David Beckham makes viewers move from emotional to angry when sharing why he visited an elderly fan

The former Manchester United captain did something special for an elderly fan who is suffering from cancer.

The special visit made Mr. David Roberts, a longtime loyal fan of David Beckham, extremely emotional.

According to David Roberts, he was so surprised that he “froze” for a whole minute when he saw David Beckham

Standing in the garden in front of his house and calling his name. “I felt shocked and so surprised,” said David Roberts.

With his rather simple outfit, wearing a beret and a thin sweater, David Beckham brings friendliness, sociability and simplicity.

Because the visit took place at the center of the COVID-19 epidemic, both David Beckham and his fans fully complied with the rules of standing 2 meters away to talk.

David Beckham’s warm greetings, encouragement and a bit of humor helped David Roberts somewhat revive his spirit to continue fighting his dangerous disease.

At the same time, David Beckham also wants to provide some support to David Roberts as well as other cancer patients through the charity fund he founded.

David Beckham is known as one of the most famous and admired football stars around the world.

Although he has been retired for many years, he is still diligent with social and charity activities and especially makes direct contributions to

Raising awareness of health care and reducing cancer in the community.

David Beckham says he’s ‘proud to be part of the Jewish community’, is he really Jewish?

During a fundraiser hosted by JW3 in England, a Jewish education community center, David Beckham said he is proud to be part of the Jewish community.

The famous soccer player was participating in a panel discussion at the St. John’s Wood Synagogue in London, where he spoke about signing soccer star, Lionel Messi.

“I am part of the Jewish community and I am proud to say it,” Beckham told the attendees.

“My grandfather always made sure we would keep up with certain traditions,” he continued. “We went to bar mitzvahs and weddings and I would wear a kippah.”

David Beckham told the crowd traces his Jewish heritage to his maternal grandfather Joseph, who kept many of the Jewish traditions during his life.

“Every Saturday morning, I used to go to see my grandfather. You’d walk in the house to my grandmother preparing chicken soup and matza balls and latkes,” Beckham said.

“We always kept to those traditions; it was always about the family coming together and spending time together.”

Beckham is not considered Jewish according to rabbinic law in Orthodox Judaism, however, reform Jews in Europe

And North America say that anyone who claims to be a Jew and who does not practice any other religion is considered Jewish.

In the First Temple Period, being Jewish was something one inherited from one’s father, as can be seen in the multiple genealogies listed in the Bible.

During the early rabbinic period, following the destruction of the Second Temple, matrilineal descent became the determining factor in proving who was Jewish.

While Beckham does not practice Orthodox Judaism, he said he continues to participate in Jewish holidays and local events in his community.

Beckham and his wife, former Spice Girls pop singer Victoria Beckham, both have tattoos in Hebrew from the Song of Songs that read: “I am my beloved and my beloved is mine.”

During the panel discussion, host Ben Winston quoted the first part of the traditional blessing recited over foods containing bread, called Hamotzi.

Beckham completed the blessing flawlessly. Beckham’s son Cruz attended a Jewish preschool in Los Angeles in 2008, and his oldest son, Brooklyn

Married Jewish American actress Nicola Peltz in a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony last year.

David Beckham is enjoying Halloween with his youngest.

The soccer legend, 48, dressed up alongside daughter Harper, 12, for the occasion, with the athlete wearing prosthetic horns on his head.

Harper was dressed as one of the Chipettes from Alvin & The Chipmunks.

“Happy Halloween from me 😈 & my little chipette 🐿️ #HarperSeven 🎃 @victoriabeckham,” he wrote.

Tagging his sons —  Cruz, 18, Romeo, 21, and Brooklyn, 24 — he added, “we missed you boys 🎃🎃🎃.”

Harper has earned all the love from family on social media as of late, as her sister-in-law Nicola Peltz Beckham

Who married Brooklyn Beckham in 2022 — shared an adorable picture with her a couple weeks back.

Taken backstage at Victoria Beckham’s Paris Fashion Week show the month before

Peltz’s mirror selfie with Harper marked one of the sweeter moments at the show, and came alongside a heartwarming caption.

“Such a beautiful show with my baby sis 🤍🤍🤍 congratulations @victoriabeckham,” Peltz, 28, wrote.

Just this month, David and Victoria, 49, were joined by Harper and her three brothers for the London premiere of Beckham

A four-part Netflix docuseries following David’s life and career. As they do, the Beckham family dressed to impress

With Harper wearing a baby-pink dress and holding a lilac purse from her mother’s brand.

In an interview with Vogue Australia this summer, the former Spice Girl opened up about how body shaming has erupted on social media

And her worries of how that might impact Harper one day.

“Harper isn’t on social media, so we don’t have to worry about that just yet. But seeing how cruel people can be, yes it really does [concern me],” she said.

Victoria said that Harper is “at that age where her body is going to start changing, but it’s about making sure that we communicate

A lot as a family and she surrounds herself with nice friends. But it is quite terrifying, I can’t lie.”

The mom of four also shared that Harper is more conservative in comparison to her own looks from her Spice Girls days.

“She actually said to me recently, ‘Mummy, I’ve seen some pictures of you when you were in the Spice Girls and your skirts were just unacceptable. They were just too short,’ ” she said.

“Then David piped up and said, ‘Absolutely, Harper! They really, really were.’ And she was actually quite disgusted at how short my skirts were.

I said, ‘Are you never going to wear skirts like that?’ She said, ‘Absolutely not.’ We’ll see.”

The Beckham family carries a bag of hundreds of millions to travel, appearing extremely “chill” at the airport

On February 11, Romeo Beckham and his U21 Brentford teammates were in the city of Alicante (Spain) to prepare for the Mediterranean Cup tournament.

Here, Romeo – the second son of the Beckham family – is the one who gets the most attention.

Some airport employees are said to have recognized Romeo and asked to take a photo with the 21-year-old midfielder.

In the posted photos, Romeo appears wearing a T-shirt and Brentford club pants.

However, the highlight lies in the Belvédère PM branded bag costing nearly 2,700 pounds (about 85 million VND) used by Romeo.

As the son of famous fashion designer Victoria, the Beckhams of course know how to dress and coordinate clothes appropriately.

Romeo is described as being extremely “chill” at the airport with his headphones already prepared.

After leaving the airport, Romeo and Brentford U21 moved to the team hotel.

In the Mediterranean Cup, Beckham’s team will face two opponents from Ukraine: Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih and Metalist Kharkiv and Stjarnan (Iceland).

The three sons of Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz were once expected to follow in Beckham’s footsteps and become stars of the England team.

From a young age, all three were enrolled in Arsenal’s youth team. However, in 2014, the London team broke up with Beckham’s three sons.

Up to now, only Romeo has pursued a football career but is not highly appreciated.

Romeo used to be part of the youth team of Inter Miami, a club co-owned by Beckham.

However, at the end of 2022, Romeo decided to return to England to play for Brentford to be closer to his girlfriend Mia Regan.

Not long ago, the Beckhams moved out with their other half.

Beckham responded extremely harshly when he learned that his wife and daughter were being bullied at school

David Beckham’s wife – designer Victoria – opened up about her past of being bullied in a new video.

Recently, the 49-year-old fashion designer revealed about his childhood in an interview.

Sharing in the interview as well as snapshots with Harper, Victoria took the time to praise her daughter for being thoughtful

And strong when confiding about her own experiences with the caption: “BE A GOOD PERSON BEST IN CLASS!”.

“I’m so proud to raise a strong and caring daughter! Growing up, I was often bullied at school

And I often told Harper how important it was to be kind and speak up if Has anyone ever been bullied?” Victoria confided, tagging her daughter Harper with a proud kiss.

Also in the short clip from the interview, Victoria revealed that she was an awkward teenager who didn’t have many friends and told her children about being bullied in the past.

“I was bullied a lot. I often talked to Harper about it. I said, you know, if there’s a little girl alone on the playground, she’s the mother and that’s heartbreaking.

I see Making friends is very, very easy, but my mother never did that,” the star added.

Immediately after the post went viral, many fans quickly left comments under the article expressing their own thoughts about the Beckham couple’s parenting style.

“This is so profound, it made me cry. So wonderful to witness this healing from a parent determined to break the vicious cycle. Millions of hugs Victoria for your girl,”

“I wish all parents would teach their children this”, “This is considered a great message. Kindness costs nothing”,…

  • The car company that Beckham owns is not real, why would he do that

The car company that Beckham owns is not real, why would he do that

Scoring from the half way line. That fateful red card against Argentina after booting Diego Simeone. A curling last-gasp free-kick against Greece. Marrying a Spice Girl.

That sarong. Over the years there have been many, many memorable David Beckham moments.

But here’s one for us petrolheads: old Golden Balls has whacked out his cheque book and splashed out on a 10 per cent stake in luxo electric start-up Lunaz.

You know them, right? The firm who have been ruffling feathers in the classic car scene for a few years now with their meticulous conversions and restorations.

They make some mega ‘leccy stuff, from Sixties Rolls-Royce Phantom Vs and Silver Clouds to Jaguar XK120s

And the Top Gear Electric Award-winning fully electric 1961 Bentley Continental S2 Flying Spur.

The latest addition to the range is an electric MkI Range Rover – yours for around £250k.

But if blank cheques are more your thing, then Lunaz is always happy to discuss something entirely bespoke. And it’s not limited to British brands either… nothing’s off the table.

And now Becks has joined as an investor, snagging a 10 per cent stake in the firm to help it get to the next level.

He’s not the only one, as other monied folk have also rummaged behind the back of the sofa including

Daily Telegraph owners, the Barclay family, the property billionaire Reuben brothers and Alexander Dellal.

Because now Lunaz wants to use its electric nous to expand its production and go into commercial vehicles and plans to clean up in more ways than one.

See, not only will these heavy-duty vehicles run on electricity, but they’re also starting with a bin lorry.

“Lunaz represents the very best of British ingenuity in both technology and design,” Beckham said.

“I was drawn to the company through their work restoring some of the most beautiful classic cars through upcycling and electrification.

“[Company founder] David Lorenz and his team of world-class engineers are building something very special and I look forward to being part of their growth.”

We just hope we’ll see Becks as a Binny McBinface EV bin lorry development driver.

But Lunaz is also dividing its company up a bit under a new banner, Lunaz Group. The Silverstone firm will now operate through three sub-brands.

‘Lunaz Design’ will be the Lunaz we currently know, reviving, re-engineering and converting gorgeous classics to run from a three-pin plug and battery-electric powertrains.

Then there’s ‘Lunaz Applied Technologies’ that will upcycle and re-engineer specialist industrial fleet vehicles and converts them to electric powertrain (Becks’ bin lorry).

The final slice of the Lunaz pie is ‘Lunaz Powertrain’, that will provide modular electric powertrains for other carmakers, suppliers

And independent automotive engineering businesses, a bit like Rimac does for other large OEMs.

So it looks like Lunaz is here to stay and with some celebrity endorsement. Back of the net!

  • David Beckham will return to Staffordshire University to work as a lecturer, what subjects will he teach?

David Beckham will return to Staffordshire University to work as a lecturer, what subjects will he teach?

Students of Sport, Media, and Culture at Staffordshire University are privileged to delve into the captivating subject of David Beckham as part of their degree curriculum.

While it may not entail dissecting the “wit and wisdom” of Beckham, the course certainly delves into the intricacies of his haircuts and marriages

Among other aspects of his public persona.

Professor Ellis Cashmore, whose statement might be mistaken for April Fool’s jest if not for the surreal reality of the education system, remarked

“We will be examining the rise of football from its folk origins in the 17th century to the central place it occupies in British culture.

We do have to concede that Beckham occupies a lot of our attention today. He’s the object of a great many fantasies.”

The curriculum promises a comprehensive exploration of football’s evolution, tracing its humble beginnings to its current status as a cornerstone of British culture.

Beckham, undoubtedly, serves as a focal point of modern football fascination, captivating the public with his charisma, skill, and off-field endeavors.

However, Professor Cashmore’s wry observation prompts reflection on the nature of celebrity obsession.

While Beckham commands considerable attention, it’s worth noting that similar fervor can be directed toward lesser-known figures like Philippe Senderos

Whose potential transfer requests spark speculation and intrigue among fans.

In essence, the study of Beckham’s influence transcends mere admiration of his athletic prowess; it offers insight into broader societal trends, celebrity culture

And the enduring allure of sports icons. As students embark on this academic journey, they’ll uncover layers of meaning behind

Beckham’s fame, enriching their understanding of sport, media, and culture in the process.

  • Mike Tyson was scared of trainer Cus D’Amato during his career

Mike Tyson was scared of trainer Cus D’Amato during his career

‘Cus’ helped Tyson become a world champion but their relationship wasn’t always great.

Mike Tyson was scared of trainer Cus D'Amato during his career

Mike Tyson was known as the ‘Most Dangerous Man on the Planet’ but even the former heavyweight world champion was ‘petrified’ of one person.

There aren’t many people who wouldn’t have been a little bit scared of Tyson, especially during his career spanning 20 years and 56 professional fights.

Even Kevin Nash, a legendary wrestler of 6″10, recently revealed that he was scared of coming up against ‘Iron Mike,’ admittedly it was going to be in a ‘shoot’ fight.

Nash’s decision to avoid the fight cost him his own world title, with Vince McMahon deciding that Bret Hart would be WWE champion, with Tyson then rocking up to the company two years later.

Especially in his prime, as he built up a perfect 37-0 record, and became the youngest world champion in the history of heavyweight boxing, no one could touch the American.

It would be daft to imagine him being scared of anyone, but Tyson himself admitted that he was ‘petrified’ of former trainer D’Amato.

Writing in his book, ‘Iron Ambition: My Life with Cus D’Amato,’ back in 2017, the 56-year-old said, “I was petrified when I was alone with him.

“If he called me – ‘Mike, I need to talk to you’ – I didn’t feel good going over to him.

“That’s when he’d start giving me his detailed criticisms of my fights.”

The former world champion also said he knew his coach could ’embarrass’ him if he slipped up. “I knew I could get embarrassed in front of everyone if I spoke out of line,” Tyson added.

“So I learned rather fast not to say anything while he was taking unless he invited me to.”

“When he was happy, talking, laughing with the press, I knew that at any moment s*** could happen.”

Life with his trainer clearly wasn’t pleasant for Tyson, who also explained that behind the celebrations life was far from great, “People see the public celebrations of my sensational knockouts but they don’t hear Cus talking to me alone after the fight!

“He’d make me feel like s***, play with my emotions. He would put things in your head all day.”

Despite that, Tyson did credit D’Amato as the man who helped him unleash the power that helped him become a world champion.

When he did capture the title for the first time, against Trevor Berbick in 1986, D’Amato had passed away a year previously, having been with Tyson from when he was a teenager.

These days, ‘Iron Mike’ certainly doesn’t have the same sort of image that would lead people to be as scared of him as they once were.

In fact, Jake Paul even revealed that he thinks he would knock out the former boxer, which is a hell of a call considering he didn’t even beat Tommy Fury.

Furious Laura Woods slams ‘catastrophe’ of Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk collapsing and says fans ‘deserve better’

Laura Woods said it doesn’t shine a positive light on Tyson Fury after his fight with Oleksandr Usyk has fallen through (for now at least).

Furious Laura Woods slams 'catastrophe' of Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk collapsing and says fans 'deserve better'

Laura Woods has insisted that boxing fans “deserve better” after Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk’s undisputed heavyweight unification fight appeared to fall through.

Fury and Usyk were expected to settle their rivalry once and for all in a hotly anticipated super-fight at Wembley Stadium on 29th April.

However, Fury issued a series of demands to unified champion Usyk, including a 70-30 purse split in his favour and a rematch clause to be axed from the deal.

Usyk, who captured his titles from Anthony Joshua before successfully defending them against the Brit, called out Fury’s bluff and agreed to the purse split.

But the 36-year-old Ukrainian’s promoter, Alex Krassyuk, on Wednesday claimed that the mega-fight had fallen through and pulled no punches towards WBC champ Fury.

“The fight is called off. The reason for that is it went too far,” he told talkSPORT.

“There was a feeling that after Usyk accepted 70-30 Tyson Fury started to think he can put a saddle on his neck and start riding Usyk as much as he can. It is not right.

“Usyk accepted the 70/30 split. He was so loyal and he was so willing to make this fight happen. But this fight is not about Tyson Fury. It is about the WBC belt and expanding his collection.

“If it is so complicated that Tyson tries to avoid it by putting so many obstacles in front of making the deal, then there is no need to put more effort into it.

“The only thing that stays in my mind is that undisputed stays our highest priority and we will do our best to make it happen within the shortest period of time and whoever is the temporary holder of the WBC belt, we will try to make it happen.”

Speaking on her morning breakfast show, Woods claimed that Fury vs Usyk falling through is a “catastrophe” for boxing’s PR and also said it doesn’t shine a positive light on the ‘Gypsy King.’

“Every time the posts were moved, Usyk agreed to it,” she said on talkSPORT.

“Boxing fans in this country deserve better. Fight fans in general deserve better.

“It’s a catastrophe in terms of PR for the world of boxing at the moment. It doesn’t look good for Fury. I don’t understand it.”

Frank Warren says Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk is NOT dead yet, plans to hold further talks

Frank Warren says Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk is NOT OFF as he insists a deal can still be agreed to make the blockbuster undisputed showdown.

The Wembley Stadium bout had appeared to be off after the Ukrainian’s manager said that negotiations broke down following exchanges with Fury’s camp.

It’s believed that Fury and Usyk ‘couldn’t agree on other material terms critical to the deal beyond the split.’

However, the British star’s promoter, Warren, has now claimed Fury vs. Usyk is NOT dead yet as he plans to hold further talks with Alex Krassyuk.

When he was asked to confirm whether the fight is off, the 71-year-old told talkSPORT: “No, I’m not confirming it’s off.

“All I’ve had from him [Klimas] officially was an email that said, ‘Gentlemen, hope you’re okay, I’m not going into details, start to blame or point the finger to anyone, but we’d like to officially announce that Team Usyk is out of further negotiations regarding the April 29 fight.’

“We got that yesterday, that’s the first we heard of it.”

Warren continued by explaining the issue surrounding the rematch clause, claiming he has convinced Fury to include a second bout in the contract.

“We got it all out the way except for one issue and that was the rematch,” he added.

“Tyson publicly stated that we should scrap the rematch, this was to simplify the deal.

“Rematch clauses can be very difficult and Tyson’s been there before when a rematch blocked a fight with him and Anthony Joshua [in 2021] when Deontay Wilder took him to court. That kyboshed that fight with Joshua.

“Anyway, I convinced Tyson to take the rematch [with Usyk] and he did. So, I told them on Sunday we’re gonna go with the rematch.

“Then we got into a situation with how the rematch money is gonna be split and that’s what we’ve been working on…

“Why can’t it be overcome if he wants the fight? We want the fight, why can’t it be overcome?… There’s no reason for this fight to be off.”

Warren also suggested Team Usyk want a rematch clause because it secures two paydays.

“You know why they want the rematch clause? Because it’s two paydays,” he explained.

“Where are they gonna earn the type of money they can earn fighting Tyson twice?

“They aren’t gonna get that type of money to fight Filip Hrgovic, Joe Joyce or Daniel Dubois [Usyk’s three mandatory challengers].

“But Tyson brings a lot of money to the table, that’s why they want it…

“We are willing to take the same deal as what they did for their rematch with Anthony Joshua.

“I know what that deal is so we’ll go with that, no problem with that.”

Will Fury vs. Usyk happen? Stay tuned to SPORTbible to find out.
