Melanie “Mel B” Brown didn’t have to search far and wide for her dream wedding dress.

Instead, the 48-year-old singer turned to her close friend Victoria Beckham. Brown revealed that her former Spice Girls bandmate, 49, designed one of her bridal gowns for her upcoming wedding to fiancé Rory McPhee.

“Victoria actually designed my dress and my mom’s dress. It’s such a beautiful honor to get,” she said during an appearance on Monday’s episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna.

Brown noted that she also plans to wear two other dresses on her wedding day to really make the most of the fashion moment — although, she’s still working out the fine details.

“I don’t think it would be fair to just have one. Just have as many as you want — at least three, right?” she told hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager.

“I’m going to really go for it,” she continued. “One to actually get married in, which is the proper ceremony — very proper at this church, St. Paul’s [Cathedral]. And then maybe I want to change out of that and be a bit more less… You know, I actually don’t know!”

When Brown spoke about her wedding back in September during an appearance on Australian radio station 2DayFM, she said Beckham was keen to put her design talents to work for her longtime friend.

“I already know that Victoria wants to make me a dress,” Brown shared at the time.

She jokingly added, “I’m probably going to have many different wedding dresses, so it’s probably going to be a two-week wedding.”

During her Today with Hoda & Jenna chat, Brown also confirmed that she will hold her wedding at St. Paul’s Cathedral, the same London church where Princess Diana and then-Prince Charles said “I do” in 1981. And it’s all thanks to a special honor she received from the royal family in 2022.

“Yeah, cause I have an MBE [Member of the Order of the British Empire],” she explained. “So I got an MBE for all my charity work that I’ve been doing and creating awareness for all that kind of stuff.”

Brown had previously said on 2DayFM that she was “still waiting to hear back from St. Paul’s” about her request to have her wedding at the famed cathedral.

“Because I’ve got an MBE, I can get married at the same place as Princess Diana got married, so we’ve put all our forms in and we’re waiting on them to give us a date,” she explained.

She added of her wedding, “I’m going to do it properly, by the book, in church.”

The America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League judge revealed in October 2022 that she was engaged to McPhee after three years of dating. McPhee, a hair stylist, popped the question during a cozy getaway in Berkshire, England.

“There were rose petals everywhere, a log fire, a hotel — which was Cliveden. It was very romantic. I love flowers,” she recalled of her husband-to-be’s proposal, while appearing on the U.K. program Celebrity Gogglebox.

“He said, ‘I love you, you’re my best friend and I want to spend the rest of my life with you,’ ” she continued.

In August 2023, Brown shared a rare photo of the couple on Instagram, capturing them dancing together outside under some twinkly lights.

“He makes me shine bright like a diamond!!!” she wrote of her fiancé.

Explained: How much Tommy Fury and KSI will earn each from upcoming bout

After months of speculation, KSI and Tommy Fury are set to go toe-to-toe in what promises to be one of the most high-profile boxing matches of the year.

Fury, 24, called out the YouTube star after his most recent bout against Joe Fournier, with the pair now set to face off at the AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday.

Having been in tense negotiations, the deal was announced to have been made in July, but there has since been no conversations regarding a split on the purse.

Logan Paul, Salt Papi, King Kenny and Astrid Wett all feature on the under card, with the north-west set to home some of the internet’s biggest stars this weekend.

How much will KSI and Tommy earn?

JJ was rather outspoken regarding the purse when posed the question by Ariel Helwani on his MMA Hour podcast, but insisted money isn’t the motivator for getting into the ring this time.

“I don’t look at how much I get paid,” he began. “I couldn’t care less. It’s not about the money man, it’s about the legacy bro. It’s about trying to be the best.

“I want to prove to the world that Tommy Fury, a boxer who’s boxed all his life, is gonna be facing me, KSI, who was a YouTube gamer and is also in the Sidemen, does all these random things and does boxing here and there. I’ve done boxing for way less years but I have the tenacity, the self-belief, the hard work, and I’m gonna go in there against the odds and beat Tommy Fury.”

What have the pair earned before?

Fury was believed to have earned close to £2-3 million for his last bout with Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia, and walked away with the win after an eighth-round split-decision victory.

KSI, whose last bout with Fournier was deemed a ‘non-contest’ after a successful appeal, is estimated to have earned roughly around the same figure against the previously undefeated fighter.

  • Mike Tyson’s Uncertainty: Could He Have Overcome Anthony Joshua’s Might?

Mike Tyson’s Uncertainty: Could He Have Overcome Anthony Joshua’s Might?

As the fractured heavyweight division still tries to find one true champion, Tyson, once dubbed “the baddest man on the planet”, has pushed the claims of Joshua, dishing out some serious “man love”.

Tyson likes the look and demeanour of Joshua and also the skills of the WBO, WBA and IBF champion who is preparing to face Andy Ruiz Jnr in New York on June 1.

“Hey, I really like him,” Tyson said on his Hotboxin’ podcast.

“He’s really clean, he really looks clean, he’s a clean guy, he’s a clean fighter, he’s a good puncher.

“You just wish the best for him.”

Tyson, the youngest heavyweight champion at 20 w hen he won the WBC belt in 1986, was a ruthless fighter with fearsome power and aggression. But he was cautious when asked if, at his prime, he might have been able to beat Joshua.

“I don’t know. My ego says, ‘nobody would beat you’,” Tyson said.

“But you look at him and … he just looks beautiful!

“He just looks like a fighter, you know? He looks like he was born to do what he has to do.

“He needs more experience of course, but that will come in life.”

Could Mike Tyson defeat Anthony Joshua if they both had their primes in the same era and fought each other at least twice (once as an amateur and once as a professional)? -

Joshua rarely lowers himself to trash talk and backs up any claims with performance – he is unbeaten over 22 fights with 21 knockouts, his only points decision coming against New Zealander Joseph Parker last year.

Joshua contrasts with WBC champion Deontay Wilder, the outspoken American who fights Dominic Breazeale in New York on Sunday.

A unifying fight between Joshua and Wilder remains the division’s elusive goal.

Roy Jones Jr Appears To Have Come To The Realisation He’S “Made A Mistake” Taking On Mike Tyson

Jones, who won world titles across four weight divisions, including heavyweight, will give away size to Tyson, the man who terrorised the division in his heyday.

Jones, 51, still sees multiple dangers in the 54-year-old Tyson who has got himself into terrific shape for this fight.

“He’s still Mike Tyson, he’s still one of the strongest, most explosive people who ever touched a boxing ring. If anything, I made a mistake going in with him. He’s the bigger guy, he’s the explosive guy,” Jones told Sky Sports, adding that he believed this would be a real fight.

“When it comes time to fight, we’re going to fight. If it comes down to bite, we’re going to bite. Whatever has to happen, is going to happen, that’s just what it is.”

Jones expects he will have to weather an early storm from Tyson who was renowned for his quick knockouts when he was at the height of his powers.

“He’s going to have all the first-round fireworks, not me. I do have first-round fireworks, but he’s known for more first-round fireworks than anybody to ever touch boxing, other than maybe George Foreman,” Jones said.

“With him having the first-round fireworks, he’ll be against a guy smaller than him, maybe 40-to-50 pounds (18-22kg) smaller than him.”

Jones, known for his fitness and speed, also appears to be in good shape as he continues his training camp in Florida.

He has enlisted the help of young stars like Chris Eubank Jr, who he trains, to help with his preparations.

“They inspire me to get my mind going,” Jones told Sky Sports.

“They’re so good already, but you’ve got to take their mind to another level. You’ve got to take them somewhere they haven’t been yet, or you can’t really train them … when they do it, they also awaken me.

“Things that I forgot, that I don’t do any more. It turns me back into a better fighter, because it made me remember things that I did once upon a time.”

18 Years Later, Mike Tyson’s Battle with ‘Iron’ Mike Persona and $300 Million Loss Ignites Debates

Mike Tyson, the paragon of boxing, has made a startling revelation. In a recently resurfaced post, ‘Iron Mike’ has revealed his unfiltered feelings about his retirement. Furthermore, the revelation makes fans ponder about the gravity of the reasons for his quitting. Mike Tyson stands as the greatest Heavyweight boxer in history. He first retired in 2005, with his final adversary being Kevin McBride.

Moreover, ‘Kid Dynamite’s retirement didn’t happen conventionally, as he quit halfway through that fight. But apart from boxing, Mike’s financial losses 18 years ago put fans on a pedestal about his retirement reasons. Mike Tyson filed for bankruptcy in 2003 post earning around $430 million throughout his boxing career. His lavish lifestyle included spending on mansions, cars, and even Bengal tigers. Then, legal troubles and imprisonment added to his financial woes, further depleting his fortune. However, in the post, Tyson remains brutally honest about his reasons.

What does Mike Tyson reveal about his retirement?

After his retirement, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ returned to the ring 15 years later. This was for a one-time exhibition match with Roy Jones Jr. The bout took place in November 2020 and ended in a draw. However, Mike expressed his reasons for retiring uncompromisingly in the resurfaced post.

Tyson said, ‘The best decision I ever made was to retire from boxing. I hate the smell of a gym. I hate the boxing game. The guy I used to be, I don’t know that guy anymore. I don’t have a connection with him anymore. I’m just not that person anymore. I like the person I am now more than I did. I don’t like Iron Mike.’ This elucidates how badly Mike wanted to retire. Furthermore, it reflects his detachment from the ‘Iron Mike’ that boxing made him. Moreover, since the post is making circles on the internet, fans are trying to comprehend it.

Fans make sense of Tyson’s quitting boxing

Embarking the conversation, a user commented “Still a real champion, saying what you feel and doing what you say; it’s just the imitation world of wannabes that couldn’t hold a candle to the reality of who you are—REAL!”

Next, another fan focused on the natural process of aging and wisdom endowment.  The fan said, “In your life, you grow to different degrees in each decade. So, it’s fine to be different; you’re getting older now, and it’s just another part of your life you’re growing into. It’s called wisdom and wiser. Enjoy your life with peace and joy.”

Additionally, some fans acknowledged Tyson’s transition from his past career to his new endeavors. One such comment read, “Well, Champ, you were in the Hurt business, and you’re not anymore, but you were great at it. Now, you’re the same man in your new business, and you’re still great.”  Further, others took a straightforward way by acknowledging that age and a long career can take a toll on one’s mental health. As one user puts it, “Age does that to you, and you’ve definitely earned your rest. Enjoy the rest of your life.”

Then, there were also waves of curiosity as fans wondered the timing of this comment, “Did he say this before or after that weird fight with Roy Jones Junior?”

Why Does Joe Rogan Disagree with Labeling Mike Tyson as the ‘Best Ever’ Over Floyd Mayweather, Despite Admitting Fear of Tyson’s Power?

Popular UFC commentator and MMA analyst Joe Rogan is known for covering a wide variety of topics on his ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast. He engages in conversation with personalities from every walk of life, often showcasing his takes on them. In a viral clip from an episode with ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson, we see Joe Rogan do a double-take as Tyson gets serious. In the clip, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ told Rogan that he needs “the right person” to break undesirable news to him. Rogan responded with, “Who the f*ck is gonna say that dude?”. While Rogan hinted at Tyson’s fierce image, ‘Iron’ Mike did not take it lightly.

In a much later episode with comedian Mark Normand, Rogan reveals another impact the former Heavyweight had on him. He confessed that he started using a bigger desk out of fear of ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson. Rogan explained, “I did an interview with Tyson, and he was so amped up for this Roy Jones fight, that I got nervous being in the room”. Although Rogan has publicly acknowledged Tyson’s power, he still placed Floyd Mayweather as the ‘best ever’ in this new interview.

The new episode featured Terence Crawford in conversation with the commentator. The two were discussing Francis Ngannou’s upcoming bout with Tyson Fury in October. The topic shifted as the duo remembered Conor McGregor’s fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. Known as ‘The Money Fight’, the bout in 2017 racked up one of the highest PPV buy rates in boxing history. It was in light of this discussion that Joe Rogan suggested a name different from Tyson’s as the ‘best ever’.

Rogan said, “That was a fascinating fight. Conor vs. Floyd. Cause Conor’s a talented fighter. But to just jump right in against the best ever. Like that’s just..”. ‘Bud’ jumped right into the conversation and said, “He did what he had to do. He got that bag. That’s all it comes down to. You know. Solidifying yourself and taking care of your family.’ Rogan gave ‘the Notorious’ his flowers and even commended him for taking on ‘the best ever’. Previously, the duo discussed another crossover boxing event- former UFC Champion Francis Ngannou’s fight with Tyson Fury.

Joe Rogan commented on the money that Ngannou will supposedly make from the fight. He said, “I don’t know what he’s getting paid, but it’s going to be more money than what he’s ever made before, right?”.

In agreement, the undisputed Welterweight champion said, “That’s why all those MMA guys coming over to boxing, tryna, you know, they see Conor McGregor they’re like, ‘Oh Made all that money? Let me try’”.

Mike Tyson Remains Adamant on Bursting Biggest Myth in Combat Sports

Muhammad Ali, a legend in his own right, reportedly refrained from sexual encounters in the lead-up to a fight.

The rationale behind this widely held belief is multifaceted, with some attributing it to maintaining physical strength and focus. Despite this, Mike Tyson’s perspective on the matter challenges the traditional narrative.

Mike Tyson challenges the biggest myth in combat sports

In a recent episode of Hotboxin along with former UFC Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, Tyson emerged as a vocal advocate against the notion, boldly proclaiming that fighters could potentially be more successful if they engaged in sexual activity before stepping into the ring. His viewpoint stems from his own experience and the teachings of his trainer, Cus D’Amato.

“ I would think a fighter would be more successful if he had sex before a fight. How does that work? How does that really… It’s like relaxing, like, yeah, you’re cool. Now you can get back up and you can get back your stuff, eat your food, got your energy back. Let’s go get this cat.” he said

Interestingly, the former champion himself was known to practice pre-fight intimacy. According to one of his chauffeurs, ‘Iron Mike’ engaged in sexual activity in the locker room moments before his boxing matches. Moreover, this was done for a reason that could only be true for a man as ferocious as Tyson.

Mike Tyson’s chauffeur reveals shocking pre-fight rituals

In an interview with The Sun back in 2021, Tyson’s chauffer Rudy Gonzalez revealed how the former champion often engaged in intimacy before fights. The reason for this according to him was that Tyson believed that without this release, his unbridled rage might escalate to a dangerous level in the ring, leading to potential harm of his opponents.

“One of the greatest secrets with Mike was that he needed to have s*x in the dressing room before fights. I would have to find a groupie, it did not matter who it was. He’d say: ‘If I do not get laid I will kill this guy right now.” said Gonzalez.

While Tyson’s perspective adds a unique twist to the debate, it’s essential to consider scientific inquiry.

Ferrari’s scintillating form and Carlos Sainz’s victory in Melbourne is still fresh in Red Bull’s mind as they arrived in Japan to take back control of the season. Max Verstappen, who’s looking to carry forward his dominance in Suzuka from last year, topped FP1, with his teammate Sergio Perez following him in P2. Despite this, Helmut Marko is worried about Ferrari’s pace, and especially that of Charles Leclerc‘s.

Charles Leclerc’s run was a bit annoying. Or actually not annoying, but he was really fast,” said Marko as per Racing News 365. “In that regard, we have to see how much fuel he had on board for that run.”

Coming into the Free Practice 1 of the 2024 Japanese GP, Verstappen started with his usual dominance as he clocked 1:30.056 on the timesheet. Compared to him, Perez and Sainz were one-tenth and two-tenths slower, respectively.

Leclerc, interestingly, was five-tenths slower than the Dutchman, but as Marko already pointed out, his onboard fuel could be a reason for the slower speed since Ferrari might have sandbagged the Monegasque. None of the teams went out on track a lot for FP2 due to rain, leaving Marko’s doubt stranded.

Nonetheless, the Prancing Horse showed incredible progress coming into 2024, and the points in the championship do the talking for them. As Leclerc’s team has kept gaining on the defending champions, Verstappen began to worry, to say the least.

Max Verstappen worried about the grid closing up

Max Verstappen enjoyed a thorough dominance in the last two years with Red Bull ripping apart its opposition. However, in 2024, the situation doesn’t look the same, as Verstappen shared his concern despite a good start to the Japanese GP.

“I think in general, already the whole year over one lap it seems like people definitely got closer,” said the three-time world champion as per F1. “Of course, the long-run pace, again I have no clue how that will look, but I don’t expect gaps to be like they were last year here at this track.”

The defending champion’s concerns are true as the qualifying simulation pace of the top five teams binds them within five-tenths. Red Bull leads the pack with Ferrari only one-tenth behind. Then there is McLaren, Mercedes, and Aston Martin, all within four and five-tenths respectively.

Therefore, the upcoming race on Sunday indeed provides a fair chance for all teams if they can extract good positions on Saturday. On top of that, the weather forecast has predicted rain during the race, which makes the situation more interesting and leaves the window wide open for anybody to claim the victory.

Jules Bianchi passed away due to a tragic F1 accident in Japan 10 years ago. The Frenchman played a huge inspiration in the life of Charles Leclerc, who is currently driving for Ferrari. Leclerc is paying a special tribute to the late F1 driver to mark 10 years of his tragic loss with a helmet design dedicated to Bianchi. The Monegasque recently spoke on the bond he shared with his godfather, one which continues through the proximity he shares with his family.

Speaking post-practice sessions (as quoted by Formu1a.uno), Leclerc said, “For me, it was a very important tribute to make here. I had spoken to the family, we are always in contact and talk because basically, we are one family. We have always been very close and they were so happy that I asked to use the helmet. So I’m really happy, Jules is still present in my thoughts and he must be remembered.”

The Ferrari star also highlighted the role Bianchi played in his success. Leclerc credited his presence in F1 to the efforts made by Jules earlier in his career. The former Marussia driver helped his godson sharpen his skills on the track and brought him on Ferrari’s radar.

Bianchi was no less than a guardian angel to Charles Leclerc. Herve, Leclerc’s father, was a former racing driver himself who supported his son’s racing career. However, there came a point where he was no longer capable of keeping his son’s dream afloat. That was when Jules lent a helping hand.

How Jules Bianchi put Charles Leclerc on Ferrari’s radar

Jules Bianchi rose through junior categories to make his F1 breakthrough Marussia F1 team. Sadly, he could not stay there for long and lost his life in the very first year in the pinnacle of motorsport. However, his legacy lives on through the work he had done for Charles Leclerc.

Jules played a crucial role in bringing Leclerc in touch with Nicolas Todt. Nicolas, son of former Ferrari team principal Jean Todt, was impressed with the young Monegasque’s exploits on the track in no time. Not only did Todt decide to represent Leclerc as his manager, but he also landed him a place in the Ferrari Driver Academy.

The coveted academy helped Leclerc hone his skills further until he was ready for his big F1 break. Todt got his young client a Sauber seat in 2018. As the Ferrari Academy talent proved his worth with the Swiss team, the Maranello management offered him a contract. After just one year with Sauber, Leclerc was a Ferrari man, and remains so, fulfilling the legacy of Jules Bianchi.
