks to her modelling work, the occasional show-stopping red carpet gown.

As the 29-year-old has grown ever closer to her husband’s family though, her style has undergone something of a transformation – with her fashion designer mother-in-law seemingly influencing everything from her hair to her premiere attire.

The sartorial stars haven’t always aligned for mother and daughter-in-law – remember that very awkward wedding dress conversation?

When Brooklyn and Nicola wed in 2022, the heiress – her mother and father, Nelson and Claudia Peltz, are said to be worth a cool $2.7billion – wore a stunning couture Valentino dress.

But it wasn’t supposed to be that way. It was widely expected before the wedding that the bride-to-be would glide down the aisle in a gown made by her mother-in-law to be – Mrs VB.

However, the dress didn’t materialise, with the pop star-turned-designer apparently too busy to whip up a bridal dress.

Two years on, however, the pair appear to be getting on like a house on fire.

At the star-studded Lola premiere in Los Angeles last weekend, the family members posed in a stylish embrace for the awaiting paparazzi, with Nicola wearing an outfit by, you guessed it, Victoria Beckham.

Nicola was also joined on her big night by Brooklyn and close friend Selena Gomez.

On Instagram, Victoria posted that she ‘could not be more proud’ – and referenced that Nicola was head-to-toe in ‘custom #VictoriaBeckham’.

Clearly putting any fashion fracas behind them, the pair’s close relationship is increasingly reflected in Nicola’s current wardrobe.

The actress, model and director has, in recent years, adopted some of Victoria’s trademark looks, including adopting a more monochrome wardrobe, sporting leather and wearing her hair in a shade of deep, glossy chestnut. It’s all very Victoria Beckham.

The fashion powerhouse told Vanity Fair last week that her 90s looks have now caught the eye of her Gen-Z kids and their partners, with Nicole seemingly a particular fan.

She said: ‘It’s funny because the ‘90s have made such a comeback fashionwise, the kids are asking for some of our pieces from then.

‘A few years ago, we did sell a lot of our wardrobes for charity, but the kids cannot believe what we sold!’

Last week, Nicola shared ‘after party’ pics showing her in a sleek leather jacket and wearing shades – perhaps an homage David and Victoria’s famous biker jacket look at the Versace party in 1999.

Victoria is partial to a little pink - including a dress in her latest collection. The designer shared these snaps last year of her wearing a pale pink slip

And Nicola has also worn the shade from time to time (Pictured at a Wendy's celebration of the Strawberry Frosty)

Victoria is partial to a little pink – including a dress in her latest collection. And Nicola has also worn the shade from time to time (Pictured at a Wendy’s celebration of the Strawberry Frosty)

When she’s not rocking a sharp suit, Victoria’s casual attire often keeps to block colours, with simple accessories such as baseball caps.

The mother-of-four has been frequently seen through the decades in a Yankees cap, often teemed with lycra and a simple black vest.

And sure enough, Nicole is also a fan of a vest and cap look, sharing a photo on her Insta recently showing her wearing just that, and holding the family’s adorable white chihuahua.

When it comes to colour, like Victoria, Nicola has become increasingly averse to it for everyday looks, sticking with reliable neutrals.

However, the red carpet and big photo shoots occasionally call for a bold pop of colour, and Victoria has pale pinks in her collection this season, including a Cami Floor-Length Dress in Rosa.

What’s clear is that both women are now on the same page when it comes to fashion, which is probably the secret to their increasingly warm relationship.

  • With US heavyweight boxing at an all-time low, the country NEEDS a huge fight to rekindle interest – and … Deontay Wilder v Andy Ruiz Jr is just the ticket

With US heavyweight boxing at an all-time low, the country NEEDS a huge fight to rekindle interest – and … Deontay Wilder v Andy Ruiz Jr is just the ticket

Boxing’s primary attraction, the heavyweight division, has been built on the back of American success, with all-time greats Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson paving the way for today’s giants.

The 70s represented a historically crucial and intensely competitive period in boxing, with US heavyweights Ali, Joe Frazier and George Foreman all squaring off, and titles ‘The Rumble in the Jungle’ and ‘The Thrilla in Manila’ still eminent to this day.

The 80s also hold a special place in history, largely due to the rise of Larry Holmes, the destructive emergence of Tyson, and, of course, that epic middleweight encounter between Marvin Hagler and Thomas Hearns. It also represented the end of the two-belt era, with the IBF installed alongside the existing WBC and WBA governing bodies.

Muhammad Ali's 'Rumble in the Jungle' bout against George Foreman will be forever remembered

Mike Tyson was a dominant and terrifying force, particularly in the 80s

Americans Muhammad Ali (left) and Mike Tyson (right) were pivotal in making heavyweight boxing the worldwide spectacle it is today

Deontay Wilder became America's first heavyweight champion in nine years back in 2015

Deontay Wilder became America’s first heavyweight champion in nine years back in 2015

A notable shift came in the 90s. Indeed, there were American contenders galore, including the likes of Oliver McCall, Shannon Briggs, Riddick Bowe and Evander Holyfield, but it was Britain’s Lennox Lewis who ended the decade as the No 1, becoming undisputed champion in 1999.

He remains the division’s last undisputed champion.

US boxing at heavyweight continued to dwindle in the 2000s, with the Klitschko brothers, Wladimir and Vitali, embarking on their conquest for long-term dominance after Lewis hung up his gloves in 2003.

Fast-forward circa 20 years, and the heavyweight division is once again ruled by those placed outside of America. After their recent stints in the limelight, perhaps the onus is now on Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz Jr. to bring their country back to prominence in the land of the giants.

Two former champions looking to rebuild; two fighters signed to PBC; a bout that would offer a guaranteed knockout; and an opportunity to quickly climb back to the top of the division – a matchup between the pair certainly makes sense.

But first, some context: it was Wilder – or the Bronze Bomber – who ended America’s arduous nine-year weight for a heavyweight champion in 2015, when he dethroned the short-serving Bermane Stiverne to become the WBC titleholder with what is to this day his one and only points victory.

America’s most recent heavyweight champion, Briggs, was still making headlines with his relentless, but ultimately futile, pursuit of Wladimir Klitschko, but the freakishly powerful Wilder was finally bringing primetime heavyweight boxing back to the US.

A succession of KO wins over Eric Molina, Johann Duhaupas, Artur Szpilka, Chris Arreola, Gerald Washington, Stiverne and Luis Ortiz followed before the American’s first encounter with Tyson Fury, which controversially ended a draw.

Fury survived two knockdowns and came on strong in the dying seconds of the encounter

Wilder was largely out-boxed by Fury, who was competing in his first genuine fight following a two-year layoff and having lost a staggering 140 pounds, but the American scored two crucial knockdowns, with many still questioning how the Gypsy King survived the 12th.

His reputation as perhaps the biggest puncher in boxing history remained intact, though a blueprint to beat the Bronze Bomber was now there for all to see. Nonetheless, America still had their champion, and another would soon follow.

That came in the unlikely shape of Ruiz Jr – not just because he doesn’t quite share the Adonis physique of his sorry victim – as he shocked the world by knocking out Anthony Joshua at Madison Square Garden.

Joshua, in making his US debut, had intended to do so against Brooklyn-born Jarrell Miller, before ‘Big Baby’ rather emphatically failed a drugs test. Mexican-American Ruiz Jr – born in California – was drafted in and secured a result no-one had foreseen.

After being knocked down in round three, Ruiz Jr went on a four-round onslaught before finally getting rid of his British counterpart in the seventh. He collected the WBA, WBO and IBF world titles, and suddenly all the belts were held in the US.

With both Wilder and Ruiz Jr signed to PBC, a path to an historic all-American undisputed showdown materialized; perhaps the spell of European domination was at an end.

Ruiz Jr would just need to beat Joshua in their contractually-agreed rematch, while Wilder – who fought Dominic Brezeale and Luis Ortiz before taking on Fury once more – certainly had the time to fit in a clash for all the marbles.

Tyson Fury knocks out Deontay Wilder to retain WBC title

Boxing rarely goes to plan, however, and Ruiz Jr was soundly beaten by Joshua in their Saudi rematch, while Wilder more recently fell to a pair of brutal stoppage defeats to Fury, the second of which took place instead of an undisputed clash between AJ and the Gypsy King.

So, from the precipice of undisputed glory, both Wilder and Ruiz Jr instead find themselves back on the periphery of the heavyweight scene, with the Americans largely out of the equation once more.

Yes, you have the likes of Michael Hunter, Charles Martin and Jared Anderson in the mix – Jarrell Miller, too, following his return to the ring in June – but it’s unlikely at best that any of them will win a world title in the near future.

That’s where Wilder and Ruiz Jr come into play; the American duo – despite their reputations taking beating in recent years – are proven threats to those at the top of the division.

And importantly, both fighters are intent on restoring their pride and recapturing their titles. For Ruiz Jr, the chance to exhibit this intent will come on September 4, when he fights an aged but still handy Ortiz.

An overweight Ruiz Jr put in an uninspired performance as he claimed a unanimous decision victory over Chris Arreola in May last year – needing to overcome an early knockdown to do so – in what is his one and only outing since suffering defeat to Joshua.

The Mexican-American will square off against Cuban heavyweight Luis Ortiz on September 4

The Mexican-American will square off against Cuban heavyweight Luis Ortiz on September 4

Ortiz has suffered just two defeats during his 35-fight pro career, both to Wilder, and though now 43 years old – with speculation that number could actually be higher – a win over the Cuban would resemble a step in the right direction for Ruiz Jr.

What would come next for Ruiz Jr should he emerge victorious? Well, there’s only one man he wants. ‘We’re actually training hard,’ he told FightHype. ‘If I win [against Ortiz], I would want to fight Wilder if he comes out of retirement.

‘I got all these houses, but my dreams are not done,’ he continued. ‘I want that WBC belt. I told my son, “I’m not going to retire until I have this WBC belt”. Even if I lost again and lost another time, I’m still fighting until I get this belt.’

Wilder meanwhile in May outlined his intention to return to the ring, having previously contemplated retirement. ‘I can’t stop right here,’ he said. ‘I must continue my journey. I have to, I have to.’

The Bronze Bomber more recently in June revealed he was still only considering a return, but boxing promoter Frank Warren has since claimed he’s heard rumblings of a matchup between Wilder and Robert Helenius in October.

Wilder’s Manager Shelly Finkel has also recently confirmed his fighter’s return, stating they are keen on the winner of Joshua’s eagerly-anticipated rematch against Oleksandr Usyk on August 20. He also ruled out a possible bout against Derek Chisora.

‘Maybe the winner of Usyk and Joshua,’ Finkel told Planet Sport when asked who Wilder could fight. ‘I don’t know what Fury is doing?

‘Maybe if Joshua wins it’s a huge fight in the UK (between AJ and Wilder). There’s so many intangibles so we’re looking to see what happens in that fight (Usyk vs Joshua).’

Finkel did, however, acknowledge that Fury will get first dibs at the winner should he come out of ‘retirement’, and, regardless of what the Gypsy King says, that will almost certainly be the case – particularly if it’s Joshua who emerges victorious.

But even beyond Fury, neither Wilder or Ruiz Jr will likely be next in line to face the winner, with Joe Joyce patiently awaiting a shot at the WBO belt. The Bronze Bomber remains the No 1 contender for Fury’s WBC belt but, as stated, few believe we’ve seen the last of the Briton yet.

What would put either Wilder or Ruiz Jr into contention once more, though, is a win over the other. Given the timeframes of their returns, a match-up between the pair could conceivably take place in December or early 2023.

Where does Tyson Fury’s win leave the world heavyweight scene?

Fury will get the first shot at the winner of Usyk vs Joshua, with few believing his talk of retirement

Wilder would send an ominous warning out to the division with a KO win over Ruiz Jr

Ruiz Jr would establish himself as a top heavyweight once more with victory over Wilder

A fight between Wilder and Ruiz Jr could reignite the US scene in the heavyweight division

Undoubtedly one of the best fights possible outside of the world title mix, and one that promoter Al Haymon is reportedly keen to make, a matchup would bring both fighters back into the spotlight and set the victor up for a title shot next year.

Wilder could send an ominous warning to the heavyweight division with a knockout win, while any victory for Ruiz Jr would put to bed the prevalent questions of his desire. A loss for either could well also spell the end.

With such a clash of personalities and styles, a fight between the two could also reignite the interest of US boxing fans in the heavyweight division.

While Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr take center-stage in the welterweight division, and the likes of Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis spearhead the lightweight division, the declines of Wilder and Ruiz Jr have left the heavyweight division lacking in terms of US representation.

That could all change if the pair are to be matched, however. And who knows, perhaps the winner could fight for – and win – a heavyweight world title next year, and America could once again have someone to cheer on in the land of the giants.

Nakisa Bidarian Bashes Derek Chisora’s Claims About Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul

The world is watching as ‘The Problem Child’ Jake Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) puts on his finest boxing gloves in preparation to face the ‘Baddest Man on The Planet’ Mike Tyson (50-6-2, 44 KOs). With this rather unlikely matchup in the books, many names in the world of boxing have voiced their concerns about the fight. Meanwhile, Most Valuable Promotions co-founder Nakisa Bidarian laid to rest heavyweight champ Derek Chisora’s (34-13, 23 KOs) claims about the fight.

In a recent conversation with Radio Rahim, Chisora claimed that the duo would end up using headgear in the fight.

“I know for a fact they are using 18oz gloves and head guards if I’m not mistaken. So, we’d be watching a sparring match when pushed on whether it wouldn’t be a real fight. I dunno man; how old is Jake Paul? A guy who is 24, fighting a guy who’s f**king 56. It’s a f**king joke,” Chisora said.

Chisora further mentioned that he would not pay to watch the duo fight. “Only kids will pay to watch that. And parents will give their kids money to watch that,” he said.

However, it looks like his claims are far from true. In a tweet by Michael Benson, Bidarian revealed that Paul and Tyson will not use any headgear while fighting.

Not the only one who disputed Chisora’s claims

It looks like Bidarian was not the only one who felt like Chisora’s claims were baseless. Sports journalist Ariel Helwani believes the fight will be a ‘no strings attached’ affair.

    >

In the latest episode of The MMA Hour, Helwani mentioned that he had spoken to their teams and that they were working “on a few important details.”

“Is it pro or is it an exhibition? They want pro, but that’s up to the Texas commission. We’ll have to wait and see. Weight? I’m told heavyweight. Rounds? I’m working on that as well,” he said.

Helwani then turned his attention to Chisora’s statements and brushed them off as rumors. “I saw an interview with Derek Chisora where he said there would be headgear. I was told there’s absolutely no headgear involved. This is going to look like your typical boxing match,” he said.

Formula One teenage star Oliver Bearman looks ahead to Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari move and insists the seven-time world champions’ presence will ‘rub off in all departments’…as he reflects on his stunning debut in Saudi Arabia

Oliver Bearman has reflected on his stunning Formula One debut in Saudi Arabia and looked forward to Lewis Hamilton‘s switch to Ferrari at the end of the season.

The 18-year-old was drafted in to take the place of Carlos Sainz at late notice ahead of Friday’s qualifying last week, before going on to finish seventh overall in Jeddah, scoring six points for his side.

It was a whirlwind 24 hours for the driver, who reportedly only found out he’d be taking Sainz’s place a few hours before qualifying.

Bearman, who is participating in Formula 2 this season for the Scuderia, was lauded by the likes of Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Max Verstappen for his eye-catching start and he revealed it was a ‘proud’ moment to receive praise from the champions past and present.

‘It was a proud day for me. For them to say these kind words was really nice – especially the older guys like Fernando and Lewis.’ He told BBC Sport.

Bearman will be joined at Ferrari by Hamilton next season after the seven-time world champion announced a sensational switch to the Italian manufacturer ahead of this campaign.

The teenager admitted that he is unlikely to deal with the 39-year-old on a day-to-day basis but he still expects much of his expertise to permeate the team.

‘Although I won’t be working directly with him, I’m sure his knowledge and experience will rub off in all departments.’ He added.

‘I’m doing a lot of [simulator] work with [Ferrari] so hopefully I can learn a thing or too from him and his wealth of experience.

‘It’s a real honour to even be associated with him in the same team and hopefully he can push everyone forward and bring great success.’

The 6ft 3in driver, who joined Ferrari’s driver academy at the age of 16, is considered among many within the sport as one of the next big talents rising through the ranks.

And there’s no doubt many team bosses will be keeping tabs on him over the coming years, with reports emerging this week that he could secure himself a permanent spot in Formula One next season.

While Sainz is set to make way for Hamilton at Ferrari in 2025, there may be no seat for Bearman at the Prancing Horse just yet. But according to The Sun he may be a favourite to join their customer team Haas, with Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg out of contract at the end of the season.

Even so, Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur has revealed what this season could look like for the reserve driver, with Bearman set to return to F2 for the upcoming Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, before starting FP1 sessions with Haas.

KSI has revealed the origin story behind his name, says people are 'fuming' with him because of it

KSI has revealed the origin behind his YouTube name and explained why it left certain people “fuming” following his superstar success.

YouTuber turned rapper, Prime owner and boxer KSI has been the name on much of the combat world’s lips since Saturday, having lost to Tommy Fury by a controversial unanimous decision in Manchester.

Fury stayed unbeaten as a professional boxer with the win, despite being docked a point for illegal shots to the back of his opposition’s head, while KSI (real name Olajide Olatunji) tasted defeat for the first time in a boxing ring.

Indeed, KSI was furious after the loss, labelling the scores “a robbery” and “outrageous” while promising to appeal.

Despite his prominence across multiple fields, KSI has retained his YouTube alias for all his ventures, rather than using his actual name.

According to KSI, the name originated from a Halo clan back in his Xbox 360 days and his desire to become a member of said clan.

As he explains in the above video, KSI revealed he was known as ‘KSI Olajidebt,’ which he initially also used on his YouTube brand before eventually dropping the ending.

Speaking on the origins of his name, he said: “KSI actually came from a Halo clan, so this Halo clan called ‘KSI.’

“I, as a kid, really wanted to join the clan, so my name was just Olajidebt on the Xbox 360.

“I remember going to this chat and being like, ‘Oh, I want to be part of the KSI clan.’ And they were like, ‘Ah, okay, you’re gonna have to change your name to KSI Olajidebt,’ blah, blah, blah.

“I said, ‘All right, cool, I’ve changed it, oh my God, am I part of the clan?’ And they were like, ‘Yeah, welcome.’

“And I’m like, ‘Yo, this is sick!’ And then eventually, obviously, the whole Halo phase went and I was just stuck with this name, so I kind of just kept the whole KSI part and just made it my own.

“And now it’s crazy because that clan is just fuming [laughs] because now they all look like fanboys of me.”

Mike Tyson Falls Short Of Ali’S Legacy: Unveiling Why He Doesn’T Make The Top 10 Heavyweight List!

Fans were drawn to Mike Tyson because of he relentless style of fighting. The peek-a-boo style, combined with his reflexes and power, made him something to marvel over.

He didn’t look like the traditional fighters. Tyson didn’t wear a fancy robe to the ring, or even socks and underwear, for that matter. Not having those things made him feel more barbaric, but that isn’t why he doesn’t make the grade as one of the top 10 boxers of all time.

It’s simply that the following 10 were better…

    Top 10 Heavyweights

    1. Muhammad Ali

    2. Joe Louis

If you polled boxing fans and asked them which all-time fight they want to see most, the better portion of those fans would likely say Muhammad Ali vs. Mike Tyson.

They want to see Ali fight because most boxing fans consider Muhammad Ali the best boxer of all time. He beat the menacing Sonny Liston, shocking the boxing public, and later in his career he beat the unbeatable George Foreman. Unless you have Joe Louis No. 1, it’s Ali atop your list.

    3. Lennox Lewis

    4. Rocky Marciano

I have Lennox Lewis at No. 3 all-time, because he beat every fighter worth anything during his career. He cleaned out the division, including a knockout over Tyson.

Rocky Marciano is fourth on my list, because he’s the only champion to never lose his title. You can question the level of talent during his run, but at the end of the day nobody could stop him in 49 career fights.

    5. George Foreman

    6. Joe Frazier

Until Ali defeated him, George Foreman was considered to be unbeatable. I think he did enough in the first part of his career to make this list, but the second part of his career puts him in the top five.

Joe Frazier only lost to two fighters, Muhammad Ali and George Foreman, No.1 and No.5 on my list of all-time fighters—not bad if you ask me. Joe fought in a time when the heavyweight division was at its best. The third Ali fight is the most brutal display of boxing.

    7. Larry Holmes

    8. Jack Dempsey

I know some of you are thinking, “Mike Tyson beat Holmes,” and that is true. However, he didn’t beat him in his prime; he beat a two-year retired Larry Holmes. Not the Holmes that won 48 consecutive fights.

Jack Dempsey is in at eight on the list, and in some he opinions should be higher. One of the most dominant the sport has ever seen, he could box or slug it out toe-to-toe.

    9. Sonny Liston

    10. Jack Johnson

Sonny Liston was thought to be as unbeatable as Marciano. Many boxing historians believe if Marciano had stayed around to fight him, that would have been his first loss of his career. If Muhammad Ali hadn’t beat Liston, nobody at the time was going to do it.

Jack Johnson is regarded as one of the best ever, and on some other lists he’s higher than he is on mine. The reason that Johnson and Dempsey are lower on my list has everything to do with the era. They might have been higher if their time frame had been different. Like all other sports, boxers got better as time progressed.

The Career of Iron Mike Tyson

Tyson exploded onto the boxing scene. There wasn’t a lot of film on Tyson because he made short work of his opponents. He would go on to be the youngest heavyweight champion in boxing history, passing the record held by another Cus D’Amato fighter.

The foundation was set up for Tyson to become the greatest of all time. Even Muhammad Ali, who always proclaimed to be the greatest, believed Tyson would end up being better than anyone who ever put on boxing gloves.

In all of his 83 race starts, Alex Albon has only managed to claim podiums on two occasions. Despite driving for three teams, such as Toro Rosso, Red Bull, and Williams, the Thai-British driver has only scored two podiums in 2020 as luck hasn’t favored him. Following the podium draught, Albon has jokingly made a bizarre wish, hoping to break the curse.

In the recent F1: Beyond The Grid podcast, Albon joked, “We need something. Max and Lewis take each other out, and then Charles and Carlos, or we’ll get a few of them out. It would need something [like this].” Driving for Williams, Albon has a slim chance of claiming a podium in the current season. Although he has come close to scoring points this season, some unlucky events have prevented him from reaching the podium. Therefore, his bizarre wish seems understandable.

Albon’s first podium of his F1 career was in the 2020 Tuscan Grand Prix. The race started with Max Verstappen, Pierre Gasly, Kimi Raikkonen, and Romain Grosjean’s collision. Apart from them, Carlos Sainz, Esteban Ocon, Antonio Giovinazzi, Nicholas Latifi, and Kevin Magnussen failed to complete the race. This put Albon in an advantageous position for the P3 finish.

The second podium came in the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix, where Albon finished in a similar P3 position. This race also saw Sergio Perez DNF.

How did Lewis Hamilton jeopardize Alex Albon’s race win and podium finish?

There were at least two more occasions on which Albon could have not just scored the podium but also won the race. But, on both those occasions, Lewis Hamilton crashed into him.

Albon’s tough luck against Hamilton started in Brazil in 2019 when the Thai-British driver collided with the seven-time world champion at Interlagos. While defending his P2 against Hamilton, Albon’s right rear tire touched with the Mercedes driver’s left front tire.

This sent him spinning off the track, beaching him. Later, in the 2020 Austrian Grand Prix, Hamilton’s contact with the 27-year-old again sent him spinning.

Lewis Hamilton, however, accepted his fault for the collision in Austria. He apologized to Albon after the race and accepted the five-second time penalty by the stewards that sent him to P4 from P2.

Mike Tyson Brutally Humiliated By Ex-WWE Star: Tyson Fury Is The Best Heavyweight Ever, Not Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson is most definitely one of the most legendary professional boxers in the history of the sport, and he attended the US Open recently, with fans suggesting he looked high on mushrooms, as seen below. Triller’s latest event featured Evander Holyfield squaring off against Vitor Belfort and getting knocked out in over a minute within the first round. Due to the match’s reception, new regulations will be imposed and that includes banning exhibition matches. Due to this, Mike Tyson and Holyfield may be banned from Triller. Sylvester Stallone has now said Tyson Fury is the best heavyweight ever, not Mike Tyson, in a new interview with Fury.

Mike Tyson recently was involved in an incident, where he punched a passenger named Melvin Townsend, who was bloodied after Tyson hit him in the head many times. This was due to Mike Tyson harassing him and then some.

Mike Tyson recently stated in an interview that he would prefer to appear in WWE over AEW, even if he was offered less money by WWE than Tony Khan and AEW. These remarks generated a lot of buzz and sparked debates among fans and experts.

In response to Tyson’s comments, AEW wrestler Matt Menard criticized him on Twitter, calling him a “mark.” The term “mark” in the wrestling industry is often used to describe someone who is easily fooled or manipulated by a performer’s character or gimmick.

Menard’s tweet suggests that he believes Tyson is naive or gullible for preferring WWE over AEW, despite AEW’s success and growing popularity. The tweet sparked a reaction from fans, with some defending Tyson and others agreeing with Menard’s comments.

Despite Getting “Humiliated” in Front of Millions, Mike Tyson Picks Losing in $7,300,000 Fight as Greatest of His Boxing Career

n his two-decade-long career, Mike Tyson saw the face of defeat six times. An outstanding performance in the post-Muhammad Ali era made him the youngest Heavyweight champion. Later, adding one belt after another, he became a unified champion. Hence, it would be natural for many to think Tyson would pick one of the bouts he fought in his prime as the most significant one of his career if given a choice. But surprisingly, that’s not the case. The match he revealed in a lively discussion with Francis Ngannou turned out to be one where, although he pocketed over $7 million, it left him humbled in front of scores of fans and followers.

Roughly two months from now, ‘The Predator’ will meet ‘The Gyspy King.’ As much as the news on the Heavyweight crossover took many by surprise, reports of Mike Tyson joining the Cameroonian-French fighter’s camp astounded everyone. Clips of the two training together have been going viral for some time. Ngannou was also the guest in one of the most recent episodes of Hotboxin’.

So, the two joined for @Complex‘s ‘GOAT Talk.’ They only needed to pick a card and answer the GOAT question. The first question was about the most outstanding professional wrestler of all time. While Ngannou stated Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair was Mike Tyson’s choice. The next card quizzed the duo about the animal they felt was most significant. It was interesting to see when Ngannou mentioned the lion. Tyson stated, “You know, a Lion’s more of a p*mp mentality, uh, ideology, because he does no work and gets all the benefits.”

Then Mike Tyson shared that the knockout he held dearest to his heart – the Larry Holmes bout – allowed him to avenge Muhammad Ali’s 1980 loss at the hands of ‘The Easton Assassin.’ For ‘The Predator,’ the Alistair Overeem knockout shot up. Then, the two discussed the GOAT sneakers and the fashion era! The GOAT workout song revealed Drake‘s ‘God’s Plan’ for Ngannou and Tupac‘s ‘Ambitionz as a Ridah’ for Tyson.

Both champions agreed that Jon Jones remained the greatest mixed martial arts fighter ever. Then the question came: “GOAT Mike Tyson fight.” The youngest Heavyweight champion replied, “Listen, it’s weird. It has to be my loss to Buster Douglas.” He reasoned that the bout had made him a better fighter. Getting disgraced in front of so many people and then making a comeback speaks volumes about such a person. Tyson said, “.. you’re getting humiliated in front of millions and millions of people and overcoming.. that’s a winner.”

Though the former managed to send Douglas down in the eighth round, it soon became clear that the Ohioan had come prepared. In the tenth round, a flurry of combinations saw Mike Tyson touch the canvas for the first time in his career. He managed to get up. However, the referee had by that time counted him out. Douglas’s happiness lasted only a few months as Evander Holyfield removed his title in October.

  • Fans Still Jump In To Support Mike Tyson’S Past “Delusional” Remarks About Floyd Mayweather For Muhammad Ali Comparison, Resurfaced Video Goes Viral

Fans Still Jump In To Support Mike Tyson’S Past “Delusional” Remarks About Floyd Mayweather For Muhammad Ali Comparison, Resurfaced Video Goes Viral

Mike Tyson is the youngest heavyweight champion in boxing. Furthermore, he has etched an ineffaceable legacy in boxing. Therefore, his words carry immense weight in the sport. However, in a recently resurfaced video, we see an agitated ‘Iron Mike.’ This is because of an unusual comparison that irked the legend. The interviewer asked Mike about Floyd Mayweather placing himself above Muhammad Ali when it comes to boxing prowess.

As we all know, ‘Money’ fought and beat some of the best in his era, including Canelo Alvarez, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, and Manny Pacquiao. However, critics argue that he often fought opponents past or not yet in their prime. On the other hand, Ali dominated the most menacing era in the heavyweight division. He beat champions like Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier, and George Foreman. For many boxing fans, unlike Mayweather, Ali fought opponents at the peak of their careers. Speaking of which, Mike went to the extent of calling Mayweather “delusional.” Moreover, fans have supported the opinion of ‘Kid Dynamite.’

Why did Mike Tyson call Mayweather ‘delusional’?

Floyd Mayweather made a bold statement about Ali in an interview a couple of years ago. He said, “Is Ali the same fighter that got beat by a fighter with seven fights? Leon Spinks beat Muhammad Ali when he only had seven fights. We’re just telling the truth. Next.”

When the question of comparing Mayweather and Ali was posed, Tyson almost lost his cool. He responded by saying, “He’s very delusional. He can’t listen. Um, if he was anywhere near that realm of greatness, like Ali, he’d be able to take his kids to school by himself. Okay, he can’t even take his kid to school by himself, and yet he’s talking about how he’s great. Greatness is not about guarding oneself from the people…” Furthermore, fans too have an array of opinions on Mike’s response.

Starting the discussion, a fan claimed that Mike has some serious “jealousy and envy issues” against Floyd Mayweather.

Another fan opined that he doesn’t think it’s jealousy. According to him, Mike has always been protective of his idol, Ali. Furthermore, he also added the Larry Holmes incident as an example.

Next, a user resonated with Mike’s stance and said that Ali’s greatness and reverence transcends beyond boxing.

However, another fan had a contrary opinion. According to him, Tyson was a hater and it needed no further explanation.

Furthermore, a fan added a historical insight by saying that anyone that followed Mike, knows the amount of respect and high regard he has for Ali.

Fans are divided on Tyson’s comments. Some accuse him of jealousy, while others agree with his reverence for Ali. Tyson’s words spark a debate on what defines a boxing legend.

  • Tyson Fury warned by Roy Jones Jr that taking punch from Francis Ngannou ‘could be fatal’.

Tyson Fury warned by Roy Jones Jr that taking punch from Francis Ngannou ‘could be fatal’.

Tyson Fury must be at his elusive best against Francis Ngannou or risk serious injury, according to boxing legend Roy Jones Jr.

‘Gypsy King’ has signed up for what many people believe is a lucrative mismatch with the former UFC champion who will be making his boxing debut in Saudi Arabia on October 28.

Ngannou is known for his knockout power and is currently working with heavyweight icon Mike Tyson to make it translate to the squared circle.

Jones Jr, who has held world titles in four different weight classes during his glittering career, is a fan of the match-up and believes Ngannou has a genuine chance of pulling off an upset due to his scary power.

“You have to love Fury versus Ngannou,” he told Sporting Post.

“Everybody else is doing it, why can’t he? It’s an interesting fight. If Ngannou hits you it could be fatal. He can punch and if he catches you right, he can be a problem. He hasn’t had any pro boxing experience, but he does have fighting experience and he knows how to punch.

“So, fighting experience, he knows how to punch, and Dewey Cooper and Mike Tyson are training him – they are going to put him in position to land that one shot he needs. And in boxing, guess what, it only takes one.”

The 54-year-old believes ‘Iron Mike’ being in Ngannou’s corner could be key on fight night.

“Mike Tyson will try to turn Francis Ngannou into a wrecking machine, that’s what he needs to be and why he probably brought Tyson in,” Jones Jr added.

“You can’t stand outside and box Tyson Fury, he’s going to kill you, so you got to go in there and try and wreck him and if you don’t, you’re going to lose.

“In a 12-round boxing match, there’s no way you can beat Fury. He knows too much and that’s what he does, so you have got to turn into a Mike Tyson style wrecking ball.”

Amazingly, Jones Jr is still competing despite being in his mid-fifties.

The 66-10 fighter last fought in April when he lost an eight-round majority decision to former UFC lightweight champion Anthony ‘Showtime’ Pettis.

Prior to that, he hadn’t fought professionally since 2018 and was only seen in the ring when he welcomed Tyson out of his 15-year retirement for a lucrative exhibition bout.

The youngest heavyweight champion in history is happily retired once again, but Roy Jones Jr plans to continue his Hall of Fame career for a little bit longer.
