Victoria Beckham has given an insight into her ‘wonderful’ 50th birthday celebrations after throwing a £250,000 party in London and flying to France by private jet.

In an Instagram video with Vogue uploaded on Tuesday, the fashion designer talked about her whirlwind week as she celebrated her collection launch with Mango in Barcelona.

Posh said on her birthday, which was last Wednesday, she travelled to the south of France with David, their children and her parents before hosting a star-studded party in London.

She told fans: ‘I have just celebrated my birthday and I had the best birthday week. On my actual birthday I went to the south of France with the children and David and with my parents and we just had a wonderful day.

‘We had lunch, we had some drinks. We had dinner and I had the best time just with my family and then to celebrate my birthday I had a party in London which was so much fun.’

Victoria went on to tell fans what items in her collection she would wear while staying in their £12million Cotswolds farmhouse or for a meeting at Vogue.

‘A day in the Cotswolds, if it’s the summer I might wear one of the slip dresses with a sandal,’ she said.

‘If I’m going to the Vogue offices I would be smart and I would wear the tailoring’, she added as she showed off her white suit.

For her mammoth birthday celebrations, Posh and David, 48, flew by private jet to the south of France with their four children; Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper and Victoria’s parents Jackie and Tony

The fashion designer and the retired footballer, 48, then took a chaffeur-driven car to £200-a-head restaurant in Saint-Paul de Vence on the French Riviera, believed to be the famous La Colombe d’Or.

The couple, their four children along with Victoria’s parents Jackie and Tony and were later flown back to Luton Airport.

A source told The Sun: ‘David chose somewhere incredibly remote.

‘The restaurant regularly hosts A-list celebrities during the Cannes film festival so none of the Riviera locals bat an eyelid when they see a celebrity.

‘Victoria had an amazing fine wine-fuelled afternoon, soaking up the rays al fresco, overlooking the Med and enjoying her favourite white fish.’

La Colombe d’Or is a favourite of the Beckhams, having visited there in the past for romantic dinner.

The world-famous restaurant is based in St Paul de Vence, where celebrities such as Sean Connery, Johnny Depp and Joan Collins have holiday homes.

It is steeped in history as a restaurant where impoverished artists used to give paintings for food. The works of Yves Klein, Leger, Picasso and Cezanne, worth millions, still adorn the walls.

The menu, concocted by Paul Roux, features a basket of crudités and a host of famous starters: grilled peppers in olive oil, caramelised onions, stuffed baby vegetables, baked Provençal tomatoes, beans, anchovies, aubergines and other specialities from the Midi.

Then on Saturday, the family partied until the early hour as she celebrated her 50th birthday surrounded by her family and celebrity friends.

Declaring it ‘the best night ever’, the Spice Girl had to be carried out of swanky Mayfair private members’ club Oswald’s by her husband David at 2:30am after celebrating with her Spice Girls bandmates and Tom Cruise.

Her recent foot injury saw the star rely on crutches for her glam entrance hours earlier, but she had her husband on hand for a piggy back as the night came to a close.

Giggling behind her heavily tinted sunglasses, Victoria was seen slumped against her family after being carried into the waiting car.

David was without his jacket as the family made their way home.

But Posh was back to work on Monday as she was seen arriving in Girona for the launch of her Mango collection.

Her first foray onto the high street, the new collection is priced at just a tenth of the price of Victoria’s own label after it’s said she wants to become ‘more relatable’.

A transparent black silk dress is priced at £210 and she has also launched a range of accessories including £120 leather sandals, £140 high heels and a £60 handbag.

Her trademark slip dresses, knitwear and tailoring have been recreated at a more purse-friendly price point, compared to the £90 she charges for a T-shirt from her eponymous label, which was launched in 2008.

Victoria revealed in an interview with WWD that she had decided to work with Mango to ‘speak to a wider audience in a way that feels relevant to my brand and retains my aesthetic and DNA’.

In an interview with Vogue last week she insisted she hasn’t compromised on quality, promising that ‘when you invest in one of these pieces, you won’t just wear it for one season, they’ll be pieces you’ll keep in your wardrobe and wear time and time again.’

Calling the collection ‘timeless’, Victoria saod: ‘I think people will be very surprised by how strong the fashion message is in every single garment.’

Fans were quick to share their excitement about the collection with many claiming on Victoria’s Instagram post to have already bought some items.

‘I love the entire collection, just placed my order,’ one person commented.

Another said: ‘It’s absolutely stunning, dresses are so feminine and elegant️, just got one!’

The case has rumbled on for several years after Beckham and golfing legend Greg Norman filed cases against F45 in Californian courts in October 2022

The judge reportedly ruled they had to file separate lawsuits.

Beckham’s firm, David Beckham Ventures Ltd (DBVL) had earlier sought damages of as much as $18.85million from F45, according to filings made last year.

But the new case now seeks damages directly from Wahlberg’s Mark Wahlberg Investment Group as well as F45’s founders Adam Gilchrist and Rob Deutsch, according to reports.

Beckham and Wahlberg became friends after the footballer and his family relocated to Los Angeles in 2007.

At the time, Beckham had signed a deal to join Major League Soccer team LA Galaxy.

He then agreed to become the global ambassador for Australian brand F45 in November 2020 – with glossy photographs showing him working out using branded equipment at one of its fitness centers.

He also shared some posts on his Instagram promoting F45 to his millions of followers as part of the deal. The posts have since been deleted.

As part of the deal, DBVL alleges shares in the company were promised to be shared in early 2022 – but the shares were not divulged until months later, by which time the share price had plummeted from around $12 a share to $3 a share.

Beckham’s lawyers claim this cost him as much as $10 million in potential profit as a result of the delay in issuing his firm with the shares promised in the deal.

The Sun reports that Wahlberg and his co-defendants are seeking to dismiss the allegations of ‘fraudulent conduct’ as baseless and lacking in merit.

F45’s share price in the US has never recovered from its early price of $16.

Shares in the firm are now worth just 15 cents, according to the most recent market data.

The company has been plagued with closures at franchises in several countries including its native Australia, the US, the UK and Ireland.

Wahlberg became a minority shareholder in F45 in 2019 after buying a stake in the company through his investment group.

Representatives for Beckham and Wahlberg have been contacted for comment.

On Monday, the soccer legend and the former Spice Girls member marked their 23rd wedding anniversary with sweet social media tributes to one another.

Victoria, 48, took a silly approach on Instagram, captioning the photo of herself and David, 47. “They say he isn’t funny, they say I never smile, they said it wouldn’t last 😂,” she teased.

She continued on a serious note, “Today we celebrate 23 years being married. David you are my everything, I love you so much!!!! 💕”

The pair have also been open in the past about each other’s hilarious tendencies. In February, David appeared on the River Café Table 4 podcast and revealed the meal his wife has eaten since they first met.

Explaining that he has a passion for cooking, David joked, “Unfortunately I’m married to someone that has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years!”

“Since I met Victoria, she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables,” David told host Ruthie Rogers. “She will very rarely deviate away from that.”

A rep for the couple told PEOPLE earlier this month that the two were not heading for divorce.

Victoria began the carousel of photos with a shot of herself and husband David Beckham. She also included shots of her daughter, Harper, 12, son Romeo, 21, with girlfriend, Mia Regan, as well as her parents, Jackie and Anthony Adams.

The Beckhams’ night out comes just days after the family was all in one place to celebrate Christmas together.

This year, Victoria surprised David, 48, with a very special gift — a coop full of chickens.

She gave her Instagram followers a look at the lively gift with a video of him feeding the fowl, which she captioned, “What do you get @davidbeckham for Christmas??”

In the clip, the soccer legend sports a Santa hat as he sprinkles seeds around the coop, saying, “I got some chickens and a cockerel.”

From behind her camera lens, the fashion designer dubs the birds “Beckham chickens” and observes that the family’s new feathery friends are “a bit camera shy.”

Also in the mix at Christmas was David’s mom, Sandra Beckham. On Friday, the retired athlete and Sandra had lunch together, along with a few other family members.

Victoria Beckham is celebrating a milestone birthday.

The pop star turned mogul turned 50 on Wednesday, April 17 and has been enjoying time with family and friends all week. Part of the festivities has included hanging out on a yacht and soaking up the sun.

On Wednesday, Victoria’s friend Jamie Salter shared an Instagram photo of the birthday girl surrounded by friends, including Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. The group — which also contained the designer’s husband David Beckham — posed on the deck of the boat with blue skies and serene water in the background.

“Grateful for this crew,” Salter, who is the founder, chairman and CEO of Authentic Brands Group, captioned the post. “Let’s have some fun in the sun.”

Ahead of her birthday, Victoria reflected on her career evolution in a heartfelt Instagram message shared on Tuesday, April 16.

“As I get ready to step into 50 (in heels, of course!), I feel so incredibly blessed to have reached this milestone,” she began in the caption. “Blessed, but also accomplished and deeply content. Not just of where I am as a woman, but of how far my fashion and beauty brands have come. My ambition was always to empower women and make them feel like the best version of themselves. Every time Target announces a new collaboration with a high end designer, it’s pretty much guaranteed pandemonium. I love every single piece of this collection! I’m probably most drawn to the soft tailored pieces, like the tuxedo shirt and calla lily shirt and pants. They’re just really easy to wear, but still feel luxurious and create a very pulled-together look.”

The line includes more than 200 pieces for women, girls, toddlers, and babies with prices ranging from $6 to $70 – a welcome relief on your wallet for those familiar with the usual price point of the former Spice Girl’s eponymous line – and with most pieces coming in under $40.

The article referenced a trip that Victoria and Harper took to a supermarket chain in England called Waitrose to pick up a specific snack that the preteen wanted for school.

But when her former soccer player husband is away, Victoria and her daughter make sure to have glam nights.

“We do them when David is away,” she said, before revealing, “Tonight it’s fake tan.”

Victoria wore a sheer mint green dress to her soirée, while Harper looked all grown up in a chic champagne gown and the men chose dapper tuxedos.

Former Spice Girls Geri Halliwell-Turner, Emma Bunton, Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm, Melanie “Mel B” Brown also celebrated their friend — and even returned to their roots with Victoria onstage by performing their 1997 single “Stop” during the party.

In her interview with The Sunday Times, Victoria reflected on getting older. “The thing with aging is that it is what it is. I always remember Marc Jacobs saying to me when he turned 60 that it was better than the alternative of not turning 60,” she told the outlet.

“But generally I feel good about things,” she added. “I have better opportunities now than I did when I was younger.”

When Victoria Beckham turns 50, her celebrity friends turn out!

The former Spice Girls member and fashion designer celebrated her 50th birthday earlier this week, and marked the milestone on Saturday, April 20, with a fabulous (and star-studded!) bash.

Victoria arrived at the party — which was held at Oswald’s, a members-only club in London — in a sheer mint green gown, and walked on crutches, which recently became a surprise fixture in her closet due to a foot injury.

She was, of course, flanked by other members of the tight-knit Beckham clan, including husband David Beckham, daughter Harper, 12, and her three sons: Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 19.

The Beckham family let their mom shine on her special day, dressing formally but keeping their birthday bash attire to a muted, black-and-white palette.

Also photographed outside the venue were two of Victoria’s fellow Spice Girls!

Geri Halliwell-Turner (a.k.a. Ginger Spice) arrived to the party with Posh Spice in a strapless white dress with bow details.

Mel B (Scary Spice herself) stepped out in a bright red gown, and seemingly nodded to her Spice Girls days — and specifically, her affinity for animal prints — with a pair of leopard-print heels and a matching shoulder bag.

Another guest from the music world was Marc Anthony, who arrived at the birthday bash hand-in-hand with wife Nadia Ferreira.

Hollywood’s elite also showed out for Victoria’s celebration, and leading the pack was none other than Tom Cruise, who donned a tux and bow tie for the occasion.

The Mission: Impossible star was photographed grinning ear-to-ear as he strolled into Oswald’s.

Eva Longoria and husband José “Pepe” Bastón were also seen dressed to the nines at the celebration, along with Jason Statham, who was joined by his fiancée, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

As a longtime friend of both Victoria and David, Gordon Ramsay was also on the guest list.

The day before her birthday, Victoria shared a message of reflection on Instagram, writing, “As I get ready to step into 50 (in heels, of course!), I feel so incredibly blessed to have reached this milestone.”

In the same post, the designer said her career pivots — from Spice Girls star to fashion designer to beauty mogul — have taught her to “dream big.”

She also shouted out David for his support throughout their 25 years of marriage, as well as their four children, writing that “if you’re really lucky, you’ll find someone who believes in you even more than you do.”

Ever since the 2022 regulations came into effect, Lewis Hamilton has suffered a lot of heartbreak in qualifying. However, he suffered a shocking Q1 exit at the Chinese GP for the first time since the 2022 Saudi Arabian GP. The qualifying outcome in China was especially surprising because of Hamilton’s P2 result a few hours ago in the Sprint race. So, despite carrying momentum, Hamilton could only go 18th fastest in the qualifying session. This was partly due to his mistake at turn 14. Although, Mercedes’ technical director James Allison has assumed some blame and issued an apology.

The team made some changes to the car’s setup ahead of the qualifying session. Additionally, Hamilton took a different approach to the qualifying run plan compared to George Russell. Instead of doing a cooldown lap like Russell did, he went for two push laps consecutively. This was one of the primary reasons behind the horrible outcome as Hamilton later admitted he needed another lap.

On the latest race debrief video on Mercedes’ official YouTube page, Allison highlighted the team’s failure to put Hamilton on the right run plan. He also highlighted the setup gave the Brit a lot of understeer and made it easier for the car to lock up under braking.

Discussing this, Allison said, “He (Lewis Hamilton) would hold his hand up and say, ‘My mistake, my error’. I think we would be a little more rounded and say we should have actually encouraged more strongly that he was pursuing a program a bit more like George’s, so that’s our mistake. We should frankly be making a car that is just not so tricky as the one we’ve got at the moment.”

Allison also added the unpredictable nature of the W15 which is making the drivers make mistakes. Mistakes that are uncharacteristic of the seven-time champion. However, the Mercedes maestro isn’t letting anyone share the blame.

Lewis Hamilton assumes the blame for his Turn 14 error in qualifying

After a brilliant performance in the Sprint race, Lewis Hamilton had high hopes for the qualifying session that followed. Mercedes was allowed to change the setup and was hoping to build on the momentum. However, the Briton exited a qualifying session in Q1 for the first time in almost two years.

Hamilton admitted it was his overestimation of the braking power at Turn 14 that cost him the precious seconds. He also admitted he perhaps needed one more lap. However, the #44 driver made a brilliant recovery run in the race to secure a P9 finish starting from P18. Although, Hamilton was struggling even during the race and facing issues with the pace despite starting on softs.

“I thought maybe at the beginning that I’d tapped someone, because I’ve never had so much understeer in my life, so I was turning in the low-speed and just waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting,” he said as quoted on F1’s official website.

Despite the poor start and output toward the end of the weekend, the seven-time champion was grateful for the points. Now looking ahead, even though he’s had the worst start to a season, he expects a few steps forward in Miami. The Brit is hoping the team back in Brackley will position the car a bit better for the upcoming race.
