Simulation shows what Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight would really look like – and predicts the clash will be over in round 2!

A simulation of a fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul predicted the bout would come to a conclusive end in the second round.

The combat sports world was rocked on Thursday by the news that Paul will take on the former undisputed heavyweight king in a clash set to be broadcast on Netflix.

The event is set to take place at the 80,000-capacity AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 20.

It is not yet clear whether the clash will be an exhibition or an officially sanctioned professional contest.

The pair have been in talks to face one another inside the ring for some time, with Tyson revealing last year that attending Paul’s clash with Tommy Fury led to him considering a return to the ring.

As such a fan-made simulation from the 2010 game Fight Night Champion was posted online earlier this year.

In the simulation Tyson dominates the YouTube star turned boxer, scoring a knockdown in the opening frame before knocking Paul out with a left hook in the second round.

In a trailer for the bout released by the streaming giant the 57-year-old Tyson insisted he is looking forward to the challenge of facing Paul.

‘I’m very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul,’ he said.

‘He’s grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a “kid” can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT.’

Paul, who won his latest fight against Ryan Bourland on Saturday, wrote on Instagram: ‘It’s time to put Iron Mike to sleep.’

He added: ‘It’s crazy to think that in my second pro fight, I went viral for knocking out Nate Robinson on Mike Tyson’s undercard.

‘Now, less than four years later, I’m stepping up to face Tyson myself to see if I have what it takes to beat one of boxing’s most notorious fighters and biggest icons.

‘My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion ever, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. This will be the fight of a lifetime.’

The fight will mark Tyson’s return to the ring nearly four years after his eight-round exhibition with Roy Jones Jr in 2020.

Tyson’s final professional contest came in 2005, where he was defeated by Irishman Kevin McBride, retiring on his stool after six rounds to end his career with a record of 50 wins and 5 losses.

Fury: I’m Named After [Mike Tyson] And Now I’m In The Opposite Corner From Him, It’s Crazy

Tyson Fury had to laugh at the irony.

The unbeaten two-time and reigning lineal heavyweight champion has taken great pride in his having been named after former undisputed champ Mike Tyson. So, it came as a bit of a shock when he learned that his next fight would come with the Hall of Fame legend working the corner of his opponent, former UFC heavyweight king and pro boxing debutant Francis Ngannou.

Is Tyson Fury named after Mike Tyson? - Quora

“He thinks he’s in a dream? F——’ hell, I’m in a dream,” Fury laughed of the situation during Thursday’s official press conference to announce their October 28 crossover bout in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. “I’m named after the guy and now I’m in the opposite corner from him. It’s crazy.”

England’s Fury (33-0-1, 24KOs) will enter the ring without his WBC title at stake versus Ngannou. Their scheduled ten-round heavyweight contest will air live on TNT Sport Box Office in the U.K. and on ESPN+ Pay-Per-View in the U.S.

The event has already attracted a lot of attention for a variety of reasons. Added to the storyline was the revelation that Mike Tyson has taken the lead in preparing Ngannou’s transition from the octagon to the boxing ring.

Boxing: Prime Tyson Fury or prime Mike Tyson? Evander Holyfield makes his pick | Marca

The union has been four years in the making, as revealed during the presser by Ngannou, a Cameroon-born boxer who now lives and trains in Las Vegas.

“It’s actually hurtful. I’m about to cry my eyes out,” joked Fury. “If I knew it was personal and not business, I would take it seriously. But this is strictly business. Mike Tyson is doing a job for Francis. He’s a boxing trainer now, fair play to him.

“It’s surreal for me. Imagine as a baby you’re named after Mike Tyson. Then that baby goes on to become world heavyweight champion. Then, that heavyweight champion goes and fights somebody else and the guy you’re named after is training the guy.”

Francis Ngannou is a world-class UFC fighter and the current UFC heavyweight champion. He is famously known for being the hardest puncher in the world. However, recently, Ngannou tested his skills on a punching machine, but could not meet fans’ expectations.

The video shows Ngannou punching hard on the machine, and interestingly, pictures of legendary boxer Mike Tyson can also be spotted. The UFC heavyweight uses his punching power on the Tyson machine and scores 804 points, which is far from the highest score.

When football superstars Neymar Jr. and Mbappe displayed their punching power

Mbappe and Neymar are among the most popular footballers in the world. The two superstars are teammates at the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) football club. ESPN ringside once posted a video of the two using a punching machine, which quickly grabbed mainstream media attention.

In the video, the two can be seen putting their punching power to the test, as people gathered around cheer for them. First, Mbappe hit the machine hard with his left hand and scored 647.

Following him, it was the Brazilian icon’s turn, who was in a mood to go all cowboy style. Neymar wore a cowboy hat and a black jacket and scored an impressive 798 on the punching machine.

Mike Tyson Finally Clarifies ‘I Broke My Back’ Statement After 18 Years Since $103,000,000 Fight!

Former heavyweight champions Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis squared off in the boxing ring in the 2002 classic fight, generating around $103 million. Although Lewis won the fight, Tyson stole the show with his post-fight comments. After his loss instead of reflecting on the performance, the New Yorker boxer spoke about how he fought the whole fight with a broken back. Despite not providing any context about his performance in the fight, Tyson’s interview gained a lot of attention. However, 18 years after the fight, Mike Tyson finally gave an explanation for his comments about his injured back during that interview.

‘Iron’ Mike ended his career with an impressive record of 50 wins and six losses and the fight against ‘The Lion’ would be the fourth loss of Tyson’s remarkable career.

By then, the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ had lost his immortal aura and thus his comments about ‘broken back’ were polarizing. Whilst some fans sympathized with the boxer, others felt as if he was providing an excuse.

Mike Tyson opens up about his broken back comment

18 years after the fight, Tyson sat down for an interview with Compubox TV. During the interview, Tyson opened up about his loss against Lennox Lewis and his infamous post-fight statement. ‘Iron’ Mike said:

“Well listen right, I have a bad back and since all of the work that I’ve put over the years, the spine in my back just starts shifting. I have to get the operation but the doctor said, ‘Hey eventually you’re gonna have to start bending over’. And so I was trying to explain my situation. I just wasn’t eloquent enough to explain it in the way I wanted it to be explained.“

Tyson claimed that he really had an issue with his back. The ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ mentioned how he was not eloquent enough to explain it in the spur of the moment. However, he was eloquent enough to give birth to one of the most significant lines in boxing history.

    Tyson’s ‘Alexander’ speech

Before his fight against Lewis, Tyson was supremely confident and despite breaking his back, Tyson wasn’t speaking about it. He was claiming that heading up to the battle, he was the better fighter.

Tyson said, “Lennox Lewis, I’m coming for you … I’m the most brutal and vicious and ruthless champion there has ever been. Lennox is a conqueror? No. I am Alexander. He’s no Alexander. I’m the best ever … My style is impetuous, my defense is impregnable and I’m just ferocious. I want your heart. I want to eat his children.“

Lewis termed these comments as ‘crazy’ and stated that he was coming for Tyson and not the other way around. Despite winning the pre-fight conference and trash-talking, Tyson lost the fight.

  • Francis Ngannou’s workout video with Mike Tyson will have Tyson Fury fans secretly shaking in fear

Francis Ngannou’s workout video with Mike Tyson will have Tyson Fury fans secretly shaking in fear

Francis Ngannou is a big underdog against Tyson Fury, but a new video with Mike Tyson is adding to his clout as a boxer.

The Tyson vs. Francis Ngannou boxing match will take place on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The match is expected to pit the former UFC heavyweight champion and MMA freedom fighter Ngannou against the boxing heavyweight champion Fury in a crossover competition that has captured the attention of the entire sports world.

Fury has been busy firing verbal shots at and defending verbal shots from fellow boxing contenders. Ngannou let loose with a provocative five-word warning to Fury that has fans of both sports talking.

Now it appears as if Francis Ngannou’s training circuit with former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has been leaked.

Tyson appears in the video below with his trademark black eye tattoo, telling Francis Ngannou to relax while putting things in perspective. He appears to show the Cameroonian-French heavyweight how to throw his trademark body shots, a new weapon that the former UFC champ could threaten his famous opponent with in the ring.

Francis Ngannou has his work cut out for him against the legendary British heavyweight. Fury has become one of the most iconic boxers of his generation. His power, technique, precision and skill belie his physical appearance, as he is one of the pound-for-pound quickest and most technical boxers of his generation, capable of outboxing and knocking out opponents both bigger and smaller than him in the ring.

Fury’s career record currently stands at 33-0-1 over the course of his career, with 24 knockout victories to his name. If Ngannou is to make the match a competitive one, he is going to have to rely on his impressive power and overall fight IQ.

Francis Ngannou has a record of 17-3 in the Octagon and has beaten impressive fighters including Stipe Miocic, Cain Velasquez and Derrick ‘The Black Beast’ Lewis, among others during his UFC career.

Mike Tyson reacts to joining Francis Ngannou’s coaching team for Tyson Fury fight

Ahead of his boxing match with Tyson Fury, Francis Ngannou has made a major addition to his coaching team in the form of Mike Tyson.

Mike Tyson will play a key role in the upcoming Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou crossover boxing match.

Fury will be boxing the former UFC heavyweight champion and current PFL star in a 10-round fight taking place Oct. 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

t’s going to be a massive payday for Ngannou, despite many observers believing he has virtually zero chance against the WBC heavyweight champion.

While the odds won’t be in his favor, Ngannou is doing all he can do to ensure he gets the victory in his professional boxing debut.

That includes getting former heavyweight champion Tyson as his main trainer for the contest.

“It is no secret I back Ngannou 100 percent in this face-off of champions,” Tyson said in a statement (via Yahoo Finance). “He has one hard punch, and when it lands, it’s game over. I am looking forward to working with Ngannou and supporting his transition from the octagon to the boxing ring.

“He isn’t a combat novice; he is a world champion. He knows how to compete when the bell rings, but the key will be combining his energy and combat skills into his punches and using his agility to move swiftly around the ring then delivering the knock-out blow. We’re here to win.”

It will definitely be interesting to see how Fury reacts to this development as well as Tyson’s comments. After all, he was named after the Baddest Man on the Planet with the American also being his boxing idol.

Ngannou, however, is naturally pleased to add Tyson’s wealth of knowledge and expertise to his training camp and believes it’s one of the best decisions he could have made ahead of the Fury fight.

“Bringing Mike Tyson into my training camp is one of the best decisions I can make to prepare for Tyson Fury in the ring at this year’s Riyadh Season,” Ngannou said. “Mike Tyson is an idol of mine in the sport. His experience and boxing IQ will be important to honing my technique under his guidance to win this super-fight.

“I’ve been wanting this fight for years and now that it’s here, I’m focused on fighting the greatest fight of my career and shocking the world on the most epic stage for the fans in RiyadhOctober 28th, the world will know who’s the ‘Baddest Man on The Planet.’”

Muay Thai fighter suffers HORRIFIC injury as his nose is spread across his face by uppercut… leaving fans in shock and ‘wishing they hadn’t seen’ the blow

A Muay Thai fighter suffered a gruesome nose injury in a fight at the weekend.

Shayan Heydari was lining up in a bout against Por Tor Thor Petchrungruang but disaster stuck midway through the second round.

As Heydari looked to defend himself, Petchrungruang caught him with a huge uppercut which completely displaced Heydari’s nose from its usual position.

However, the horrific injury somehow didn’t knock the Iranian out as he shielded a continued onslaught of punches from his opponent before sinking to his knees.

Heydari then received urgent medical treatment before Petchrungruang was declared the winner of the bout by virtue of a technical knockout.

It is known as a hugely brutal sport and Heydari’s gruesome injury is the latest example of that.

Tyson Fury shares a glimpse of his unappetising chicken, rice and salad lunch, as his nutritionist reveals details of the diet which has helped him to his remarkable body transformation

Tyson Fury has offered fans an insight into his nutrition as the heavyweight boxer continues his preparations for his undisputed fight with Oleksandr Usyk.

The Gypsy King has earned praise from his supporters in recent weeks for his physical conditioning ahead of his bout with the Ukrainian on May 18.

Fury shared a photo of his lunch on social media, revealing a basic meal of chicken, rice and salad.

While the meal might look unappetising to fans, it has formed part of a daily diet plan overseen by his nutritionist Greg Marriott.

Marriott told Men’s Health earlier this month that Fury is consuming 3,000 calories on rest days, as well as between 4,500 to 6,000 on training days.

Marriott revealed that Fury is eating up to six meals a day under his diet plan, whereas he had previously had one or two meals a day.

Meals reportedly include Fury having two slices of sourdough toast, avocado butter spread with fresh garlic tabasco and black pepper for breakfast, as well as fresh plum tomatoes and lean beef mince sausages.

Oatmeal and protein with fresh nuts and chia seeds, and omelettes have also been included as breakfasts.

A dinner under the diet plan included a 400 gram filet steak with Dijon mustard, as well as roasted vegetables including broccoli, asparagus and beetroot.

Marriott has shared several meals eaten by Fury on social media, with fans having also praised the look of the food produced by the nutritionist.

He claimed that while Fury is in ‘amazing’ shape now, the unbeaten heavyweight will shed further weight ahead of his fight with Usyk.

‘I can promise you, you’re gonna see a different Tyson Fury,’ Marriott told Men’s Health.

‘Whatever I tell Tyson to do, he just adheres to it. He puts 100 per cent trust in me.

‘So for Tyson really, there is no challenges because he knows he’ll be in peak condition. He’s been there, done it and got the t-shirts.

‘I think for this fight, he just thought “I just want to get back to looking great”, and with that comes feeling great too, and being able to do the rounds.

‘He’s happier knowing that he’s already in amazing shape now. He doesn’t have to think about getting weight off anymore. We’ve already done that. I’ve already got him the weight off.

‘You’re gonna see another 50% on top of where he is now.’

Fury had received criticism for his conditioning after he scraped through his fight with Francis Ngannou last year, winning via split decision after being knocked down.

In an exclusive chat with Mail Sport last year, Fury said: ‘I would love to have a good body. But, I don’t have any hope of having a good body.

‘I am fat now, I was fat as a baby and I will be fat on my death bed. We’re all fat. Hughie is fat, Shane’s fat, my dad’s fat and even my mum’s fat. I hope she’s not watching this. But we’re a fat family.’

The heavyweight world will seek to elect a unified champion for the first time in 24 years on May 18, with a reported £100million purse up for grabs.

Usyk will bring the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO titles while Fury holds the WBC heavyweight crown – and there will be a new ‘undisupted’ belt up for grabs.

They will meet in the ring as part of Riyadh Season in Saudi Arabia to crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era.

Fury has been chomping at the bit since the fight was postponed from its original date of February 17 after he suffered a nasty cut above his eye in training.

He has 34 wins – 24 via knockouts – and one draw on his ledger.

Meanwhile, Usyk has a perfect record of 21 wins and no defeats with 14 knockouts.
