Tyson Fury slams Netflix show about his family, brands it "bullsh**t"

Tyson Fury has laid into the Netflix show about his family, branding it “bulls**t”.

The WBC world heavyweight champion and his family were featured in the series, titled “At home with the Furys’, which has proved to be a huge hit on the streaming service, with the first episode said to have racked up 2.6 million viewers in no time.

The documentary is described as “hilarious and heartfelt docusoap” and features a total of eight episodes, providing an insight into Fury’s life away from the ring.

The undefeated boxer is of course the main star but Fury’s wife Paris, dad John, brother Tommy Fury and children are all featured.

Fury had to put up with cameras following him on a regular basis but he labelled the show “bulls**t” – for not giving a look at the “whole reality” of his life.

“Netflix didn’t want to film the whole reality,” he said on an appearance on the Sundae Conversation with Caleb Pressley

“(It’s) proper bulls**t. I said you need to film me taking a s**t, you need to film me having a shower, you need to film me in the bath and they said, ‘Nope, can’t do it’.”

The series picks up with Fury after he announced his retirement from boxing in April 2022 after knocking out Dillian Whyte at Wembley and details his preparations for his most recent tear-up with Derek Chisora.

The 35-year-old signed up for the Netflix programme but tried to get out of it in the early days, consulting lawyers after feeling as though he made a “mistake”.

Speaking on Capital XTRA breakfast, Fury explained: “I wanted out. I was like, couple of weeks in, I said: ‘Is there any way [out]?’

“I’d be on the phone with my lawyers. ‘Is there any way I can get out of this? I don’t know what I’ve signed up for again. I never said I’d do it again. I’ve done it again, I’ve made a mistake’.”

Despite Fury’s comments, Fury is believed to have given the green light to a second series and so will have to get used to the cameras once again.

He returns to the ring against former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou on October 28 in Saudi Arabia, though his belt will not be on the line.

At Home With The Furys is available to watch on Netflix now.

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have 'signed contracts' for undisputed fight in Saudi Arabia

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have ‘signed contracts’ for an undisputed heavyweight showdown in Saudi Arabia, according to stunning reports.

Fury vs Usyk could take place on December 23 or in January, per ESPN’s report.

The self-proclaimed ‘Gypsy King’ meets Francis Ngannou in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on October 28, but appears set to return to the Middle East to face the unified Ukrainian world champion.

Usyk, meanwhile, made the second defence of his WBA (super), IBF, WBO and The Ring Magazine titles against Daniel Dubois last month.

He stopped the Brit in the ninth round to improve his professional record to 21-0, which includes two victories over Anthony Joshua.

The proposed Fury vs Usyk bout had been in the works previously until both parties failed to come to an agreement over terms and conditions, with promoter Frank Warren exposing emails to prove his fighter was not to blame.

Though it seems the blockbuster bout is back on, with Saudi Arabia set to host the clash.

If Fury vs Usyk lands on December 23, then it could go head-to-head with Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn as Eddie Hearn has eyed that date for the all-British grudge match.

Francis Ngannou sends a message to Mike Tyson

Ngannou vs. Fury is one of the biggest crossovers in combat sports history. Given his boxing prowesses, Fury appears to be a favorite going into the fight. Thus, ‘The Predator’ has brought in the absolute best to prepare for his debut.

The former UFC heavyweight champion took to his official Instagram account and posted pictures revealing that Mike Tyson is training him for the fight. He wrote a two-word caption on the post:

    “Iron Mike”

Francis Ngannou is all excited about training with ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet.’And claimed it is the best decision he made. Ngannou is set to earn over $10 million for this fight

Not only is this one of the greatest fights of his career, but this fight versus Fury will net Ngannou his largest payday. ‘The Predator’ quit UFC earlier this year due to a contractual disagreement.

Many people predicted that his career would sink after that. Surprisingly, the Cameroonian fighter proved his naysayers wrong. Ngannou landed this fight shortly after signing with the PFL.

According to reports, Ngannou will now earn more than $10 million for his boxing debut. However, it is vital to remember that the ex-UFC fighter will not have an easy battle. Nevertheless, Ngannou has faced and overcome many difficult hurdles during his career. Likewise, he will give it all inside the squared ring.

A sweet tribute if anything from Tommy.

The hidden meaning behind why Tommy Fury has Bambi on his boxing shorts and gown

Ever since he burst onto our screens on Love Island back in 2019, Tommy Fury has continued to pull on our heartstrings.

The 24-year-old Mancunian has been in a relationship with social media star Molly-Mae Hague ever since they exited the villa and welcomed their first child, Bambi, into the world earlier this year.

Fury, who is set for yet another huge night of boxing against YouTube star KSI this weekend, currently boasts an unbeaten record of 9-0, but is still clear a huge softy at heart.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted the special embroidery on his shorts and gown during his fight with Jake Paul earlier this year, with his daughters name a constant reminder of his successes.

Former foe Paul was actually the one to leak the announcement of their child back in January and later apologised for his part in the ordeal.

In a sit-down face-to-face he said: “I apologise actually for leaking your baby’s announcement; I honestly didn’t mean to say that before.” Paul then revealed a white gift box tied with a ribbon and handed it over to new dad Tommy, saying: “I’ve actually got a gift for Bambi; this is like a really nice designer baby brand.”

Fury also recently featured on the popular Netflix hit ‘At Home With The Furys’, as supporters got to witness first hand a sneak peak at life for Molly and Tommy.

Shot prior to Bambi’s safe arrival, Hague spoke in detail with half-brother Tyson’s wife Paris about the demands being in the spotlight can naturally bring.

It is unclear whether or not Molly will be in the crowd in Manchester this weekend. We may yet see another touching tribute from the young dad, as he attempts to end his prolonged back and forth with KSI once and for all.

Francis Ngannou And The Brutal Physical Transformation With Mike Tyson As His Personal Trainer

Francis Ngannou is preparing for one of the biggest nights of his life when he takes on Tyson Fury in a boxing exhibition.

Despite the fact fans wanted to see Fury take on Oleksandr Usyk in a battle for the undisputed heavyweight title, the Gypsy King has instead elected to battle someone who has never had a professional boxing bout.

Ngannou, widely criticized by Dana White for wanting too much money, has been looking for a way to break into the current era of showpiece boxing events without the risk of real damage.

With that being said, nobody can accuse the former UFC champion of not taking his preparation for the fight seriously, and the combat star set about hiring Mike Tyson to work as his trainer for the battle.

The results, at least aesthetically, have been spectacular with Ngannou looking a stacked-yet-lean fighting machine.

He is in shape and is building up his conditioning to potentially fight for 10 to 12 rounds against Fury, although that will depend entirely on how quickly the professionally trained boxer wants to be back home and in bed.

Ngannou has Mike Tyson’s support ahead of fight

Whilst purist boxing fans will not expect Ngannou to be able to even land as single-shot on arguably the most technically proficient heavyweight boxer to ever live, Francis Ngannou has one huge supporter in his corner.

Mike Tyson knows heavyweight boxing incredibly well. It both made him and arguably was his downfall in a blisteringly successful career.

Having dipped his toes back in the water with his own comeback, Iron Mike is now hoping to harness the sheer power of Ngannou into a boxing-ready machine.

“It’s no secret I back Ngannou 100 percent in this face-off of champions,” Mike Tyson declared.

“He has one hard punch, and when it lands, it’s game over. I’m looking forward to working with Ngannou and supporting his transition from the octagon to the boxing ring.

“He isn’t a combat novice, he is a world champion. He knows how to compete when the bell rings, but the key will be combining his energy and combat skills into his punches and using his agility to move swiftly around the ring then delivering the knockout blow. We’re here to win.”

Not just in boxing, but ‘Butterbean’ made a mark in various verticals of combat sports like MMA, wrestling, and kickboxing. In a genuine sense, he was a true combat sports fighter. ‘Butterbean’ was approached prior to Roy Jones Jr. getting scheduled to face Tyson in the exhibition bout. In a fresh conversation with Fred Talks Fighting, the 54-year-old revealed why he didn’t sign for the exhibition bout against ‘Iron’.

    NoI’m totally retired,” said Esch.

Mike Tyson has explained why he can never return to the person he was before and how that has ended his time even working out as he enters a new chapter of his life

Mike Tyson has revealed the heartwrenching reason why he no longer works out.

The Baddest Man on the Planet will go down in history as one of the best heavyweight boxers of all time.

However, his triumphant highs came with some tremendous lows, such as becoming the youngest heavyweight champions ever to facing prison time four years later for rape.

This would not be his first time imprisoned when he was found guilty of attacking motorists in 1998.

These days, Tyson has moved away from the turbulent sides of his life and has started a pathway of redemption.

And that includes not falling into old habits, so much so that he has avoided working altogether.

“I keep away from that stuff now, all that stuff reactivates my ego,” he said in an interview with Joe Rogan. “If I reactivate my ego, I’m going to lose in life.”

Tyson’s life has not been without tragedy when his four-year-old daughter Exodus strangled to death on a cord from a treadmill in 2009.

This moment proved a turning point for the New York-born star, who has previously admitted that he will never get over it.

“I look at [my former self] for me to be given a platform to help me forget about that guy,” he continued.

“In order to arrive to that next chapter in life you have to forget the chapter before you and focus on the chapter ahead of you.

“Being that person, being that guy – that sent me to so many other places like the psych ward and prison. That guy is a trip.”

Nowadays, Tyson has entered the legal marijuana industry in California and has turned to religion.

It follows him turning to sobriety after falling into drug addiction and becoming bankrupt.

He also has revealed how marriage helped him turn his life around.

“If I wasn’t married I’d be very different,” Tyson explained. “I’d still be that violent schmuck because that’s all I once knew – how to hurt people.

While reminiscing about the life and death of the iconic rapper, Tyson got emotional during a radio interview last week.

The boxing legend appeared on the Real 92.3’s Big Boy’s Neighborhood radio show and talked about a myriad of topics from music to marijuana to mental illness to the last time he saw Tupac. Tyson was asked, “When it comes to athletes and rappers being best friends one of the most iconic friendships was the one between you and Tupac, what was your last memory with Pac?” Iron Mike was overwhelmed with emotion and responded, “Oh sh*t.” Breaking into tears, Mike needed a tissue and a moment to understandably compose himself.

“It’s very difficult to talk about,” Tyson said about his memories of their friendship. “He was just a young kid, and he wanted to be great – and then that happened.”

Tupac was fatally shot after the boxing match where Tyson destroyed Bruce Seldon on September 7, 1996, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas with a first-round knockout that is still one of the shortest Heavyweight championship fights in boxing history, only lasting 1:49. Tupac was Tyson’s VIP guest at the highly-anticipated fight.

  • Wilder vs. Foreman: Clash of Opinions on Deontay Wilder’s Knockout Legacy vs. Mike Tyson, Sparks Verbal Showdown

Wilder vs. Foreman: Clash of Opinions on Deontay Wilder’s Knockout Legacy vs. Mike Tyson, Sparks Verbal Showdown

In the history of boxing, there have been some fighters who have the power and strength to end a large majority of their fights with lights-off knockouts. Over the last decade, Deontay Wilder has established himself as one of the greatest knockout artists in the history of the sport. But legendary boxer George Foreman says don’t anoint Wilder as the best ever just yet.

TMZ talked to George Foreman this week and asked his opinion on Deontay Wilder. Foreman was asked if Deontay is the greatest heavyweight knockout artist of all-time.

“He’s good, but he hasn’t approached Joe Louis, Joe Frazier, Mike Tyson. No, he hasn’t approached that kind of recognition yet. No way,” Foreman replied.

Louis had a 63-3 record with 52 knockouts, Frazier was 32-4 with 27 KOs, and Tyson was 50-6 with 44 KOs. Wilder is undefeated at 42-0 and one tie with a remarkable 41 knockouts.

Foreman said to become a great knockout artist, Wilder would need to “have a performance like Mike Tyson did over Trevor Berbick. Boy, when I saw that, I was down visiting Vegas, and I thought, ‘This guy is a nightmare!’”

Tyson’s first title fight came on November 22, 1986, against Trevor Berbick for the World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight championship. Tyson easily disposed of Berbick in the second round with a devastating left-handed punch to the head that sent Trevor to the mat. He was wobbling on his feet in an attempt to stay in the fight, but the referee called it since Berbick was clearly dazed.

The 70-year-old boxing legend said Wilder needs to “fight more title defenses and especially no rematches. Rematches don’t count. Unless they’ve beaten you or something, ya know. Rematches don’t count.”

But Foreman said he was excited for Wilder’s rematch against Tyson Fury, which was the only slight blemish on Deontay’s incredible boxing resume. Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury fought on December 1, 2018, and ended in a twelve-round split decision draw.

“I think the Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury rematch would be one of the greatest of all time,” Foreman said. “Not just today, but of all time. If I see that fight, I would say Deontay Wilder has moved up in status, and whoever wins the fight will probably be one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.”

Does Deontay Wilder Hit Harder Than Mike Tyson? George Foreman Answers - EssentiallySports

Foreman was asked if Wilder is the hardest puncher of all-time, to which he quickly responded by saying “Nah” while shaking his head in disapproval. When asked if Deontay punches harder than Tyson did in his prime, Foreman didn’t give a clear cut winner, but did say, “That Tyson could hit, man.”

Deontay Wilder has responded to Foreman’s opinions by proclaiming: “I am the hardest-hitting puncher in boxing history, period.”

“I don’t know what the deal is with the old generation, new generation,” Wilder said. “Like, the old is the past, bro. Let it go!”

“I’m 42-0 with 41 KOs, the numbers speak for themselves,” Wilder said. “I have a 97% ratio to knockout. I’m above everyone. Numbers don’t lie. So I don’t know what Foreman is talking about.”

Deontay added that Mike Tyson has praised him in private, but never went public with his compliments. “I had some people sitting by Mike (at my fight),” he told TMZ. Mike gave me some praises, which I wish he would have said in public. Behind closed doors is cute and s**t but out in public?! Just express yourself!”

Wilder believes his hardest punch he ever landed in a fight was the brutal hit he laid on Polish boxer Artur Szpilka in January of 2016.

“Man, I think the Szpilka fight still tops it. Just the way that he landed, and I really didn’t see him breathing at all,” Wilder explained. “I didn’t see him start breathing until his GF came over, and he finally woke up.”

“It was like something in the movies, and I actually had to witness it with my own eyes, and it was amazing to see that,” Deontay continued. “That one, I really felt it. Ortiz, I didn’t feel the punch.”

Would prime Mike Tyson beat Deontay Wilder? - Quora

Wilder said he only has six years left in boxing, so people should give him the credit he deserves.

Last week, the Bronze Bomber said he has a plan for his upcoming opponents. After his seventh-round knockout of Luis Ortiz last Saturday, his next fight will be Wilder Vs. Fury II, which the venue and date will be announced next week.

Then he wants to fight the winner of the Andy Ruiz Jr. and Anthony Joshua rematch that happens on December 7, 2019, in Saudi Arabia. “Then after I knock Fury out, I’m looking forward to the winner of Joshua – Ruiz,” Deontay said. “Wilder says he thinks “Ruiz will get that one.”

It should be noted that George Foreman is still the GOAT amongst former boxers who now sell grills.

Iconic Knockout Revisited: Fans Reflect Emotionally on Mike Tyson’s 91-Second Triumph

Mike Tyson fought Michael Spinks in Atlantic City on June 27, 1988. In the iconic bout, ‘Kid Dynamite’ knocked out Spinks in 91 seconds. Thus, becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion. Moreover, the fight made $70 million in revenue. Tyson’s reputation soared, but later personal troubles plagued him. Additionally, the fight was billed as ‘Once and for All.’

Furthermore, Spinks suffered his first and only defeat. He retired shortly after the fight. The bout changed heavyweight boxing, setting new standards. It also influenced how boxing matches were promoted and consumed. The fight marked a peak for Tyson and an end for Spinks, impacting their careers and the sport. Moreover, many unhappy people were in the stadium as they didn’t get to engage much. Renowned figures like Donald Trump, too, bid a huge record site on the fight, around 11 million dollars. Recently, in a resurfaced post, fans became nostalgic about it.

Fans delve into the nitty-gritty of the iconic Mike Tyson vs. Michael Spinks bout

Nostalgic fans delved into the details of the match. They discussed in length the performance of ‘Iron Mike’ and Spinks. This led a fan to reflect on Tyson’s early career, stating, “Tyson had few of them. People were told to be in seats before his fights started; if blinked, you could miss it! He was the youngest and most feared when like 21. But personal life messed him up. But he sure brought a lot of excitement to the ring!!!”

Furthermore, another fan shares a critical view of Spinks, asserting, “Spinks was sh*tting his pants when he entered the ring. I’ve never seen a fighter so scared. It was embarrassing to watch. I lost a lot of respect for him that night.”

Iconic Knockout Revisited: Fans... - Best Boxing Matches | Facebook

An user, on the other hand, believes that “Spinks took a dive. He knew he was going to lose. He lost the fight before he even entered the ring. Spinks took one Tyson body shot, and took a knee. Got back up to beat the count; and took one head shot to make it look good. Laid down on the canvas and crossed his eyes. Spinks left the ring unscathed. Handed over the belt, got the paycheck, and Hasta La Vista Baby (Never seen again).”

Next, this fan adds context to the fight, saying, “To add some context for those dismissing Michael Spinks as a ‘blown up Light Heavyweight.’ Tyson and Spinks were closer in size than Fury and Wilder. In addition, Spinks was physically bigger (size and height) than the majority of fighters that Joe Frazier beat (with Ali, Mathis, and Bugner being notable exceptions). Tyson executed so well in this fight that over time people questioned the credibility of Michael Spinks (who was undefeated and never down before) rather than credit Tyson’s ability. It was 91 seconds of perfection for Tyson. Sadly, it started going downhill from there.”

Lastly, a fan compares Spinks to other heavyweights, concluding, “Spinks was never a real heavyweight; he was a light heavyweight, and a great one, but could not beat an elite in his prime at heavyweight. Compare Spinks and Holyfield. Huge difference.”

The fight changed boxing and how it’s promoted. Fans still discuss and remember the fight. Furthermore, Donald Trump’s bid on the fight shows its prominence. The fight symbolizes an era in boxing and captures triumph, controversy, and the sport’s essence.
