The four Beckham kids have obviously inherited their mom Victoria‘s sense of fashion, as made evident on the cover of British Vogue‘s October issue, which promises a dialogue about “family, fame & fashion” from the former Spice Girl and husband David Beckham.

While the children (Harper Seven, 7, Cruz David, 13, Romeo James, 16, and Brooklyn Joseph, 19) posed poshly for the magazine’s cover with their mom and dog Olive, the outdoor shoot also included a little summer-activity fun.

In their accompanying interview, Victoria tells Vogue that Harper has “been able to run in Alaïa platforms since she was 3,” but doesn’t wear heels or makeup outside of the house.

“On one hand, she’s quite girly, but on the other hand she has three big brothers and likes to run around and play football. She’s not scared of being pushed over,” her mom explains, revealing that her youngest child “wants to be an inventor.”

In a second photo from the spread, shot by Mikael Jansson, the kids all point water guns at each other while their parents lounge on the grass. Victoria, 44, is the only family member looking at the camera — impressive, since Olive is jumping over her lap at that very moment!

“People have been making things up about our relationship for 20 years,” Victoria says, adding that she and David, 43, have learned along the way to “[ignore] the nonsense” rumors surrounding their relationship since they wed almost two decades ago. “But these things have a wider effect on the people around us, and that’s unfair,” she admits.

“We both realize that we are stronger together than we are as individuals,” she explains. “Would either of us be in the position that we are in now had we not met and been together all those years ago?”

Adds the fashion designer and singer, “It’s all about the family unit. We are much stronger, the six of us, than we would be if we were individuals. We respect that family bond and that is key.”

The Beckham brood recently celebrated a big benchmark for one of their members: Romeo, who turned sweet 16 on Saturday.

“Happy Birthday Romeo! Can’t believe our baby is 16 today!” the fashion designer wrote alongside a snapshot of the mother-son pair posing together in front of a sunset.

In a second festive image, Romeo sat in front of a bunch of silver and white balloons (as well as a table piled high with presents!), while in another, she showed off the birthday boy’s tennis-themed cake.

Another milestone among the family was Harper’s new haircut — which David, 43, performed himself! The former soccer star was doing his best to keep his emotions in check in a black-and-white photo he posted to Instagram in late July, showing him taking a pair of styling shears to his youngest child’s long locks.

While Harper was all smiles in anticipation of her new ‘do, David couldn’t help sporting a pouting expression as he looks down at his daughter’s soon-to-be-snipped hair.

He wrote, “Someone’s happy 😃 & someone’s not so happy ✂️ but I didn’t think it was possible for this little one to look anymore beautiful but ♥️”

The Australian GP was Mercedes’ lowest point of the 2024 season. Not only did they end the race with 0 points, neither Lewis Hamilton nor George Russell finished the Grand Prix. Questions continue to flood Mercedes about their performance and what they can do to improve, and addressing the same, James Allison pointed out his team’s top priority to churn out better performances on race weekends.

On Mercedes’ official YouTube channel, the team posted a video where Allison spoke about what went wrong, and what they are doing to make things better. The answer to what they have to do in the latter front is simple on paper.

“The thing we’re more focused on is the pace. Because if you get the pace sorted out, the season will be okay.”

Allison claimed that the baseline reliability of the car, the skills of their drivers, and other foundational things don’t as much attention as pace. Hence, should the team work out a way to improve the W-15’s pace, the rest of the season should pan out much better.

However, after the race in Melbourne, the reliability of the car might need more attention from the Mercedes engineers. Lewis Hamilton became an unfortunate victim of a rare DNF by the Silver Arrows, ending a rather miserable weekend for the Briton. Having failed to make it past Q2 a day before, an engine failure meant Hamilton became the first Mercedes driver to DNF in 2024.

Hamilton remains unhappy with Mercedes’ mechanical package, despite complaining about the same for over two years now. The W-15 showed early promise (especially in pre-season), but with time, it was evident that they aren’t progressing. While George Russell has fared slightly better, Hamilton is yet to feel comfortable with the car. Hence, Mercedes need to bring vital upgrade packages to their car if they are looking to bid Hamilton farewell, on a good note.

Mercedes’ downfall began in 2022 when the ground effect regulations kicked in. While many teams were able to cope with the change well, the Silver Arrows faced immense porpoising issues. To level this out, Hamilton revealed his team had to take around 90 points of downforce out of their car. He claimed that Mercedes had the downforce they wanted but could not utilize it, which is why they ended up losing a huge amount of performance in their car.

Unsurprisingly, downforce stands as a crucial element of winning races in F1. The more planted a car is on the track, the more confident a driver feels at high speed corners and braking points. Furthermore, pushing the car to the limit on straights also becomes easier for them. Hence, the overall lap time increases or reduces drastically, depending upon the downforce of the car.

As for Mercedes, a lack of ideal downforce has left them behind their rivals at the moment. While the Silver Arrows were once top contenders to become world champions, they currently stand as mid-table prospects. Red Bull, Ferrari, and McLaren have all improved on their car from 2023.

Meanwhile, Mercedes are still stuck figuring out the issues with their car. Hence, the popular belief is that their struggles will continue even in 2025, with 2026 being the first ray of hope for chances of improving for the Brackley-based team.

Last month, YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul announced that he was set to take on former unified heavyweight champion Tyson in a boxing match at the AT&T Arena in Texas on July 20.

The fight has been the cause of much controversy with Paul, 27, 30 years younger than his counterpart and Tyson having not competed in a professional fight since 2005.

On Saturday reports emerged suggesting that the showdown between the pair would be an exhibition rather than a professional fight, with a list of rules in place.

However, Paul’s manager has since shut down those reports, while Tyson’s former opponent, Jones Jr, has claimed the fight has been “upgraded” to professional status.

“The Jake Paul Mike Tyson fight is not an exhibition, I’ve heard it’s been upgraded to a fight,” Jones Jr, who fought Tyson in an exhibition fight in 2020, said on the Lunch Club.

“If it’s a fight, it’s very intriguing how it may turn out because Jake Paul has gotten a lot better as a boxer over the days but Mike Tyson even at 58 or however old he is, is still Mike Tyson.

“When I boxed him, he still punched like Mike Tyson.

“If he hits anybody square on the chin it’s going to be problematic, I don’t care who it is.

“I like Jake Paul, he’s a good guy and he’s doing good with his boxing stuff.

“I think it’s a good promotional situation for him and Mike, they should go really good numbers, especially having upgraded to a real fight.

“If Mike comes out and does what Mike normally does, then it’s going to be a tough situation for Jake.

“If Jake can stay away from him for four or five rounds, then Jake has a chance but he’s going to have to do a lot of manoeuvring to stay away from him.”

Mike Tyson to fight Roy Jones Jr. in exhibition match

 

It appears as though former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson wasn’t kidding about making a comeback.

According to a report from Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports, Tyson will fight fellow legend Roy Jones Jr. in an eight-round exhibition match. The proposed bout is expected to take place Sept. 12 in Carson, Calif., at Dignity Health Sports Park.

Tyson, 54, has been frequently posting videos on his social media accounts of him training in recent months and he had expressed wanting to participate in some exhibition matches to raise money for charity.

Former champions Evander Holyfield, Riddick Bowe, Shannon Briggs and James Toney were among those who offered to fight Tyson.

 

 

“It would be crazy to receive an offer to enter the ring with him and refuse,” Jones told sports.ru earlier this week when asked about a possible matchup with Tyson. “I had no intention of going back and fighting again but, for the sake of Mike Tyson, I agree to make an exception. For me, this is an opportunity that I cannot refuse. Of all those who wanted to go into the ring with him, he chose me. And since he did that, how can I say no?”

Jones, 51, is widely considered a pound-for-pound great. He last fought in February of 2018 before retiring with a professional boxing record of 66-9 with notable wins over Bernard Hopkins, James Toney, Antonio Tarver, Virgil Hill, John Ruiz and Felix Trinidad among others.

Executive director of the California State Athletic Commission, Andy Foster, told Iole that Tyson and Jones won’t be wearing headgear but they will wear bigger gloves, possibly 12-ounce mitts.

Tyson hasn’t fought since 2005 after his infamous loss to journeyman Kevin McBride. Tyson retired with a 50-6 record with two no-contests and championship wins over Larry Holmes and Michael Spinks.

The undercard is expected to be filled with some notable athletes and celebrities.

Victoria Beckham isn’t letting a broken bone get in the way of her wardrobe styling.

On Wednesday, the 49-year-old designer shared an Instagram Story, striking a pose in front of a mirror while modeling a sheer gown over a white underwear and bra set. In the photo, she effortlessly leans against her crutches, now a fixture in her closet due to her recent foot injury.

Back in February, Victoria’s husband, David Beckham, 48, first revealed in an Instagram Story that his wife had broken her foot.

“Apparently my wife’s little accident in the gym was a clean break,” the former professional soccer player wrote on a picture of Victoria’s foot in a boot. He added heart and sad emojis, as well as a “Feel Better” Snoopy GIF.

However, since injuring herself, Victoria has carried on as normal. At the end of last month, she was spotted leaving a restaurant in Notting Hill donning an all-black ensemble, a pair of black leggings, a sporty black sweatshirt, and oversized sunglasses. She paired her medical boot with one black Alaïa Plexi Heart-Toe slingback pump featuring a kitten heel.

Despite her broken foot, the designer didn’t miss a beat while unveiling her fall/winter 2024 collection during Paris Fashion Week this month.

At the culmination of the show, she made her way out on her crutches for the final bow. With determination, she hobbled down the runway, eventually reaching David, who occupied the front row alongside Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Seated beside David were Cruz Beckham, followed by Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, then Harper Beckham, with Nicola Peltz Beckham next to her. (Romeo Beckham was notably absent.)

Upon reaching David, the couple exchanged a kiss, a moment Vogue captured and shared on their Instagram.

“As always, @VictoriaBeckham’s family was out in full force to support her tonight at her fall 2024 show during #ParisFashionWeek. Becks even sealed it with a kiss,” the outlet captioned the video.

It’s a very Beckham Christmas!

Over the holiday weekend, Nicola Peltz Beckham and Victoria Beckham gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at what exactly makes up a Beckham family gathering — collaborative cooking, photobombing, Santa hats and plenty of jokes!

After Victoria first shared a heartwarming festive family pic on Saturday, Nicola went on to provide her social media followers with some more scenes of the get-together.

In a new TikTok video, soundtracked by Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You,” most of the family is accounted for: David, 48, Victoria, 49, and their children Cruz, 18, Brooklyn, 24, and Harper, 12. Only soccer player Romeo, 21, was missing from the fun pre-Christmas festive gathering.

Nicola, 28, began her clip with a cute scene that showed her husband Brooklyn and his dad David seemingly placing a dish in the oven as David yelled out “Merry Christmas!”

The camera then panned to Victoria showing off her Santa hat, David cooking with eggs and Peltz and Brooklyn posing for a seasonal selfie (which Victoria made sure to photobomb).

Cruz also gave his brother some help in the kitchen, before their younger sister Harper joined them at the table for a family chat.

After more scenes of yummy lobster, gravy-pouring, family selfies and David and his sons working the vacuum, the clip ended with a funny message from the former Spice Girl.

Nicola closed off her TikTok with a shot of her mother-in-law taking out the trash during the Christmas festivities, as Victoria jokingly said, “I bet Jennifer Lopez doesn’t do bins.”

“No, and you’re not Jennifer Lopez,” David added, before his wife replied, “Well I bet she doesn’t do bins, does she? I’m sure she doesn’t do bins.”

Victoria also shared the hilarious clip on her own Instagram Story Saturday, tagging Lopez as her husband whipped up some cranberry sauce. “Do you have to do the bins,” she wrote to the movie star.

Elsewhere on her Instagram Story, Victoria shared a few images of her family rocking their Santa hats, hanging out with Santa himself and enjoying the festivities.

She also uploaded a sweet digital Christmas card of all four of her kids, alongside the message “Happy Christmas, love and kisses,” before she signed off from all five Beckham family members.

Meanwhile, Romeo did make an appearance in a later Story posted by Victoria. After sharing several videos of a Santa Claus decked out in shoes featuring bells, the fashion designer posted a snap of Father Christmas with three of her children.

Although it wasn’t clear exactly when and where the fun festive experience had taken place, a smiling Romeo posed for a photo with Santa alongside his siblings, Harper and Cruz.

“Santa came to visit!!” Victoria wrote over the fun snap.

Victoria Beckham’s design work with Reebok is off to a running start

Victoria Beckham just announced on Wednesday that she’s expanding her fashion empire with a new collaboration with Reebok. Right now we know very little about what it entails (she just started her first day of the design process yesterday), but we do know she’s already putting items through a rigorous performance test.

Beckham shared an Instagram photo Thursday morning running on a Reebok treadmill wearing a chic graphic-print long-sleeve shirt and pants, with dark shades and a pair of towering heels. Sure, she may be poking fun at her serious-faced, always-in-heels reputation (her brief foray into a sneakers-friendly lifestyle ended after a few months), but we wouldn’t put it past her to come up with a line of high-heeled workout shoes to be worn exclusively by her and Mariah Carey. (Because let’s face it, if anyone could take on the task, it would be the person to wear the most intense heels unimaginable with ease.)

This athletic line marks a third major collaboration with a retailer, after her blockbuster Target line and Estée Lauder on a successful makeup collection, which is currently back for its second run.

In a new interview video with British Vogue,Beckham credits her success to the way her parents encouraged her growing up.

She explained that as a child, she lived in a leotard but was never the best dancer. “But my Mum and Dad used to really give me a lot of confidence, I believed that I could achieve anything,” she said in a Back to My Roots video. “And the support of my family has always been incredible. Whenever I said that I can’t do it my Dad just wouldn’t hear it.”

She recalled that he used to say, “What do you mean you can’t do it, why can’t you do it?” And Beckham says the same thing to her own children today.

“I’ve never been the sort of person to give up,” she said.

With an attitude like that, this new collaboration is just the start of something great.

Victoria Beckham is being showered with love on Mother’s Day!

In addition to Mother’s Day in the U.K. on March 14, the fashion designer, 47, celebrated the holiday in the U.S. on Sunday. “Mums are so special we get celebrated twice!” Beckham wrote on her Instagram Story. “Happy Mother’s Day to all of you celebrating today.”

Along with the caption, the mother of four posted a family photo of herself with daughter Harper, 9, and sons Cruz, 16, Romeo, 18, and Brooklyn 22, all of whom she shares with husband David Beckham.

The former Spice Girls member and her family recently spent some quality time together over Easter. Beckham and her athlete husband reunited with all four of their children, as well as Brooklyn’s fianceé Nicola Peltz, for an afternoon outing.

“Our family together is the most precious gift this Easter,” Victoria wrote on social media alongside an image that showed Brooklyn and Peltz, 26, cuddling up together while wearing matching bunny ears.

“We have missed you and love you both so much @brooklynbeckham @nicolaannepeltz,” she added.

The entire family also commemorated the happy gathering by taking a group photo. In the image, Beckham embraces her son Romeo while the couple’s youngest child, daughter Harper cuddles up to dad David, 46.

For her own family post, she made sure to give a special shout out to Peltz for capturing the sweet moment. “We love you so much @nicolaannepeltz nice picture,” Beckham wrote.

As for welcoming Peltz into the family, the star has only expressed excitement for the new addition. “We couldn’t have asked for Brooklyn to meet a more adorable, lovely lady,” Victoria said last year on an episode of British talk show Lorraine.

“She’s sweet, she’s kind, she’s such a lovely, warm, wonderful, wonderful woman,” the Beckham matriarch added. “It’s nice with everything that has gone on this year that Brooklyn has found his soulmate and the lady he wants to spend the rest of his life with, during this time there’s been so much uncertainty and that everything felt a little bit sad. So we are very happy and very excited.”

Victoria Beckham is ditching her signature heels — and we don’t blame her.

The fashion designer and former Spice Girls singer, 49, who broke her foot back in February after an accident in the gym, was pictured wearing Nike sneakers in Paris on Wednesday.

Going against her usual high heels look, the fashionista held onto her black crutches as she sported a matching sweatshirt, leggings and a large pair of sunglasses.

She also let her hair flow down as she sported a black purse that was strapped around her body, as well as a white sock.

Her sneaker made sense, though, considering she’s still recovering from her broken foot and she’s clearly out in athleisure. Who wants to run errands in heels?

The America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League judge revealed in October 2022 that she was engaged to McPhee after three years of dating. McPhee, a hair stylist, popped the question during a cozy getaway in Berkshire, England.

“There were rose petals everywhere, a log fire, a hotel — which was Cliveden. It was very romantic. I love flowers,” she recalled of her husband-to-be’s proposal, while appearing on the U.K. program Celebrity Gogglebox.
